I hate the way the market for 914s is going, I've wanted one for about 6 years and I'm just finally getting to a position where I'll be able to buy one. Oh well, I'll find one sometime. Probably wind up with a 1.7 or 1.8, I'll pull that in favour of something else and do a bunch of suspension and body work.
@@acchaladka North Carolina, we got it as a rusted out shell so I can't even fathom how much money my dad dumped into it. Find a good one that is cleanish and runs and it'll be solid
The best part is seeing the guy driving with a huge smile. Love this car.
Love these cars, very very underrated, drove one and was probably the best balanced car I have ever driven.
We had a great time cruising around this one. Super smooth!
I absolutely agree!!! I sold mine in 1984 when the gear box was gone... would love to have it back - never drove a car making so much fun since then
@@tnisc I used to own that car I reside in the LA area all of those upgrades were my idea and the wheels are 16 x 7 and the engine is a 2.4 S motor
@@cityman101 do you know how much it sold for and where it is now?
Not many people like the 914 but I think it’s so unique, me want one
I love mine, just wish it was a 6....still a blast....
First Porsche I ever rode in was a 914. Always a favorite

Well deserved my friend.
@@tnisc can’t wait for more cars like this, obscure, underdog type cars. Sleepers in a way. It’s gorgeous in that black especially. Thanks
Those roller shots are ace

@@unwelcomemotivation i would absolutely recommend it if you have the patience and the funds to see a project through
@@noahnagle1449 what kind of funds and where in the world are you located? I'm looking at a project here and asking myself budget questions.
