So nice to hear the crowd singing along this forgotten gem. I know they hated the October album and it's really not their best, but this song has such a vibe, they shouldn't have stopped playing it.
Yes, absolutely - It was a very good night Patricia. 👍Glad you enjoyed the show. Thanks for taking a look at the video and for letting us know you were actually there that night. Cheers!
Thanks Gabi for your kind words. Glad you liked this video. These were great shows in Dublin that week. The audience certainly had a powerful voice and that really makes it special too. 👍
Hi Karen. Yep, the guys did really well over the 4 nights. Glad you enjoyed the show and Dublin :-) Appreciate your comment and that you took time to check out the video. All the best.
You're welcome Andrew. Glad you like the video. It was a very well performed and received song on the night and I think (hope) this video captures the energy in both the band and audience. Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment here.
@@andrewholden9180 Thanks very much Andrew. I in turn also am very grateful to all the others who filmed their own footage and shared it with us all in TH-cam. Its not lost on me that none of what I'm able to edit together (and I thoroughly enjoy doung it) would be even possible without all the others and their wonderful personal footage. I'll always be grateful and acknowledge them as they play a crucial part in facilitating the multicamera edits. 👍
Thank you David for your kind words of support. You're most welcome. Really happy you like the video. Cheers for your comment and for taking time to have a look at the clip.

Bono says "Jesus died for somebody's sins". Probably a reference or nod back to the different 1975 song of the same name (written by Van Morrison and originally recorded by the band called Them in 1964) which Patti Smith subsequently recorded in 1975 for her album called Horses. Her version was only based on Van's tune and she only kept the chorus part and had different lyrics. Patti had a spoken intro part to her version of Van's song, where she says "Jesus died for somebody's sins, but not mine". I think that is what Bono is referencing when he utters the words "Jesus died for somebody's sins" at the end of U2's song called Gloria. Just my opinion and I may be wrong. Hope this might help you. 👍🎩
After 35 years, to be able to create the energy force they do here with this song, its absolutely remarkable.
Also great drumming and 👍
This is one of their very best songs. Gloria In te Domine Gloria Exultate.
U2 video of “Gloria” on MTV made me (I mean “made me”) a U2 fan for “LIFE” 👍👍
Badass bass 👍
Last horrah here from bono vocally a real good stab at it

Flipo con el virtuosismo de The edge. Madre mía como toca la guitarra.
Think about it: There had to be a few kids in the audience who were in the crowd of the video they shot down on the barge in 1981.
Fun fact : The 3 Arena is literally 300 meters far from grand canal docks !
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

What are the last few things he says at the end?
