@@angelsteward333 They can be extremely clingy my little guy isn’t actually that noisy, he seems to have to much enrichment in his cage and spends his time destroying things instead of screaming aha!
Our green cheek lives outside in our back patio within the pool cage. The only time ours is locked in the cage is at night. All summer it lives and sleeps outside. In the house when we are home.
I have a Jenday and a green cheek. My Green cheek has more constant noise and really weird high frequency noise. My Jenday noise is ear piercing and you can hear him from really far away. My Jenday is way more loveable. Green cheek likes to fly into ur face.
@@agomodern I think in most cases, some birds have different personalities I feel like it will always be a louder Conure. All I can recommend is having a lot of toys and enrichment in its cage to keep it busy and make sure it’s on a well maintained diet!
sir iam gonna buy a conure, in india sun conure is expensive. So iam gonna go with green cheek conure . My question is, are they both equally smart? or the sun conure is smarter
@@iampnkj7031 I would say the Sun Conure is a little bit smarter, but not by alot! Sun Conures are faster at learning things but I dont think they can talk as good as a Conure can.
From my experience and a friend's experience, I have to disagree. We've had both types of conures and found the green cheeks to be much more curious and better problem solvers than the sun conures. One of our green cheeks even learned how to make a tool! Another could solve color discrimination tests. Green cheeks seem to enjoy exploring more and trying to figure things out. And they learn quickly. The sun conures though were just as cuddly with us - or I should say more needy. And they are much more beautiful.
I dont know, my SC is not messy. Actually his cage is pretty clean compared to it to my cockatiels. But the noise is at the next level and they really a destroyer!!! My SC is not calm at all hahahah
Nice video. I was thinking about getting a green cheek conure but i already have 8 budgies. Cleaning their cages everyday, cleaning the floor etc just so tiring. Love the cuteness in albino and lutino budgies, head bouncing and female budgies argue sound. Love cockatiel whistling sound but afraid of the dust and dander. Maybe i should get a canary. Love chubby canaries. You have a girlfriend...... didn't see that coming 😂. Judging from the way you speak, i thought...... Never mind lol.
They both live around 25-30 years in perfect conditions, which whether there environment is 110% perfect I’m not sure about but I’m estimating 20ish years!

@@AaronLewisOfficial It has definitely stopped being so loud.
My green cheek bites very hard. I have the scars from her bites. That said, she is really sweet.
