Robert is the author of Jeep Show: A Trouper at the Battle of the Bulge (jeepshowbook.com/) , a historical fiction book which tells the story of the entertainers (including, famously, Mickey Rooney) who enlisted in the Army and went further into warzones than any USO show dared in order to boost soldier morale and help win the war.
