@@captainkirk8806 they sound like really nice dogs. How do they act around others that walk around rv parks? I personally love taking our dogs out walking seeing nature.
best ant killer is Terro, we set it up and it will be flooded with ants and next day, no more ants.... they take it to the colony and after a night of party it does what it has to do.
Oh that's perfect then! We'll look into that for sure. We got rid of them but being summer and the Eastern states, sure they'll be back! Thanks for watching 😃~Renee & Kyle
Yeap, can confirm. Use Terro at home and it is amazing! Can get it at any Lowes or Home Depot for around $4. Get the small bottle and you can put it out overnight and throw away next morning. The traps are too much money and not easy to store after they're opened. Small bottle can last you a year. Just make sure the cat doesn't get into it!
Hey Scott!! Thank you so much for this! We recently just started using Terro and it has proven to work great!! However, we need to look into getting this bottle like you mentioned. We currently have the small traps
You guys rock.. Not everybody gets that excited about dumping!!! Leave it to the Hanks to make it exciting.. Thanks for another exciting video. Happy travels
Hey Bill!! Yes, we definitely try to keep the dumping vibes exciting! 😂We really appreciate you great support and enjoy hearing from you!! Best to you Bill, talk to you again soon 😃
I have 2 grown sons, 2 daughter-in-laws & 2 Grandsons and I talk to our pups like they're children. Plus we have 3 Grandpups and I talk to them as children. Oh I also have 2 Green cheek conures that I call my baby girls.. So y'all aren't weird and it does not mean you need to have kiddos. I absolutely Love y'all. Happy travels.
Hey there!! YES!! Love this 😊🙌🏼Gotta give our fur babies the best!!! We absolutely appreciate all your support that you share, keep these wonderful comments coming!! Much love to you from the Hanks family ❤️
That is so awesome to hear! I love your profile picture by the way 😻 so stinking sweet!! Keep in touch Samantha, we really hope to hear your feedback on our other videos as well!!
To get rid of ants inside and out mix baking soda and powdered sugar 50/50 and sprinkle it where the ants are. The sugar attracts them and they take the mixture back to thier nest and they explode when they eat it so it kills them all. Safe for use around kids and animals. A small amount sprinkled where ever you find them and they're gone in hours. Love watching you guys
Hey Kerry!! Thank you so much for this amazing tip 😃🙌🏼LOVE THIS!! It's nice that it is safe around both children and pets! We will definitely try this the next time Are you currently living the RV life Kerry? 😀
Boric acid, not baking soda. The boric acid crystals are fine like dust, but with razor sharp edges. This sticks to the carapace of ants, roaches, etc. and makes hundreds of tiny cuts. Their body fluids leak out and they die. No immunity possible. The liquid filled Terro traps use a syrupy mixture of sugar waste to carry poison back to the nest the same way.
Oh my goodness...that campground...no alcohol AND the gates lock at 9pm?!?! And those sites...oh my. You guys deserve a gold star just for the parking! Dexter didn't sound thrilled either. #thankshanks for another informative yet entertaining episode!
LOL I know right!? What a combination that was!! Aww thank you so much for your awesome support 😊You mean so much to us!! Dexter wasn't super thrilled, but once his belly was full of Fancy Feast, he was loving life 😻We really appreciate you!! Talk to you again soon!
Just FYI- "Parking brake" there is no such thing as an emergency brake unless you're referring to the pedal you always stop with, however your new procedure is exactly right if you do use the parking brake. Most people in Michigan (or the North?) don't use that thing anyway lol
That's exactly what I was thinking... The parking brake is the first thing to rust and seize up. Then you'll need to cut the cable and hope it releases on it's own... Otherwise you'll be taking your wheels off to release it...
Hey Mark! Thank you so much for the insight! We really appreciate your support 😊Beautiful bike by the way, that looks like so much fun!!! (the one in your profile pic) We just recently sold our Harley Davidson
We talk to our fur babies like children… and they each have about 10 different nicknames! Also, not sure if it actually worked but we were told to put cornmeal down in the ant paths. Got that tip when we had ants… coincidentally also in Georgia
Oh good, cause Dexter also has like 10 nicknames. We say they are all his middle names! 😆I remember your cornmeal trick. We should of just did that! They ended like rolling around and having parties in the Borax! Thanks for watching! 😃~Renee & Kyle
Parking a big rig is like knowingly walking into the deep dark pits of hell. You walk in all palladin like, trying to be a positive hero but just end up walking out the other side an experienced, battle worn soldier with an attitude lol.
#E-Brake. Absolutely a must use so the the load is not on the transmission! The transmission will ❤️ you keeping the repair gremlins at bay. The worst expense to have while on the road! Something the “frugal hanks” are all about. Keep the good times rolling lol
Hey Tim!! Definitely, we are so happy to have learned this 😊We really appreciate your support! You absolutely rock! Have a great weekend friend, talk again soon 😃👋🏼
When you mentioned the levelers, we bought the same kind you roll up on. A couple of weeks ago we needed them and when we rolled up on to them they sunk. We finally got them under the wheels. When we left the campground the little wedges were buried in the dirt. The ground was a little too soft. The life of camping. You two crack me up. The look your husband gave you about you driving made me laugh. My husband used to be a trucker and he doesn’t like to be in the passenger seat.
Hey Amy!! Oh how many times we have also been in the situation as well, we know the struggle that soft dirt (we are currently parked in some) 🤣 those levelers are probably 3 feet under the ground by now LOL Yes, it must be a husband thing right? Haha! It’s so great to hear from you Amy! Other than the levelers sinking into the ground, how was the rest of the camping trip? 😀
@@HappilyEverHanks It was great. Headed to Lazy Frog Campground in Lebanon Maine this weekend for festivities. They put on a fabulous fireworks display. They have golf cart parades, bicycle parades, always activities for kids and adults. the owners are fantastic. Trying out a couple of new ones later in july one in NH and one in Maine. We go every other weekend. And then big trip to the tail of the Dragon in NC for almost two weeks in August.
That is so fantastic!! Sounds like it is an absolute blast there!! We are so happy for ya'll living it up to the fullest 😊🙌🏼Keep it up!! Much love to you from the Hanks family! We hope to hear from you again soon ❤️
"Everything was puckered ", you guys kill me!! I know about the puckered thing. I went to " Going To The Sun Road" over a year ago. Everything is STILL puckered! You guys make my day!!
Lol I live here and never thought it was that bad, until my uncle came over from the east side. He said he felt claustrophobic and that the mountains were going to fall on him.
Hanks!!! Sorry for this delayed post but i wanted to say as a boat owner we use many things to keep bugs and rodents off our boats. They can be very destructive. One boat owner told me to put Moth Balls around the access points (tires, stands, etc..). Basically, anything that touches the ground. I will tell you that worked great!!!!.... On the Trailer i use what Tara recommended (Changing Lanes) in one of their videos "Fresh Cab Botanical Rodent Repellent (4 Pack) and Stay Away Ants Repellent (4 Pack) Environmentally Friendly Pest Repellent Combo Pack". The only issue we have with these is the smell on the trailer is pungent but after your on it for a while you don't even notice it.
Oh good to know! Thank you so much for sharing! Ever since we moved locations we haven’t had as many ants! I also think we were basically parked on an ant mound! Not fun. But hey welcome to the RV life LOL ~ Renee and Kyle
We just bought our very first RV... 2021 Alliance Valor 40V13 (Toy Hauler) and I must say, we have really learned a lot from your channel. Your style, your humor, and your no BS approach was paramount in us having an issue free maiden weekend. As we gain experience, we hope to add tips and tricks to help other newbies out. The RV lifestyle is pretty cool... can’t WAIT to retire and hit the road full time. Thank you both again for your hard work and content. Keep on being you!
WOW!! You just totally made our night!! 😀🙌🏼 thank you so much for your incredible support and feedback! It’s comments like these that make this community so great We are so happy to hear that you guys had a successful maiden voyage. Where did y’all head out for your first trip? We look forward to hearing about all your adventures!
The phrase you were looking for is "Dumpin' Tanks with the Hanks" Yes, I would totally use #hanksgps I went to boarding school in South Carolina for high school, only place I've been where the word "hush" has at least four syllables.
Talking to Dexter like a child is fine, I do it all the time with my lab fur baby, Cody (104lb lab shar-pei) Whole conversations usually. Two-legged kids will come for you soon enough when you least expect it. Love love you guys.
YES!!! Georgia on my mind for sure ❤️That is so awesome to hear Karen!! You are absolutely amazing with your great support 😊🙌🏼 Keep these wonderful comments coming!! Best to you!
Make your own DD’s coffee…..cold coffee….original DD’s coffee (we use k-cups) put 1 tablespoon great value liquid chocolate or hersheys in your brewing cup add your sugar, select the 1 cup brew….. in the drinking cup add your ice to the top, pour brewed coffee over ice, stir then add your half and half…..oh so good…..oh yes , loved the GPS thing
#HanksGPS But you have to add Dad Jokes for long drives. What a great video. I think for using the Borax I would use pieces of plywood to park on so the Borax is on the plywood and not on the grass. For the landing gear I would put cheap pie tins under the levelers so the Borax will sit in the pie tin and then you can reuse them and not have to lose the Borax. Plus it would be neater. Yep, the thing on my shoulders is not just a handsome place to put a baseball cap. You can also sprinkle cinnamon around any openings inside and that will stop ants and then you aren't putting Borax around Dexter. One last tip: Make sure no leaves are touching your roof from low hanging branches. Ants will gladly enter your rig from the roof. The best thing I ever used to keep aunts away is offensive rap music. Big hugs to my two favorite RVers on the Happily Ever Hanks channel. Love you guys and Dexter too. Mac and Logan.
The added touch of the dad jokes would be awesome 🤣🙌🏼Wow you have some awesome suggestions Mac!! We were in a pinch at the time, but I wish we had this information!! Thank you for always bringing great information and tips our way ❤️ We never thought about the ants on the roof 😱We will be sure to keep an eye out for this next time! LOL Love the dad joke 😂You always bring smiles to our faces! Best to you Mac and Logan!! Stay safe - Kyle and Renee
We tried the cinnamon thing in our house kitchen once before we went to bed. The next morning, no lie, the ants had somehow removed enough cinnamon to make a clean gateway to wherever the Sam Hill they were going!
I just wanna say you guys need to write a whole “RV life hack” book on what to do and what not to do so I can buy it and read it when I’m stuck in my RV with no internet😂. Literally the BEST RV life channel with the most useful videos, even videos not based around “tips” are still helpful! Me and my husband have been binge watching all your videos in preparation before we officially move into our RV. With that being said, THANKS HANKS! 😎 On a side note- do you guys have a video of what to pack to officially “move in” including stuff like how much clothing to bring and, groceries, and all the “living essentials”
Thank you Abbie!! You guys mean so much to us! We are so happy to hear that you guys are getting ready for your big move into the RV, we can't wait to hear all about it 🤗 we don't really have a video like that that's far, but that sounds like some great content to come up with in the future 😃 much love to you guys from the Hanks family ❤️
(Repost from wrong video- Hey I make mistakes!!) There is a product called home defense from Ortho (Its a spray) that lasts a long time. Once the product is dry its safe for pets and humans. When We say lasts long time we mean MONTHS. and it can be used inside and outside!! We have NEVER had another ant problem. Safe travels! Don't look like our paths will cross anytime soon.
Hey we enjoy having the comment over here on this video!! Thank you so much for taking the time to re-post, it really means a lot!! 😃We bounce around so much, I am sure our paths will cross before we know it!! 🤗 Much love from the Hanks family!! Stay safe
#thankshanks You guys are crazy funny and spot-on with that county RV campsite experience. We’ve had both the “hill” back-in site and the “audience” on a Friday afternoon!! Our hill was UP hill with wet pavement! Had to engage 4L 4x4 to get traction in reverse…didn’t even know if that would work, but hey, it did! Welcome to Tennessee by the way!!
@@HappilyEverHanks Yes! Chickasaw State Park in the western part of TN! Otherwise, a really nice state park. We did our first stand-up paddle boarding there! Inspired by Karl & Nay Nay!!
That is so fantastic Mark!! Thank you so much for this 😁🙌🏼 We can’t wait to meet up and do some paddle boarding with y’all!!! That would be so much fun!
KEEP THE DAD JOKES COMING CARL!!!! Ps...among things you recommend to people, one thing I haven’t seen suggested, is fuses. Very simple and basic. I was moving mine last week and blew the fuse for my front jacks. Took a second to figure out what happened, but of course I didn’t have any. Fortunately we had another vehicle to go get some in or else I would have had to drag the camper with me.
YES!! Thank you David!! That is a really great tip about the fuses 😃Can never have enough of those on hand. Glad you were able to figure out the culprit of the situation. Best to you David, we really appreciate your support and look forward to hearing from you again!!
It is aways something. Our toilet just broke and of course it broke a non replaceable part. So we got a new toilet. I actually like it way better. Better seat, flushes easier, and soft close lid. So many more projects on the to do list.
Oh goodness!! So sorry to hear that you had to get a new toilet 😖Please do share with us what kind of toilet you ended up getting!! Was it one with a full flush bowl? 🤣Sorry I know...too many details, but you understand the RV life! haha!
@@HappilyEverHanks we got a dometic 310. It had that model before and we opted to stick with it for sizing reasons. It has the porcelain bowl, but the toilet seat is way better than the old one. Solid wood and soft close. The old one was cheap thin plastic. The flush pedal is way better too. Easy to push. So very happy with the new one. They must have improved the 310 since our old one was made.
This video was hilarious! Thank you for sharing. My hubby and I were watching you back up your trailer and we were wondering if you’ve ever thought about adding rear wheel casters…? We added 2 caster wheels under the rear of the trailer right near the skid plate so now when and if we enter or exit a steep driveway, it no longer drags because it rolls on the caster wheels. Our rear jacks were also lifted to the highest setting so now we just put blocks underneath them when they’re down. It’s all about ground clearance and, of course, protecting that house on wheels.
Thank you so much for your amazing support!! 😃It's so great to meet you guys! What are your names by the way? That's a really great idea about the caster wheels..we had never thought about this until you just mentioned it! Thank you so much for this!! Are they expensive to buy and install?
@@HappilyEverHanks Hi! Our names are Robert and Therese. The caster wheels are about $300 for a pair. Etrailer.com or Camping World has them and price can vary depending on Rv size. Not sure about price for install (I don’t remember). This is our 2nd Fifth Wheel that we’ve added them onto. It’s worth it for the piece of mind. The combo of the casters AND raising the rear jacks to its highest mounting point, gives that extra ground clearance that we all need. Who knows…? That could make for a great video for you guys since we haven’t seen or heard anyone else do that modification and we do follow a couple others (but you guys are our faves, of course). Be safe and have fun on your travels.
So nice to meet you Robert and Therese! This is awesome information! Thank you guys for taking the time to share it with all of us! It does sound like a great piece of mine to have while I’m on the road, we will definitely be looking into this more… It seems like a viable option for sure 😃 We truly appreciate your support and look forward to hearing from you both again soon! Have a great weekend, much love from the Hanks family 😊🙌🏼
Your videos brighten my day when I'm knee deep in housework!! Your laughter is contagious and those faces you make...hilarious! We don't have pets any more, which I miss so much, but when we did, we totally talked to them like our kids! Always! They are such a part of the family! A GPS with your voices?? Where do I sign up?? That would be so great! Keep safe out there!
Hey Lois!!! We really appreciate your amazing support 😊🙌🏼So sorry to hear about you not having any pets, do you plan on getting another fur baby soon? We will definitely start getting to work on the GPS 🤣That would be so much fun LOL Hope you have wonderful weekend Lois, talk again soon!!
Permethrin from sawyer. Available at walmart in the camping section.. its for treating clothes and is semi permanent. Bonds to what you spray. Its what the millitary uses to treat their BDU's
Yes I talk to my dog Heidi like my child. My kids are grown and gone so she is my special baby now. Love her company and she is my best travel buddy so accommodating and happy with how I do things🥰
Dallas!! Your dog Heidi sounds absolutely adorable 😊Gotta love our fur babies right? They are so special ❤️We are so happy for you and really enjoy hearing from you! Hope to talk to you again tonight!!
I just love your videos, I laugh so much I cry. Me and my wife Deanna just started your RV full time life this week.I was a Truck Driver for 40+ years so getting the rig around is not the hard part for me. Deanna was a RN for 40+years so she can relate to you to.Hope to see you all one day in are Adventures.Keep the great videos coming. # FUNNY HANKS
Thank you so much! We would all have so much to relate with together! Hope to meet up one day! So glad we can make y’all laugh! Safe travels! ~Renee & Kyle
Howdie guys! Talkin about dumpin is well, you know but i agree dumping at a lot of these free city/state places is really cool. North of the border here in quebec, a bunch of cities/municipalities have designated places, free, exactly to do this. + often these spots are nicer than at camp sites. All cement, paved, plenty of room. So true. Weird talkin about shit so much but hey, was fun
Hey Kyle!! That is so awesome to hear that you also have free places up your way 😃👍🏼Love a really nice and free dump site, that is so sweet! LOL I know right?! 🤣Always great hearing from you! We are slowly making our way north as we speak. Catch up with you again soon man! Cheers!
Hey Don!! We are so happy Carl didn't get lost either 🤣I haven't noticed it thus far, but we recently just got it activated as well...I will be sure to keep an eye on it and try to updated you on our findings! 😃
I had a campsite like that at Pigeon Forge, trying to get into. And I too had an audience. Luckily, other than the emergency brake cable getting tangled and pulling out and stopping the backup, I was able to get our 42' fiver in there, lol.
You can’t beat travel days I tell you. Ours was good, setup a little tough as well but it’s been a great week so far. Go home Sunday night and leave again Thursday for the holiday. Man I love this live!
We talk to our pets like kids we bought an RV for them, lol. Dexter sounds like our cat smokie when the RV is moving, he hides under the passenger front seat as soon as it stops moving, he pokes his head out looking like "is it safe". boric acid in a water solution works as well.
Oh good to know! Thanks so much! Dexter and Smokie sound like they could be friends! Appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment! 😃~Renee & Kyle
Omg! Totally had this experience today! Our site was so un-level that our front tires came off the ground about 1 full foot! We had to use every leveling trick in the book to get the rig “level” lol. Thank you for this video. I feel like we are not alone and I needed this today.
I live in a mobile home and get ants once in awhile. I use the terro liquid ant baits for the ants. They go in there and get the liquid and it poisons them. They then don’t leave it. It’s clear so you can see when it’s full and throw it away. I put it in my cabinets, by the kitchen sink, and by the stove and wherever else I see them. Usually I don’t see anymore within a week, sometimes less. I highly recommend them. Love y’all’s videos! I’m new to RVing. Just bought my first hybrid travel trailer last week. About to take it on my first road trip in a few hours. So exciting! Stay safe in the roads! Keep the videos coming, I’m learning a lot!
@@HappilyEverHanks try diatomaceous earth. Cheap & safe. I leave water caps filled with it in inconspicuous places. Great for most bugs & ants. You can get it at gardening centers, etc. we live in a 5th wheel when not traveling. & bugs can be a battle. Borax is great out side. I poke holes in the plastic lid of a coffee can so I can shake it on the ground. Hope to see you on the road someday!
Hey Allen!! Thank you so much for this!! 😃🙌🏼What a great idea this is! We would love to meet you on the road one day as well, that would be so much fun!! Keep these wonderful comments coming Allen, we really appreciate your support 😊👍🏼
@@HappilyEverHanks Diatomaceous earth (DE) is not only inexpensive and effective; it's non-toxic to kids, birds, and pets. And yet it destroys ants, earwigs, slugs, beetles, ticks, fleas, cockroaches, and bed bugs. ... DE is made up of crushed fossilized skeletons of diatoms and algae.
This is really great information Allen!! We will definitely be looking into this, thank you so much for sharing! It’s nice having a non-toxic product to work with especially around “Dex man” 😀👍🏼
#HANKSGPS I use diatomaceous earth around the jacks, water, sewer and electrical. Works great and then I spray inside with Zevo natural as it is pet safe.
Thank you so much 😊That's a great idea!! I have never heard of these products, but they sound fantastic! Especially being pet safe and all. Thank you for sharing!! Have a great weekend!
We stopped at Rest Area No. 22 on I-75 Southbound just north of Macon Georgia. They had a nice FREE GA dump station at the back of the rest area. It was nice and shady with not a lot of traffic. I recently had to adjust my Emergency brake on my 2015 GMC Sierra 3500HD. I would apply it but, it wouldn't work to well. Even if I did apply the emergency brake before putting the truck in park. It is better now but, I think I am going to adjust it a little more. I hear ya, on parking it on a hill!!! We have an 50 AMP extension cord but have only use it at home with out 50 AMP outlet. We use Taurus SC effective against Ants, Beetles, Black Widow Spiders, Box-elder Bugs, Brown Recluse Spiders, Centipedes, Cluster Flies, Cockroaches, House Crickets, Millipedes, Pill Bugs, Silverfish, Termites. We use it around our home and on the stabilizers, axles and ground contact points on our GD Reflection. We never have any bugs anymore, since we started using it. Westminster, SC is a nice area. Hopefully you went to Stumphouse Tunnel and Issaqueena Falls Waterfall in nearby Walhalla. Lake Jocassee and Keowee would be great places to take the paddleboards. I could go on and on about places in that area.
Thank you so much for all the feedback! We really appreciate you bringing all of this knowledge to our channel 😃 sounds like you have a great system for taking care of all those critters! We are loving the free dump stations in Georgia they need to do that everywhere! Any plans for this weekend? ~Renee & Kyle
Furbabies all the way and yes I talk to my for babies all the time… And for some reason they have the need to talk back. 🙄 oh and it’s it for you Renee, take your leftover hot coffee and put it in silicone ice cube trays you can make yourself frappe is out of the iced coffee. It’s so good😋
What an awesome idea! Thanks Stephanie! We're always looking to try something new! Dexter and I just finished having our morning conversations! Have a great weekend! 😃~Renee & Kyle
Hey guys…Hershey was fun! Rocky start to the wknd…costly but educational….lessons learned. Keep your cool and take care of business. Keep rolling on!!! Stay safe out there!!
@@HappilyEverHanks not too serious. I dug my way out…by HAND but I know what I did wrong lol that’s all that matters!!! Shovel’s are on the way 😂 strongly recommend having something with you in case you ever get stuck! Are you making your way west or back up the east coast?
That’s good!! At least you know now 😊🙌🏼 sounds like a memorable time for sure haha! Glad you are safe 😀 We are making our way back up the east coast currently (slowly, but surely)
You guys are a breath of fresh air! Pure laughter for the soul. I think the name implies everything "fur babies" so baby talk allowed and encouraged. #HanksGps i see only one downfall with this idea most of us would be laughing to hard and miss turns and whatnot....just saying
Hey Troy!! Thank you so much 😊Your support means everything to us and you bring us such joy reading your comments!! Love that you like the idea of the GPS 🤣That would be a hoot!! Have a great weekend Troy! We look forward to talking to you again soon!
Another great video. Got a couple tips for you. Now that you have the extension cord pick up a dog bone that allows you to use it when you're close to the electric post then you don't have to handle the BIG one. Also, consider getting a RecPro macerater and set it up with hose for dumping. Makes set up for dumping much easier and saves us time. We don't have to pull out the sewer hoses anymore. Great message for pet safety. We use Govee for pets and our frig. Love the peace of mind. Loving ❤ your channel!
Aww thank you so much for your continued support 😊🙌🏼 I have never heard of a RecPro macerater, what is this exactly?? How do ya'll enjoy the Govee? Are you happy with that product? 😃
My friend bought a macerator for her Grand Design and it made a huge difference for her dumping. Blew me away 😳, I owned two RVs years ago and had never heard of such a thing. . Now, I intend to get one also since I’m handicapped and handling a huge hose is just not easily done like I could in my twenties 😘
@@HappilyEverHanks We custom made our setup. Chose RecPro because they have a 3 year warranty and cost 1/2 as much. Lol. We put the whole setup in a bag and pull it out when we get to the dump and hook it up. Here is the video we did, but remember as I said before we are not pros. Lol. We also added a 12volt plus that is easier to get to since this video that makes it even easier: th-cam.com/video/7U2TtpyfERk/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/7U2TtpyfERk/w-d-xo.html
Hanks!!!! This is so weird... I felt like i was living your experiences only weeks after you. Went to a Jeep rally this weekend and had to park on a slop. I couldn't use my back door because it was so far off the ground..... The water was one faucet with multiple splitters that 6 to 8 RVs would have to share. Luckily i brought my own water.... and the dump station was located on the far side of the campground, access was on the wrong side for most if not all RVs and i got stuck trying to pull into it. Luckily i was with Jeep owners who executed a recovery (wenched me up to the station). The road to the campground was winding, narrow and half dirt (very ruff). Kyle did you consider using some of you levelers under the stairs. Loved your new phrase..... "Hanks love a good Dump".
Wow it sounds like you were in a sticky situation with all that as well! Sounds like a great time being at the Jeep rally nonetheless!! Glad you thought ahead and brought your own water, that is always a lifesaver when you need at the most. I can only imagine seeing you’re set up with your back door 5 feet off the ground 🤣😂🙌🏼 Didn’t think about the levelers under the stairs, but sure glad we had some rocks there to suffice! Overall did you guys have a good time at the Jeep rally? 😀
@@HappilyEverHanks Great time!!! Nothing Broke!!! .... Watch a rock crawler challenge. One of our friends tried to climb the rocks with her stock Jeep (it has been modified but not for rock crawling) and almost made it. Oh and the first female to ever try the challenge. Her boyfriend's only fear was her rolling it. The body is in great shape and that could cause a lot of damage. The jeep has a roll cage, they do wear helmets and shoulder harness. If i can get good videos i will try to send you a few.
That sounds absolutely awesome! She sounds like a pro! 😎🙌🏼 good for her!!! So glad y’all had a great time, it sounds like a really fun environment to be around. I’m sure all the Jeep people are a cool crowd to hang with!
LOL we left the last episode on a cliffhanger!! So we wanted to bring it back and ease it into this weeks episode 😊Thank you so much Paul!! We really appreciate your continued support!
Hey Julie!! That is awesome to hear! Glad you guys know of this 😃We are a little slow on the roll if ya know what I mean lol 🤣 It's so great hearing from you again, we are wishing you the best!! Can't wait to talk again soon!
We spray raid or some bug spray on the all the tires, jacks, cords and hoses that are touching the ground. Do this as soon as we set up. Always as been a win.
Absolutely love you guys!!!! I can't get enough of your videos, thank you so much for just being yourselves!!!! Praying you all have your best days ahead of you!!! Let-er-rip!!!
I used to buy those iced coffee drinks until I read the ingredients. First one is instant coffee. Now I make them with instant coffee. Add a touch of water so the coffee hydrates then milk and sugar to taste and you are done for pennies a glass. And you can also get flavoured instant coffee to mix it up!
Hey Darren!! Thank you so much for your wonderful support!! Love the tips that you have listed here..your coffee game is strong 😎 Keep these awesome comments coming!!!
Seriously enjoying your show. #ThanksHanks We are picking up our new motorhome...tomorrow! There are probably a ton of things I should be doing, but we're just gonna roll with it. Safe travels. #SeeYouAroundSometime
Thank you very much James! We are so happy for you guys! 😃🙌🏼Yes, just roll with it!! We hope to continue to hear from you on other videos as well, it's been great talking!
Oh geez, I felt like I was right there with you waiting to see if your rig was going to fit! I have to admit it sounds a little bit like an episode of the Twilight Zone with the fact that the gates lock at 9 o’clock.
Yes! We did feel a little trapped! I guess that is common for SC and GA campgrounds to lock their gates at night with no code. They said it would be $50 to unlock for non emergent reasons but the ambulance crew has a key if it is a medical emergency! What about a late ice cream run?? lol Thanks for watching! ~Renee & Kyle
We will be trying our first time adventure soon. We are moving from California to Montana and will be full time RV living until we find our roots in Montana. Thank you for emulating funny adventures, because we know how stressful it can be.
This is so fantastic to hear 😃Montana is such a beautiful state!! Oh my goodness we are so happy for your guys Kristee!! We hope that we can meet you guys out on the road one day soon! What kind of RV will ya'll be traveling in?
OMG we just went to that rest stop last week driving to Missouri, well not sure what direction your going. But I seen that dump station and laughed as I thought of you's
You guys are awesome. Always with that great sense of humor. I really wish you the best always. God bless my friends. I don’t know you personally but some day. Be careful on the road.
Hey Angel!! Thank you so much for your amazing support, you mean so much to us 😊Wishing you the best as well, you are genuinely really kind and reading your comment bring us a lot of smiles 🙂Hope you stay safe, we look forward to hearing from you again soon!! Cheers Angel!
Great video again. I look forward to your videos every week. #ThanksHanks for the tank dump cliffhanger! Also, please check your trailer tires - they are looking a little worn.
Thank you so much!! Glad the dump cliffhanger worked out 🤣We definitely noticed the uneven wear on our tires, we need some new ones ASAP! We really appreciate you bringing it to our attention 🙂Have a great weekend!! Talk again soon!
Wow, guys, I don’t know where to begin! There’s a lot of 5-star goofiness going on here….⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Dumping with the Hanks….two thumbs up! Should you have kids? My advice-wait. Keep having fun. You’ll know when it’s right. Most awesome part? Body puckering!! 😂😂 I just love yr videos! Take care my friends!
We have had three pieces of trim fall off in our Solitude. One of the bedroom slide side trim, the frame around the nose window and the bottom slide trim below the fridge... We invested in a battery powered Brad Nailer...
Hey Chris and Trinity! Yes the trim around our bedroom window (nose) also fell off and we have wanting to fix it for a while now! We need one of those Nail guns as well! ~Renee & Kyle
#HankxGPS I think this is a great idea ... and your humor is THE BEST! Plus I don't feel as alone with all the Dad jokes. By the way, your talking to the fur babies like they are real babies ... it's absolutely a sign your getting ready for even greater levels of misery ... I mean joy.
Hey Scott!! We really appreciate you!! Thank you so much for the awesome support 😊🙌🏼Dad jokes for the win!! LOL LOL 🤣Your comments are hilarious...PLEASE keep these coming in more videos to come!!! Take care Scott, talk again soon
We live 15 miles from that rest area. There is also a dump station at the I-20 west at the state line with SC just before exit 200 and the Pilot. We are about 1/4 mile from there.
Keep it real! Love the ideas like waggle. You guys are so entertaining. Can’t imagine if you guys work the same unit together. Keep the staff in stitches
Kyle, you and Renee could have a TV show. Yea works been busy. We are down several nurses. REACH has also been OOS because no nurses. So I’m covering quite a bit last few weeks. 14-15 hour shifts. Not happy, until I watch one of your videos. Did you get your rig back yet?
Oh my goodness! I can’t believe REACH is even out of service 😨 Goodness, you must be so busy!! Not yet! Stay safe, we hope to catch up more with you soon friend 👋🏼 Also, if you meet any partners or co workers that might enjoy our sense of humor and craziness… send them our way!! We would love to have more health care professionals Subscribe along for the journey 😎🙌🏼 Stay safe Loyd!!
I swear... There's way too many Reflections being pulled by white trucks.. last week I thought I seen you not far from Kansas city, and now I just seen another by Des Moines.. man, you both cover allot of ground... 😂...
@@HappilyEverHanks no kidding... Every time I see the combo coming at me (their always going the opposite direction 🙄) I have 3 seconds to do the Hanks check list.... Reflection ✔️, White truck "D" ✔️, two people inside ✔️.... I just don't have enough time to look for Dexter in the back seat! 🤣... Some day next year for sure... When we hit the road next June, were starting out in Montana for the first contract, and then hopefully heading to Florida for the winter. I'll be hitting you both up on your hide-out's down there. I really liked the river you paddle boarded with the monkeys.. I totally want to do the same! Luv you guys.. 🍷's on me when we meet up😁
We got second round Tim!! You betcha that we will have lots to talk about when we meet up 😃🙌🏼Montana will be absolutely beautiful for you guys!! You guys would LOVE that Silver Springs as well! P.S. Dexter is ALWAYS just sleeping in the back, he is easy to miss in passing 🤣Best to you Tim!! Talk again soon
We are not even full time RV people, but we love watching you both! And you have a kitty like we do! We are just weekend warrior’s. But since we are almost retired it is going to be Sunday thru Thursday only! That’s a good idea because in August we will be out camping in our small trailer and will have no electricity! I will get one of those tonight! You know the fur baby! Love you guys!
Lisa!! This is so awesome to hear 😊Oh my goodness!!! What is the name of your kitty?? 😻 Love that ya'll are living it up to the fullest on your own time until retirement!! WAY TO GO!!! Yes, we have found so much peace of mind having ours, it's nice knowing that Dexter is safe! He is our baby for sure ❤️
I’ve had cats since I was born! Just lost the best cat I’ve ever had. But I rescued a feral female three years ago that was pregnant. Two kittens survived and were adopted out. No one wanted her at the rescue center so I took her back and we have finally simmered her down where she doesn’t bite you as much! She is a rough player though but she doesn’t mean to hurt most of the time! Ha! Her name (don’t laugh 😆 SnowBall) her nickname is SnowPuff! My husband names them because I keep feeding them and then finally he names them and I know then their ours! Ha!
Aww we are so sorry to hear this about your cat 😰Love the name SnowBall ❤️and a nickname as well?! LOVE THIS!! Dexter has like 8 nicknames 😂You sound like wonderful people, we hope that we can meet you guys one day soon! Keep these wonderful comments coming Lisa!! We hope that we can continue to hear from you on our other videos, your support means so much 🤗
You two are crazy, and I love every minute of it! 😂✌️😂 BTW, I was a cat Daddy for 35 years and it was so much better than human kids. My cats never asked me for college tuition, never had to bail one of them out of jail, and they weren't afraid to move around the country and back. 😎
Hey Marquis!! Thank you so much for your wonderful support!! 😃🙌🏼 LOL your comment just has us rolling 🤣You are too funny! Are you currently living the RV life?
@@HappilyEverHanks We live in a 41 foot 5th wheel, but travel in a Stryker 30 foot toy hauler. For boondocking and national parks, it fits better than the 5th wheel.

You two are so funny! #happilyeverdumps 😂 We definitely talk to our fur baby as if she is our child. PS - thanks for the tip about placing your truck in neutral before applying the e brake. Looking forward to more videos on “the TH-cam.” 😊
Hey Crystal!! Thank you so much 😃🤣We really appreciate your support!! Love that ya'll have a fur baby! What is her name? 😊 So glad we can be of help with the e brake! It was fun for us to learn as well. We use it all the time now!

Yea my wife talks to the dogs.Lol no pregnancy haha don’t enjoy the traveling lol
I'm a Dog person and yes i talk to them all the time. My part Corgi tries to talk back!!!!
Oh my goodness you must have an adorable dog!!!! What is his or her name?
@@HappilyEverHanks The one (part Corgi part Australian sheep ) is Snickers and the other (miniature dachshund) is Hurley.
You guys have got to be my favorite people to watch when it comes to RVing,
You'll be awesome parents. Don't wait too long. This world needs more children of wonderful people like y'all.
The look on Carl's face when he said that the roof fell. Check it out. HILARIOUS
🤣Guess I (Renee) should have clarified right away that it is not indeed the roof! lol Thanks for watching! ~Renee & Kyle
We have 4 cats and they are our children. We all work hard so our fur babies can live a great comfortable life.
Ain't that the truth! Thanks Samantha! You said it so perfect! Do they all get along?? ~Renee & Kyle
@@HappilyEverHanks for the most part they do, thankfully! We started with 1 and then just kept rescuing them.
We will definitely try this the next time
Are you currently living the RV life Kerry?
That is such a great way to put it! Thank you for watching! 😃~Renee & Kyle
Hey Amy!! Oh how many times we have also been in the situation as well, we know the struggle that soft dirt (we are currently parked in some) 🤣 those levelers are probably 3 feet under the ground by now LOL
Yes, it must be a husband thing right?

Lol I live here and never thought it was that bad, until my uncle came over from the east side. He said he felt claustrophobic and that the mountains were going to fall on him.
Oh my Gary! Yes it can get very steep and I imagine it could be claustrophobic

Thanks for the tip!
Thank you for always bringing great information and tips our way ❤️
We never thought about the ants on the roof 😱We will be sure to keep an eye out for this next time!
Maybe they were making cappuccinos.
😂😄 love you guys!! Y’all make us laugh!!
5%sevin dust, Walmart garden center.
Sprinkle around everything that touches the ground. Terro ant bait traps inside.

On a side note- do you guys have a video of what to pack to officially “move in” including stuff like how much clothing to bring and, groceries, and all the “living essentials”
Thank you Abbie!! You guys mean so much to us!
It does sound like a great piece of mine to have while I’m on the road, we will definitely be looking into this more… It seems like a viable option for sure 😃

I had a campsite like that at Pigeon Forge, trying to get into. And I too had an audience. Luckily, other than the emergency brake cable getting tangled and pulling out and stopping the backup, I was able to get our 42' fiver in there, lol.
Nice job! Hopefully someone offered you a cold one after or at least a high five! Thanks for watching 😃~Renee & Kyle
You two are great and make learning about Rv’ing fun. Another great video!! Safe Travels.
Thanks Kerry!
You can’t beat travel days I tell you. Ours was good, setup a little tough as well but it’s been a great week so far. Go home Sunday night and leave again Thursday for the holiday. Man I love this live!
Sounds so nice! Thanks for sharing 😃A great life for sure! ~Renee & Kyle
Love that at the point where you’re talking about harvest hosts and you’re at Peggy Sues I seen one of my friends trucks in the backround
Oh no way!! That is so awesome 😎 What a small world right? Stay safe out there friend!

Aww Angela!!! Thank you so much!! 😊🙌🏼 You just made our day!! ❤️We hope you have a wonderful weekend and we look forward to talking to you again soon!
Omg! Totally had this experience today! Our site was so un-level that our front tires came off the ground about 1 full foot! We had to use every leveling trick in the book to get the rig “level” lol. Thank you for this video. I feel like we are not alone and I needed this today.
Ugh the leveling can be such a headache! But much better than sleeping on top of each other in a not fun way lol Thanks for sharing! 😃~Renee & Kyle
Try some Terro for ants. You would have to put it somewhere Dex can't get to it. IT WORKS AMAZING!
Good to know! Thanks Laurel! You get a bunch of ants in MI?? We gotta prepare I guess! Lol Thanks for watching! 😃~Renee & Kyle
Great driving! You guys....you make laugh every time. Love your subscriber jump!
Aww thank you so much ❤️You mean so much to us with your awesome support!! Much love from the Hanks family 😊👋🏼Have a great weekend!!
Yes. Ants do not want to cross over chalk lines. This fact provided hours of fun when I was a kid.
Yes!! Totally true, thank you so much for sharing Ronald 😃 Cheers to you!
How would you rate that specific Dump “site” on the Bristol stool scale??
Hey Michael!! 🤣This is the ultimate question of the night!! We can go with that 😂🙌🏼
We stopped at Rest Area No.

I teach driver ed and I teach my students to engage the parking brake before putting the car in park. I explain it the same way you did.
This is wonderful to hear! Thank you for you great feedback and sharing this with us :) We hope to hear from you again soon, cheers!
You two are addicting. So much Hilarious content.
James!! Thank you so much for your awesome support! Are you currently living the RV life? 😀
Yes! Agreed!
Hey guys…Hershey was fun! Rocky start to the wknd…costly but educational….lessons learned. Keep your cool and take care of business. Keep rolling on!!! Stay safe out there!!
Hey Kim!! That is so fantastic to hear 😊We cant wait to come back to Hershey again soon! Anything serious? Hope you guys are doing well ❤️
@@HappilyEverHanks not too serious.
Glad you are safe 😀
We are making our way back up the east coast currently (slowly, but surely)
You guys are a breath of fresh air! Pure laughter for the soul. I think the name implies everything "fur babies" so baby talk allowed and encouraged. #HanksGps i see only one downfall with this idea most of us would be laughing to hard and miss turns and whatnot....just saying
Hey Troy!! Thank you so much 😊Your support means everything to us and you bring us such joy reading your comments!! Love that you like the idea of the GPS 🤣That would be a hoot!! Have a great weekend Troy! We look forward to talking to you again soon!

#HanksGPS I really want to hear the GPS voice for Free Dumps #HanksDumpedHere
Yes! We will have to get on that 😆 Thanks Jon! ~Renee & Kyle

Hey David!! That would be awesome 🤣🙌🏼Thank you so much for your awesome support!! Are you currently living the RV life? 😃
I can only imagine seeing you’re set up with your back door 5 feet off the ground 🤣😂🙌🏼
Didn’t think about the levelers under the stairs, but sure glad we had some rocks there to suffice!
@@HappilyEverHanks Sent some email shares. Let me know if it works.... Sorry the one is sideways don't know how to fix it.
