Changing “All religions are equal before God”, to “All ethnicities are equal before God,” is a massive change. The former statement is blatant heresy. There is nothing at all controversial about the “contextualized” latter statement.
You’d think that such a clarification would be easy for the alleged visionaries to make.

Ok Well remember that St, Catherine of Siena said that Our Lady said to her that she was NOT the immaculate conception. during her life there was a massive debate between Dominicans and Francisans on this, with lay followers having different views. St. Catherine is actually a said, but he way of viewing the faith at the time was heavily Dominican. We are placing a lot of pressure on these kids and what they understood.

Thanks for this video, Robert. I had not seen it. I am inclined to agree only about 50% with how Father Leon explained this. I believe 100% that Our Lady is appearing in Medjugorje. But she said on more than one occasion that God does not see divisions between religions, or people, or races. Our Lady knew the world would hear what she said, and she is on a VERY serious mission in Medjugorje, so she definitely meant that at face value. Of course Christianity and especially Catholicism are God’s true religion, but He also is the Father, leader, and Creator of all souls on earth. He is sovereign over everyone, no matter the religion they were born into, or atheism they were born into. God loves every soul the same. He has a plan for every soul to be saved. It is a mystery how that happens for those who are not Christians, but it is possible, and probable. Even the catechism says so. Perhaps after death many souls must learn Christianity before entering heaven, and prior to death they are judged solely on love. Who knows. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. He will make sure He gives himslef to every soul in one way or another, so they can choose and understand Him, and be saved, whether it be here on earth, or after we exit this plane.

He wasn't referring to the words spoken by the pope recently, but to a message that Our Lady allegedly gave to the children of Medjugorje, saying that all religions were equal before her Son. Fr. Leon rather brilliantly explains that a message is received according to the receiver's understanding, and the children would have understood that all religions are equal instead of all peoples-ethnicities, because for them, religions and ethnicities meant the same thing. They were asked about a Serbian baby that was cured... How could he, if he was Serb (meaning orthodox)? The explanation seems pretty clear and simple to me 😋

Here's the quote of what was allegedly said by Mary on Oct. 1, 1981:
"Members of all faiths are equal before God. God rules over each faith just like a sovereign over his kingdom. In the world, all religions are not the same because all people have not complied with the commandments of God. They reject and disparage them." Yes, God loves us all.
The second clause; "... all religions are not the same..." clearly contradicts the first clause if it said; "all religions are equal...". That wouldn't make sense, as critics often point out.
Fr. Leon's video is correct though in that it emphasizes looking at the body of messages which confirms the correct interpretation rather than twist one thing to discredit everything.

    • @borderlands6606
      @borderlands6606 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

I have visited Medjugorje and am open minded on the phenomena witnessed there. In some ways it fits with previous Marian visions, in other ways it is completely novel. The repetitive messages are a sticking point. Marian apparitions are generally succinct and unequivocal, whereas Medjugorje's are repetitive and unfocused. There are only so many ways of saying repent, fast, pray and they were exhausted in the initial phase in the 1980s. I wouldn't presume to dictate how the Holy Mother should intervene in the world, but brevity is not a strong point of the messages and brief messages gained plenty of traction with the faithful. Part of the problem is the divisive nature of Medjugorje, which can be characterised as a diabolical riposte to Fatima and clearly the work of the demonic, or absolute acceptance in all details of its authenticity. Is that the hardening of hearts or are we rightly sceptical? Beyond my pay grade either way.

This event, experienced by Viska, occurred at an earlier apparition than the day she was poked. When she was asked why she flinched, she assumed it was in reference to that previous apparition as she was unaware she had moved that day. And that was her answer... that it appeared that Mary might drop Jesus.
Granted, that's so unlikely.... but in the moment of impending tragedy, do you evaluate the likelihood, or react? Do you consider options, or impulsively respond?
Listen again to Fr. Leon's video... look at the body of good works coming from Medjugorje. Jesus said that a bad tree cannot produce good fruit. He said a house divided against itself cannot stand. In advising our discernment, how could He be more clear?

Ask our Lady to guide you in Truth, as you read her and her Son's messages to Luisa, rather than relying on your own "understanding" (Certainly don't consider the misspoken words of others who are interpreting a (perhaps) poor translation, through their life lens and vocabulary). 😮Popes for 40 years did not approve Medjugorje and 2 weeks before the hellish Synod, the apparitions are approved? Is this not a tactic so we trust Crdl (stonecutter) Fernandez in order to push the new horizontal church during the Synod next month?... and to change the wording of the Eucharistic Liturgy? No, this is not by accident...this is how stonecutters work and you really have to be guided by the Holy Spirit to smell an evil plan in the works... Rot begets rot and we are living in end times with the prophecy that the Catholic church is going through its Passion...we need to read clearly the signs of our times. Don't want to be a pessimist...I am a realistic😮

The Apparitions have NOT been approved!!!
Be Very Clear on that FACT!
The site has been approved for prayer and pilgrimage. In other words Nothing at all changed from the previous stance of the church.
No Supernatural apparitions are Believed OR Acknowledged by the church!
“Nulla Osta” to prayer and Pilgrimage.
