  • Follow up to adding words in Bambu Studio. Currently you can only add letters to models. This is a work around.

    Can you manipulate the created font in the slicer? Or in gimp? **Manipulate> keep the font the same size, but push/squeeze the letters closer together? Or make them taller?

      Short answer is yes you can manipulate the font but each program has different uses.
      GIMP to bring the text closer
      Bambu studio manipulate the height levels of the font.
      Here is a video of the changing elevation of svg files.

    Hi! Your videos are great and have really helped my son and I learn this hobby. We are trying to create name keychains. When I convert it to an svg and upload it into maker world it just looks like one giant box and the word in then middle. What am I doing wrong? It’s like the size of the website.

      Hello. I will be delving into the maker world make my signs in a future video. I have been having mixed success with svg files on it.
      Did you create the svg file or did you get if someplace?
      Perhaps I can assist.

    When you directly import the svg into Bambu is there any way to get more variation in the height? When I import similar to what you did in the second part it's basically flat.

      Hello. Yes there is a way to vary the height on parts.

    Good morning. Do you have a video on creating models to 3d print. If you do, please send me a link. Thank you.

      Hello. There are a few videos showing how to make things with basic shapes.

      I typically cover bambu studio in general but most of my videos either cover a specific topic or combine multiple videos into a larger project video. Did you have something in mind?

    For the second part of this video would it be an alternative way of making name keychains? Instead of using a CAD program.

    • @ashleys3dprintshop
      @ashleys3dprintshop  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes you are 100% correct. Once you import that name it's just a simple shrink to size and adding a hole with a negative part.
      one of my videos shows how here.

    why not just create the svg with Illustrator? Load it and print it.

    • @ashleys3dprintshop
      @ashleys3dprintshop  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes illustrator(paid?) inkscape(free) and probably more than I can think of, can make SVG files. Vectorizer is a quick and easy way for beginners. It is not perfect as complex images will choke in the conversion but it will help those starting out.
      Great comment.
