This is a great tip! I will definitely try this! Thank you! The challenge I still see and the one I am facing now is getting the same color I picked after doing that in a larger batch. Any tips there? I usually dip the end of a paper towel into the wax to see if I like the color but sometimes it still doesn’t come out as I had hoped… so frustrating!
We are very happy to do some trial and error to hopefully make the process a bit easier! A few drops of dyed wax on a paper towel has saved me a LOT of time for sure
These were 3 oz but many others would work! I like to use ones that are lined though, as this will help the wax and dye not leak out or break the cups.
I still use dye chips or blocks as well! For larger batches though, I like working with the liquid dye just because it can be a bit easier and more economical to use.
Great tip, thanks! I love your dyes!
I'm very glad you like them!

And then add mica powder cuz sparkles
Good idea
It's saved me so much time!
Thanks for this! I wish I could give this a hundred likes. I've been hesitant because I don't want to waste my wax. I've made enough mistakes. 😅

I really needed this information. I'm so tired of seeing brilliant vibrant colors when my wax is liquid only to be disappointed when it hardens
Happy to help! It can be so frustrating when the color varies so much!
What portion sizes were used in the cups here? 4 ounces?

I use color chips! I completely forget liquid dyes exist 😂
