Seriously reminiscing. I still have a boxed IR3 Ice blue to silver dust fade, one off specially made for me by Ricey himself at WDP. Had to wait months for them to get the anodising right. I put less than a case through it !
Soooo lol... that angel was either sent/worked on by warped sportz, to put a wicked air sportz board and the eyes. Was going to do it in 03 with my speed lol sold it, got a timmy. Great vid!
I have now restored almost all of my old angels. I have brought back to life 3 LCD's, and an IR3 all thanks to inspiration from my youtube buddy paintballTech. Thank u Tim and I also have a few more markers I would love to restore so when its time I have a really qik question or two for ya just so I can get a better direction on what I need to do
@@PaintballTek what do you think of an Angel A4 fly? I was thinking about purchasing one and possibly rebuilding it however I am not a tag and do not know if this is going to be a very difficult task or not, and also overall what do you think of the gun?
@@PaintballTek also what marker would you invest in now in the paint fault market and why? One last question for now about the angel which board would you invest in and why would you invest in that particular board, such as virtue, predator, enoch?
@@hanspuffer5681 I really enjoy the A4 Fly platform, it was one of my main tournament markers that I played with for a few years actually until I got my A1. That being said, most of them are fairly rock solid shooters still and perform well to this day, unfortunately the parts for them are becoming few and far between for availability BECAUSE they were such a popular marker...finding cup seals, rams, LPR's, solenoids, etc is usually a hunt if you have something go wrong with one of those parts. That's speaking strictly from a tech PARTS standpoint though...as for the marker as a whole, they are as easy to work on as any of the other models of angel from that era, the main difference is having to be careful with the ribbon eyes so you don't tear/break them when working on the system. This can be avoided by getting a set of wired eyes which I believe are still being made by one of the guys in the Angel community. For boards, I have always been a huge fan of the Predator boards from way back in the day, they are still amazing and the programming is simple (at least to me) and the coding makes the marker shoot quite nicely. The PPE Board is basically a newer version of an LED programmable board like the predator, but no less powerful. I haven't had a chance to tinker with one of these boards yet, but i do have 2 on order so I should be able to give a better opinion soonish on this. People I know who have used the PPE boards do say they like them though and for the price it's a great option. Enoch is the other new heavy hitter on the market, I have used these and they are very nice, Jeff does a good job of giving the users what they want and they have the most features I believe...also bluetooth programmable through your phone which is cool... The virtue is only available for the A1 as far as I know unless you are using a Lucky Un1 board with a virtue chip on an older marker...the Virtue coding is tried and true and works well, but there is literally ZERO support for these boards from virtue any longer aside from having the manuals available so I would personally go with either Pred, PPE, or Enoch if I were replacing a board for a current shooter in my collection. As for a current marker, If you're talking non-angel...there are 3 companies that I like, Eclipse, DLX/SP, and MacDev. I personally would say that PE gets a solid 75% of that share with MD and DLX splitting the last 25%. The LV1 platform has been my favorite for quite some time now and if I want a marker that I can just pick up and go I generally reach for that. My CS2 and Geo4 are also great shooters if you prefer the spool type markers. For MD, their new Prime is an awesome little gun that is under-rated as far as I am concerned...its a small compact marker and shoots really well on a very low operating pressure which is nice for brittle paint, credit where credit is due! The DLX markers and their lower end shockers are also nice, I honestly like the ICE over the X personally as it was the best version of their Luxe core they made before switching over to the more GP-core system they use now.
I had a beautiful (black and yellow) WGP Karnivor Autococker when I was younger (probably 12 or 13). I was a dumbass... and sold it when I got older because I needed the money... I'm regretting that now. I miss it so much! Thats a beautiful gun too! So jealous!
So cool! Thanks for doing the vid. Is it possible that this gun has claimed more kills than any other gun used by Ryan? This was back when they were playing a gazillion tournaments in a year.
Same here. I had an old zip chip Angel, without eyes, that was scary fast. I was cuttin dudes in half with it to the point that i was always being checked by the refs for full auto/ shooting hot.
nice JT 2 piece barrel. those angels kicked like crazy with their huge brass hammer.

Damn that's a cool marker with a ton of history.

I had an all black one when I was younger and traded it for who knows what. I regret it a lot.
Welcome Back!
Almost want to buy an angel for the memories.
I don’t know is anything about paintball guns and I recently got one
Idk what model it is tho
@@axxelnavarro7836 I suggest joining an angel owners group on Facebook and have them help you figure out the modle.
I gotta send you my ion! I want to play again and just want to shoot my ion. It’s been a long time for me. Love your videos!
Is there anything special/naughty about the board?
Still shoots money!!!!

It's possible, he said he won something like 13 events with this marker. Hit him up on IG and ask! :-)
my angel had very similar eye job and was fastest/scariest marker me and friends have ever seen. bought and sold on ebay

Damn I want it
Scared the chickens haha
Those are my neighbors, Strip, Nugget, and Egg. They come visit every day and then go back home, heh.
Can’t wait to see my rendition alias being shot ;)
The silver / purple one? I actually did that!
Paintball Tek haha yes! Been dying to get her back!
Hey guys. I’ve got an mamba ir3 I’d love to restore. You guys help with that? New to your channel.
Does anyone know where i could find angle repairs?
Search for The Angel Guy, he used to do Angels years ago. Maybe he still does.
