The internationally acclaimed resort Sun City is actually few metres away from Bakubung lodge.The two resorts are less than 40 kilometres from Rustenburg. I have been visiting these reorts regularly for more than thirty years and I can't get enough of them.They are great entertainment and real value for money

True Doc 'Tasha. The stars are in their glory in the bushes where there's no light pollution. You can even see the band of our milky way galaxy. Absolutely breath taking.

Fun Facts ;BAKUBUNG is SOTHO/TSWANA name for HIPPO !! which translates to! Land of People who Venerates!! The( HIPPO ) -HIPPO is called ( KUBU) thus People of the HIPPO or BA - KUBUNG.
We visited Bakubung Lodge and had an amazing time. Saw Rhinos, Elephants, Zebra and Wildebeests. Awesome and it is very close to Sun City. My ONLY ISSUE WAS THE FOOD!!! NOT IMPRESSIVE at all. The rooms are gorgeous and the pool is clean, inviting, family friendly, children’s area is well appointed and has lots of trees that offer shade. The food though. Please send show us pics of the buffet area.. I am hoping they have improved.
