it is so sad thay Toby Keith passed away on February 5th 2024. It looked like he was doing better. It wasn't meant to be. In his last interview he looked so frail. The treatments sometimes can be worse than the cancer. I just finished treatment last July. I have a lot of problems since then. At least Toby is not in pain anymore. I wish that could have been around for a long time. God is in control. May he bring his family comfort during this difficult time.

Oh my gosh! This was such a huge shock to me. He was so young. I'm always shocked by what cancer can do to a person. I don't follow any entertainment news, so I had no idea he was even sick. One of the greats has left us to fight the good fight on our own. I'm so grateful he left us with a wonderful collection of music to dance to and lift us in dark times.

I was so shocked that he left us but I was glad that he got to be with his family on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's. But didn't quite make it to Valentine's Day.
The mold was broken when he was born. What a singer and songwriter! May he rest in peace. Deepest condolences to his family 🙏
I love Toby. I met him when he was just starting out he came to my tiny Texas town. He was really humble and a very kind person. I talked about him so much my niece thought he was my actual boyfriend. I had to explain that he was a singer that was gonna go far. Far did he go.
As soon as I heard we lost Toby, this song started going through my head. Rest in peace Toby🙏

I love most of Toby Keith songs this song love me if you can reminds me so much of my husband Joe he served 1996 to 2018 usmc retired I am so proud of my husband and all the help he gave he’s a hell of a man that would bend backwards to help a total stranger out if needed Joe’s been awarded the Purple Heart twice over his 22 years I thank god everyday for bringing my husband home he’s been through a lot injuries he suffered none of know or can figure out how he’s still alive being shot 3x 2 in his back 1 in his right shoulder and surviving a ied blast that burned 30% of his body I love the man he is I see how much Joe hurts everyday he still gets up goes to work he’s basically trying to stay busy I see the pain he goes through and have spent many nights up with him from his nightmares fighting ptsd and I still by my husband the father of our daughters help him however I can I Will always love you Joe no matter where life takes us I will be by your side until god takes you home a simple thank you doesn’t even begin to say it for everything you have done I hope you enjoy your day bday love you always Jessie

Unfortunately music with lyrics are not in fashion anymore, nor country music. I love this music just because it has a message, not just "bumtzi-bumtzi" and lot of noise. Ten Cd's with new music doesn't have that much lyrics as this song, and none of them has this message. Sad, but true. Love country music, from Romania.
