Jeff is a senior at Yale double majoring in Computer Science and East Asian Studies with a concentration on China. He has served as a Student Ambassador to the Yale Admissions Office, written extensively about college admissions on Quora and has taught courses on motivation, passion, and leadership while sponsored by the US Embassy in Tokyo.

This is a very cool writing strategy, but regardless it’s important that your essay is authentic to your character and interests. Top universities, especially any university that conducts interviews, can generally tell if you simply seek prestige or have real desire to learn and grow.

I'd honestly try to read 10-12 successful examples! And I'd also read some really bad ones to boost your confidence too!
