You're showing the true story of what it takes to be a musician! People watch music videos and think "Wow, i want to be a musician and live the high life!" They don't see the endless hours of practice, putting a band together, getting tight & then have it fall apart because of this, that or the other. Or having a great gig and all of a sudden you're out of work because management decided its cheaper to hire a DJ. I could go on & on but being a pro musician is a tuff job! Estepario, no tiene que ver con lo que TH-cam piense que valen nuestras visitas. Tiene que ver con la cantidad de anunciantes que haya para determinado nicho, en un país específico. En Australia, USA, Almania, y otros países, hay muchísimos más anunciantes que pujan para aparecer en distintos vídeos, haciendo que el costo del anuncio suba. TH-cam no decide el CPM, sino que se calcula según lo que te digo. Y el monto que nos paga TH-cam a nosotros, es el 60% de lo que paga el anunciante. No es que piensen que los sudamericanos no valemos verga... Es que no hay plata para anunciar acá, o simplemente los anunciantes no invierten en plataformas digitales tanto como en otros países. Exacto, los anunciantes no tienen ni el menor interés en meter anuncios en nuestros países por qué nuestro poder adquisitivo es menor y no le dan valor a enseñarle un anuncio a gente como nosotros. Una lastima.

I think you’re my favorite person on TH-cam man. Most people never go out of their way to give advice or encourage people anymore, especially in such a broad / all encompassing way. My passion is food / cooking and I always try my best to train, teach and bridge the gap between lessons learned in the kitchen to life in general but it’s always a very personal kind of situation. This is actually a sad video on one hand and an inspiration on the other. You are worth WAY more than TH-cam pays you for all the work you do and the unbelievable talent and skill. I have never seen such drumming. I am a retired Vocalist and only watch two drummers, yourself and Felix Lehrmann as he just has so much Passion and loves what he does.

Funny you said that. My mom was Puerto Rican but I never learned to speak Spanish fluently. Watching his videos with subtitles, I see so many things my mom would say in Spanish when she got pissed off. 😅 I knew she was cursing but didn't know what she was saying. For me it's pretty funny looking back.

Sabía algo de como funcionaba esto en TH-cam porque también tengo algunos videos con anuncios y aún con muy poquitas reproducciones en el Analytics del canal ya se me hizo super evidente la diferencia de lo que se percibe por los videos que son algo más populares en países ricos a comparación de los que prefieren los espectadores de habla hispana. Igual me quedé a ver hasta el final porque no tenía idea de las cifras de Twitch y me daba curiosidad eso. Otra cosa que creo que también influye es el segmento temático al cual pertence tu canal. Estimo que más allá de la ubicación geográfica de la audiencia los canales de música tienen seguidores a los cuales se les destina anuncios de con un valor que se podría llamar "intermedio"; a comparación de otros segmentos de nicho que me han sorprendido escuchar los CPM que manejan. Por sólo citar un ejemplo, en un foro hace unos meses había visto capturas de pantalla de un canal de modesto nivel de tráfico (muy inferior al tuyo, por cierto) que por pertencer al segmento de "apuestas deportivas por internet" tenía ingresos 10 veces superiores a uno de música con igual tráfico, inclusive tratandose de un artista que solamente subía obras propias y por lo tanto tenía todos sus videos monetizados sin reclamos de Copyright. Al parecer esto se debía a que en ese período de tiempo muchas empresas relacionadas a las apuestas deportivas estaban en una campaña de competencia furiosa de publicidad pagando locuras por dichos anuncios y eso generó esa suba de ingresos para los canales que estaban vinculados al tema.

Estepario, no tiene que ver con lo que TH-cam piense que valen nuestras visitas. Tiene que ver con la cantidad de anunciantes que haya para determinado nicho, en un país específico. En Australia, USA, Almania, y otros países, hay muchísimos más anunciantes que pujan para aparecer en distintos vídeos, haciendo que el costo del anuncio suba. TH-cam no decide el CPM, sino que se calcula según lo que te digo. Y el monto que nos paga TH-cam a nosotros, es el 60% de lo que paga el anunciante. No es que piensen que los sudamericanos no valemos verga... Es que no hay plata para anunciar acá, o simplemente los anunciantes no invierten en plataformas digitales tanto como en otros países. Exacto, los anunciantes no tienen ni el menor interés en meter anuncios en nuestros países por qué nuestro poder adquisitivo es menor y no le dan valor a enseñarle un anuncio a gente como nosotros. Una lastima.

I think you’re my favorite person on TH-cam man. Most people never go out of their way to give advice or encourage people anymore, especially in such a broad / all encompassing way. My passion is food / cooking and I always try my best to train, teach and bridge the gap between lessons learned in the kitchen to life in general but it’s always a very personal kind of situation. This is actually a sad video on one hand and an inspiration on the other. You are worth WAY more than TH-cam pays you for all the work you do and the unbelievable talent and skill. I have never seen such drumming. I am a retired Vocalist and only watch two drummers, yourself and Felix Lehrmann as he just has so much Passion and loves what he does.

Dude I love the drumming, im new to the drums literally a month maybe. Obviously me watching your videos at this point is just me dreaming of what I will someday hopefully be like. Love the music choices!!! From what I can tell you are right where you are supposed to be. Money seems to change many people, not that it wouldn't be nice to get whatever you want.... Funny you said that. My mom was Puerto Rican but I never learned to speak Spanish fluently. Watching his videos with subtitles, I see so many things my mom would say in Spanish when she got pissed off. 😅 I knew she was cursing but didn't know what she was saying. For me it's pretty funny looking back.

Sabía algo de como funcionaba esto en TH-cam porque también tengo algunos videos con anuncios y aún con muy poquitas reproducciones en el Analytics del canal ya se me hizo super evidente la diferencia de lo que se percibe por los videos que son algo más populares en países ricos a comparación de los que prefieren los espectadores de habla hispana. Igual me quedé a ver hasta el final porque no tenía idea de las cifras de Twitch y me daba curiosidad eso.
Otra cosa que creo que también influye es el segmento temático al cual pertence tu canal. Estimo que más allá de la ubicación geográfica de la audiencia los canales de música tienen seguidores a los cuales se les destina anuncios de con un valor que se podría llamar "intermedio"; a comparación de otros segmentos de nicho que me han sorprendido escuchar los CPM que manejan.
Por sólo citar un ejemplo, en un foro hace unos meses había visto capturas de pantalla de un canal de modesto nivel de tráfico (muy inferior al tuyo, por cierto) que por pertencer al segmento de "apuestas deportivas por internet" tenía ingresos 10 veces superiores a uno de música con igual tráfico, inclusive tratandose de un artista que solamente subía obras propias y por lo tanto tenía todos sus videos monetizados sin reclamos de Copyright. Al parecer esto se debía a que en ese período de tiempo muchas empresas relacionadas a las apuestas deportivas estaban en una campaña de competencia furiosa de publicidad pagando locuras por dichos anuncios y eso generó esa suba de ingresos para los canales que estaban vinculados al tema.

Eres muy honesto al decir cómo te en este negocio, de hecho por eso sigo tu canal por que eres muy honesto en lo que haces, y aparte lo haces bien, solo me gustaría verte en un vídeo de un género más pesado ya que tienes grandes recursos usando el pedal sencillo, demuestras cómo la gente no debe ponerse pretextos para interpretar una canción solo hay que adaptarse bien a tus posibilidades. The fact views from certain countries are worth more than others has nothing to do with racism, it has to do with revenue and where it comes from. Someone from a rich country is more likely to spend more money more often on the products being advertised. "That's racist!" is just lazy thinking.
