I am currently reupholstering my late mother's wingchair. It is a slow process since I never knew how many staples keep the fabric and everything together. Thanks to your tutorial and others I figure if you can do it I can do it...I'm not as fast as you pro's! Thanks for showing the proper way to reupholster these (in my humble opinion) timeless chairs. The detailing is awesome, you are a wonderful perfectionist. Thank you.
I just finished upholstering a full-sized chair for the first time and am greatly pleased with the results. Without your tutorials, I know the end results would have been much different. I've developed a love for this. I greatly enjoy watching you work!
Thank you so much! I have been intimidated to reupholster a family antique chair that was well frayed but your video really helped to walk me through the process in detail. Lots of patience but it came out great. Much appreciated!
You are an artist, thank you so much for creating this video! Would you please recommend a few supply houses where I can go to buy fabric, foam, fiber, etc.
been doing upholstery for 45 years ,still like to watch videos like this you can never know to much when it comes to recovering furniture ,good job mate
You make it look like a lot easier than it is. You know the little details that we don't see until we screw up and see the things you've done quickly. I've worked my way through it thanks to you, I was using a striped material which made it a little more difficult also. Thanks for the video, there is no way I could have done it without your help. My wife loves her new chair and is already wanting me do the one in the bedroom. Of course it took me two weeks and not a half an hour like you. Of course that's due to having to pull apart and redo the screw ups. I know you sped up the video, but I'm sure you still were done in less time than me. Thanks again.
the guy is amazing and a real professional. Watching this video convinced me that I should not attempt this reupholstery job myself, but sew a loose cover for my wing chair. I am good at sewing, so this seems like a safer option. And if I don't like the result at least the chair isn't ruined .
I just got a wingback chair and I wanted to change the fabric this is the first video I came upon, thank you for explaining it step by step I know what to do now...thank you and keep the videos coming.
Hi. Reading your comment…first, how did your project turn out & second, did you use piping on the face of the arms on your chair. If so, how did you do your piping? Did you sow them together yourself? I guess one has to buy a “piping” foot for your sowing machine.
Great job, perfect finish. I do not speak English, sorry the spelling errors, I'm using google translator. Congratulations for the work and success to you.
estimates were too high with pros and i understand why!? and with so many videos and confusion in diy upholstery i lost track doing it myself and thanx to your video i was able to finish my wingback chairs! i wish you can see my results and rate my chairs. i get a lot of compliments. Thank you again.
Wow! I had no idea there was so much work involved. I wanted to do my two wing back chairs but I’ve changed my mind now after seeing this video. There is no one in town that does it reasonably. Cost is over a thousand dollars plus you buy fabric . I’ll buy a chair I guess and wait 9-12 mths to get it! Ridiculous. Education learned here. Thanks for sharing.
The chair is beautiful. I am afraid with the warp speed on the video I had a hard time following some of it. Gorgeous job. Makes it look a lot easier than it is, I'm sure.
Fantastic! This chair is one of my favorites! I have two in pink pinstripe in my living room with a very skinny light blue stripe in between the pinks, and this blue is the color of my small camel back sofa - beautiful! You are very talented! Please continue with these videos!
Wow! You make it look easy. I want to learn upholestry. Not sure if people offer classes locally. You do excellent work. Love watching your videos. Hopefully i will upholster someday.
Enjoyed your video but I know now I have to find someone to reupholster my aunts old chairs cause I know I will not attempt to do that and ruin the chairs. Lol. I have to give it to you, sir you know your craft.
I wish you slowly explain you tools 1st before you start your projects like what kind of glue you use and what kind of staple gun your using....in your hand it's look like it's very easy
Awesome video, But I have a question.. I see that this Chair used serpentine springs and sometimes I see coils springs. Is one preferred over the over or is it just preference?? You do beautiful work.
Thanks again for sharing your knowledge. I would like to learn a bit better how you cut around wood (V shape is clear but how deep or how close to the wood)?
Hey, is there any reason why you should or should not see the side pieces? So on each arm, you’ve sewed the vertical and arm pieces together, what purpose does that serve?
My work is just as meticulous, but you are probably much faster. Great stuff. I will always love this work, and really enjoy watching my fellow prows doing their thing. Bravo very n

The work looks so easy. Different style of workmanship. Beautifully done.

Excellent work. I was completely captured by this man's skills.
AMAZING. I came here to see if I could reupholster on my own, but you make me think I should leave it for a professional. Wowzers.
The square to spare has a great tutorial! They break out down and make it really simple!
you do awesome work! The chair is beautiful and I enjoyed watching you transform it.
I love the finished quality of all your work. Thank you for sharing, I'm about to try a curved wingback chair and feel much more confident.
Looks like so much work. I'll continue to leave it for the professionals lol

QUESTION:💌
Can the wing chair have more added cushion for seating? Excellent video!🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆
What kind of pneumatic staple gun do you recommend? Thank you for your videos. You are a true professional.
My cats claws would love that chair!! Hence why I’m looking at how to recover a chair.
Brilliant! How anyone could dislike I really don’t have a clue! Wish you would come and recover a Liberty chair desperate for your skills, lol.
I like the mitered corners. That looks professional.
Very nice job.
I like your Working formulation its amazing

Dude - you are awesome at what you do. Congrats.

I love it , how many yards of fabric do you used?
Es un placer verte trabajar chico. Eres un artista!!
This has been super helpful. Thank you
You make it look both easy and difficult at the same time. Easy when you do it, and very difficult if I were to try ... :)
Very nice and clean job 👌
Very neat and great work, what type of glue you use to spray your foam?
Do you have a link for the foam? Awesome video! Thanks so much. 🤗
Fantastic Job... I love it how much does it cost to reupholster that kind of wing back chair if I already have fabric for the reupholster?
I wish you slowly explain you tools 1st before you start your projects like what kind of glue you use and what kind of staple gun your using....in your hand it's look like it's very easy
Awesome video, But I have a question.. I see that this Chair used serpentine springs and sometimes I see coils springs. Is one preferred over the over or is it just preference?? You do beautiful work.

This is so satisfying to watch, especially the pleats being made!
I enjoyed watching your video, great finish, I have a similar chair would like to know how much it would cost to have it redone.
Is it a nail gun or stapler gun that's being used? It's so cleanly done. Is there a certain type you have to use.
Buenas y Bendecidas tardes como esta, muchas gracias por tus videos nos encantan a mi esposo y a mi 🙏👍
That is beautiful!! What would you charge someone to do that?

Wow I am inspired- what material did you use for the template for the facing ?
Very beautiful work, also love the material you chose.

Wish I could get you to do my chair - I have an almost identical one that was my Dads that needs doing. Keep up the great work.
Amazing! Beautiful chair! Love that fabric. How much do all the materials cost such as the foam and netting?
Totally comprehensive tutorial. Thank you.
great knowledge but one question... what Glue are you using ?
Super job! You make it look so easy. Appreciate this immensely.
Hey, is there any reason why you should or should not see the side pieces? So on each arm, you’ve sewed the vertical and arm pieces together, what purpose does that serve?
how many meters of top fabric did you use?
great job looks nice 👍
Based on the diagram, it probably was 5 to 5.5 yards of fabric
