    Thank you Joel. This is now saving me a lot of time, frustration and wear on improperly aligned drive gear.

    So glad you posted this. I have a new BCS 853 and several attachments. I could not get the 30" tiller attached try as I may. Then I listened to and repeated your instructions. The tiller is now attached. Thanks

    Wow, thanks for posting this video! Just yesterday I tried to hook the snowblower attachment for the first time. In order to get the pin to drop I had to wiggle the snowblower as shown in the other quick coupling videos, it now sits at a weird angle to the tractor. I had planned on calling or emailing you but I thought I'd check the videos 1st and here is the exact video to fix the exact problem I just had. Thank you again! You have a great product and provide a great service.

    Im interested in creating tilled lines for growing corn. Im windering what you would think of me removing most of the outer tines for a narrow strip. More power per 4-innermost tines. What do you think? Would if work well? Havjngca log of tines causes me to have to till large surface areas

    Another good video. My problem is getting them apart. Had to make up a special tool to pry them apart.

      Agreed! It took jumping and pushing and two people to disconnect the rototiller from the quick coupling after the rototiller had been used several times and we needed the bush hog. Lost a patch of flesh off my arm when finally pulled the tiller off and it dropped a couple inches despite trying to avoid that. Hope he makes a video of how to get the tiller off if it sticks or direct us to one that shows the best procedure.

      If the couplings are lightly lubricated, and the procedures outlined in ALL of our quick-coupling videos (we have 4 of them) are followed, the quick-couplings work fine. However: Too heavy a grease will cause problems, and of course the main factor for new equipment is that the couplings are MUCH TIGHTER when brand-new, so they are stiffer to work with until they "wear in" a bit.

      Linda, please review ALL the quick-coupling videos on our website (there are 3 besides this one); the tips in the "first" one (video #1) particularly are most helpful. Of course the main factor for new equipment is that the couplings are MUCH TIGHTER when brand-new, so they are stiffer to work with until they "wear in" a bit.

    The locking pin needs a bigger chamfer at the end?

    Greetings. I am having the opposite issue. I can't seem to get the attachment free of the quick connect coupling. It aprears the pin is all the way up and free, but it will not budge. It's like berta plow attachment is stuck on ??

    Will this use with bcs 740 model?

    • @joeldufour6202

      This applies to all BCS machines with 2-bolt PTO and tapered-3-tooth type PTO shaft. So yes, this applies to model 740.

    Are there any tricks to align the quick connect for the Rotary Plow?

    • @joeldufour6202
      @joeldufour6202 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry for the delayed reply. If the plow is equipped with an "integrated" male quick-coupling, then no alignment should be necessary. If the plow has one of the male-quick-couplings "bolted" to the flange (like the tiller in the video), then the same procedure would be used.

    I‘ve found this “quick hitch” not so quick nor well made. I have always had to disassemble

    What a joke, a “quick-change.” This is a flaw of the BCS. Mine is a total joke. Brand new and has never been quick.

      2nd that here. One of the most frustrating and exhausting designs ever! By the time I get the attachment changed I have to go cool off and rest for a 1/2 hour.
