  • In this video we show you how to reupholster a Parker Knoll Wing back armchair from start to finish. This old girl needed quite the extensive re-build so we show you the whole process step by step!
    We also use a fabric that is made out of 100% recycled plastic bottles collected from the sea...how cool is that?!

    We received this in the mail today! The packaging was fine, no damage during shipping thank goodness! The construction was very simple th-cam.com/users/postUgkxXH3jIpsn6vpr3D26KWAriUejh7CSxVp7 , the bottom rocking part and the ottoman were already put together for us which is nice!As for the actual quality, the wood seems fine.. Not too cheap but maybe not the quality you would find in a store for 400$. However, it is still sturdy and feels secure. I've only had it for one night, so of course no squeaking yet.. But if it does squeak it could be easily oiled. The cushions are comfy, and made of a suede like material. Obviously with time these cushions will probably wear and tear.. But for the price of the chair it is still worth it just to go out and buy new cushions that fit in the future.Overall I am very satisfied, I was a little worried after reading some reviews and looking through the photos, but I'm happy I bought it! Obviously it's not a heavy-duty chair, but with care I'm hoping it will last a while.

    Excellent video! My chair is 95 percent same as this with very very minor differences I just bought second hand for $100. I want to change the leg style but it looks complicated because of the way they attach. Anyway … I paused your video to check my chair and just found a $20 bill tucked down the side 😮 way to go!

      Thank you so much for watching! It will be on a section of our website (www.faceliftinteriors.co.uk) and will include full length tutorials (much more detailed than on TH-cam as it’s hard to get everything in one video in the time you have on here) from beginners level (including sewing) up to the more experienced tutorials. We want to make sure we have a good number of videos ready for the launch and then will keep adding to it as often as possible. But will let everyone know when it’s ready to launch 😊👍🏻

    Hi. Great video. I am just about to reupholstered a Parker Know sofa. Is there any problem with fire safety leaving the old fabric on the arms?

    • @faceliftinteriors
      @faceliftinteriors  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I wouldn't recommend it tbh. I have seen people go over the old fabric though, as long as your new fabric is fire treated shouldn't be a problem. 😊🙏⛏️✂️🧵📐
