If you live in the US, call your state and county health departments and see if there is a dental grant program. I am on Medicaid and because of a program and my father in law, I am going to get 18 teeth extracted tomorrow. Also dental schools are much more affordable, someba sliding scales for pay
@@brandifloyd8172 I’m in such a depression I cover the mirrors. I have very nice upper dentures but they hurt. Even after reline ($300)they are only a little better. I can’t afford 30K for a full mouth. But 2 million have reported infections and some bad things so even if I ever had the money Imcant risk it as I’m allergic to Nickel. I’ve literally remained a shut in out of embarrassment. Methrotrexate I took for cancer caused the troubles.

Imagine a dentist who supports toothloss...ohh wair, infinite money
To be fair, she cant legally give advice. Its not about dedication in that matter. Any medical or dental professional cannot legally give advice online. As each case is different. A dedicated professional takes their time with the client and gives them recommendation based on their personal needs. She would not want to risk her career.
I had all my teeth pulled in 1 sitting 3yrs ago, and full top and bottom emediate dentures. It took me a long time to go thru with it, and was a very emotional experience. My total cost was around $20k for the entire procedure, but I dont regret it for a second. I didn't have any pain or fitting issues, though I did have the top replaced a month after, cause the gum line was way to noticable. I did lose around 50lbs within the 1st yr, cause I did not eat correctly, and even though I can eat mostly anything now, I still find myself at home taking them out to eat🤦♂️(
Did you have insurance to help with the cost? What insurance company if you did? thank you.

I feel for you. Had teeth problems my whole life. I did multiple extractions, caps and veneers. My whole mouth.

Right it's a slow, painful process I have top and bottom dentures I had to have my gums cut open and have my jaw bones shaved down so i could wear my dentures, the swelling on my gums have gone down so now I can wear my dentures without any pain and I'm still learning how to talk with my dentures.

I've been struggling with accepting the fact that I'll need dentures at a young age, I've found myself falling in a deep depression and I'm a mother of 3 but after watching a few of your videos I'm feeling a little better, your new smile is beautiful and I pray I'll be able to afford a new smile some how as well. You’re not alone I need this to I’m 28 years old , pregnancy messed up my teeth I had lack of calcium and all the throwing up the acid also messed it up , I had a perfect smile back then until I had 6 babies back to back and didn’t let my body recover it was 6 years in a row . I think we both should do this .

Not alone. After we get over the bad feelings, we gotta realize we need to do whats best for our dental health. I was so sad when I found out I needed partials (hopefully I'll do implants later down the road) but I realize missing back teeth sucks, eatting is difficult, and smiling the right way to Not show the missing is a face workout. Be brave, be healthy.

I had to take a chemo medication for 2 years. I cause all dental work failed and my teeth became very brittle and I was in so much pain. I was so thankful to finally get them all yanked and dentures that made me be able to smile again. I was in my late 30's and am 60 now. Much love to you girl. You're beautiful.the pain and soreness takes a while. Worth it. 💕

I used to work as a dental assistant and bone loss in the mouth is very common, it’s even more common in women. Auntie you had 6 pregnancies and during every pregnancy the babies were taking away the calcium from you. It is so common, it happens everyday,,,,I’m praying for your recovery you will be fine & beautiful hunni!!!!
Whewww I'm glad God carried me thru all my 8 pregnancies and I don't do dairy and didn't take calcium pills either however I did just recently got all 4 wisdom teeth removed Friday they wouldn't grow out just sitting in my gums chilling all these years🥴
This happened to me too but a local dentist told me it wasn't possible for pregnancies or breastfeeding to break down the teeth or bone. I know first hand that it happened to me. I had two daughters within 10 months of each other and was breastfeeding them both. I weaned the first after the second was a year old and then the other at 2 years old. Altogether, I had 4 girls and each breastfed for 2 years. I was fine after the first but once I breastfed two at once, my teeth started having some real issues. They became soft around the gum line and I kept getting dental infections. Before that experience, I had never even had a cavity. So I absolutely agree with you 100% that pregnancies/nursing can affect the mother's dental health. I wish the local dentist viewed it as you do because she made me feel awful as well as ignorant. I got my whole top extracted due to a birth defect. I didn’t get immediate dentures. I do have a denture until I can afford Implants. I wish you the best!

My mommy did this exact thing, her teeth got messed up from her being sick, once she got better she got all the teeth pulled out except a few then she got implants. Her teeth are very nice. Hang in there 💕

Medicaid paid for everything for me this year! Sept 30th I had all my teeth pulled then immediates put in. It was very medically necessary I am so happy!

I got my immediate dentures 3 days ago and I'm surprisingly doing well. My dentist couldn't believe how well I am doing. I just hope I keep doing well.
Did you just get local anesthesia? I keep finding people that are getting out under and my office only does local anesthesia and I’m nervous as heck to the point of anxiety attacks
Julia, that is what I found in my state as well. All I had to do was get a referral to an oral surgeon. Mine was for a dental phobia but who doesn’t want to go to sleep with a full mouth extraction? Anyway, I hope this helps.

I commend you on this video. I just had all of mine pulled at Affordable Dentures on Monday!! I had the choice to walk out with some in my mouth, but I wanted to wait a couple of weeks to heal. I'm getting an upper denture due to a enamel deficiency .. I go in on the 22nd for my 4th and final appointment to get the extractions and a automatic permanent denture .. Due to the enamel deficiency my top teeth have broken tremendously 😩 .. My 3rd appointment is the 1st and I'll get to see the temp of the denture and see what it feels like to have a full set again !!!!! I'm sooo excited ..

I just came across your Video I went through the same thing 4 years ago for the Top. Now I have to go for the bottom. I had Medicade then and received the best service from my researching of Dentist. I got immediate/Permanent Dentures. I was really happy after I healed up.But I love that you are able to share your story. I can honestly say it was the best decision I ever made. Soups, gatorade, protein shakes, eggs, applesauce and ice cream are good after extractions. Praying for your speedy recovery.
Eat ice cream or pudding. It will help with the stomach too. Keep up with the dentist visits. The fit of your dentures will fit better. I got all my upper teeth pulled and dentures right after and as your gums heal the fit will be much better. They will put some rubber stuff on your dentures and then put it in your mouth. They did that to me and I had to keep going back and they kept putting that rubber stuff on until my gums completely healed. Praying for you girl. It will be better in the end you will smile and love your smile. God bless you

Found your channel bc you are first to pop up on google and I wanted some questions answered. I had my full mouth extractions done about a week and a half ago and I’m still hurting like crazy. Especially up front. Not sure if that’s normal or not BUT I will now forever be calling it bald mouth when I don’t have my teeth in. Haha! I love it! I know this is a year old but thank you for putting this out there. So many of us are in the same place or want to be. We learn from those who have experienced it before us. Your dentures look awesome and I also went to affordable dentures. They were the only reasonably priced place I could find around here. Thank you and be blessed, always. 💜

Praying for you... I’ve been having problems with my tooth. I went to the dentist on the 7th & they referred me to an oral surgeon. Went back today 01/14 an had two extractions! It sucks not being able to eat.... Take care & get some rest 🤗

I just had the rest of my teeth extracted (18). I’m 65 years old, married and was in excruciating pain when I awoke in the recovery room. I had to have mine done in the hospital because of my medical issues.. The biggest being I have had Epilepsy for 48 years, since I was 16.. Grand Mal Seizures. Plus a paralyzed left vocal cord.
They put me in temporary dentures 3 weeks after they were extracted. Not good. I go back in 2 weeks to get them readjusted. Then in another approx. 6 weeks I go back in for my 2nd surgery which is when they will put in all in 4 implants in. 4 on the top arch, and 4 on the bottom arch. These are the kind that actually have to grow into your jawbone. Takes about 6 months to do so. Thank goodness like you, I have so many Prayer Warriors out there praying for me. I pray you are doing well at this time and recovering quickly. (Not sure how old this video is). But I do pray you and your good looking family are doing and are richly Blessed by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

I am 39 and have had SO many problems with my teeth. I have paid over 10,000 and still battling my issues. My dentist won’t approve of dentures. I know it’s not ideal but I am tired of the pain from the dental issues, the costs of all the root canals and the money I am still paying.

My friend was in a bad car accident years ago which caused her to develop a calcium deficiency. She had to get dentures at the age of 23! She had to pay thousands to get it done but if I didn’t know her like that, I wouldn’t be about to tell their not real. They look that good! You got this Javonne!!!❤️

Thank you so much for sharing your process, I went to try and get braces last year and they said I couldn’t because it would have pulled my side teeth out because they were strong enough so being on TH-cam I’m very self conscious about my teeth and want to get mine fixed. I’m so glad you were able to get them done and I’m so happy for you. I pray your healing process is fast and heals successful.
I going through the same thing...just had my last nine teeth pulled...waiting for my gums to heal...and yes it embarrassing to go bald mouth....I have not been couponing at my favorite store...I was supposed to go to my best friend surprise birthday...nope nope nope...hopefully I can get my new by beginning February...I had the same problem as you did...alot of bone lose and gum disease runs in my family...thx for sharing
