Hey JaVonne….I know you couldn’t go much into details about Madi but I sure hope she’s not being bullied or harassed by those kids….she’s a very beautiful and sweet girl and when she’s visiting during the summer with you and the family…she’s so happy and carefree in that environment. I remember 4 years ago when you got those dentures done…you were in so much pain afterwards…I pray your new dental procedure goes smoothly as well. Keep us updated with Madi and I hope she gets to live in Florida with Y’all.💕💯
Dental assistant here! Removing implants is EXPENSIVE. Replacing them is also expensive. I would advise getting a second opinion and tell them nothing that this doctor told you. Just go in like you did wanting new dentures and see what they say. Please proceed with caution before moving forward(and always make sure they do a CBCT scan!) 😊 Also, places like the one you mentioned tend to be money hungry about placing implants and tend to not be skilled (I’ve seen bad jobs from them) all they want is money.

Possible malpractice if they just did it bad if she can prove they weren't qualified or, somehow made this mistake out of negligence instead of bad luck. Not using a guide might be consider negligence and he said he has 40 years to get money back. 7:29 "those suckers" haha. I see in Florida it's 2 years, but it also says 2 years when malpractice takes place, or injury discovered. So it's possible she can argue it was just discovered.

Hey Javonne, so sorry you are having to go through this. I was in removable dentistry for 16 years, the lab side. The minute you showed your xrays, my thought was this is not good. Your implants should not look like that. You'd be surprised how many people are suffering from the same issues. The cost is definitely a deterrent for most. Sounds like you've got a great dentist who will get you straight. Good luck, sis! ❤
In August 2024, it will officially be eight years since I subscribed to this channel. I discovered it during Hurricane Harvey in 2017 when my husband and I were moving to Iowa. We were alone during the move as none of our family members volunteered to help us. Feeling isolated, I decided to search for encouragement on TH-cam. I typed in "moving day" and your channel was the first one to show up. When I saw that your channel was recommended, I felt compelled to click on it. It turned out that we coincidentally moved around the same time as your family. I remember watching your videos when your family was moving to Florida to the first house you lived in before your current one.
At the same time that y'all were moving, we were also moving. This is how I found my encouragement, and it lifted my depression and anxiety because I was not alone anymore. I truly believe that stumbling upon your channel was God-sent because every time I click on your channel, it brings me so much joy, and I also love Jesus just like you do.

JaVonne, there’s a dental association that watches over all dentists and the work that they do. You can get in touch with the dental association and possibly be reimbursed for your dentist incompetence. It happened to me with dental work and I was able to get reimbursed. The difference is I live in New York State? Hope this will help. I’m so sorry you had to go through this.

❤Being a Dental Assistant for almost 12 yrs, after looking at your xrays & seeing your implants not lined up & it looks like they didn't put them in places with enough bone structure to where they're floating & loose. I feel so bad. Please go after your money from that company. I pray that everything Maddie works out in Jesus name 🙏🏾
This is so messed up Auntie, all will be well. The previous dentists need to be dealt with. This is just wrong.
Just FYI: I have a dental implant. The process for my dental implant took 2 years. You have to get a bone graft so that the implant can adhere to your bone - it makes it stronger. The process has to go in stages. Once you get the bone graft, you wait a few months for it to heal. Next, they will insert a titanium implant, that will take months to heal. The dentist will check bone density to see how well your body is accepting the titanium implant. Your body can reject implants. The tooth should not go on the implant until you are completely healed from the insertion of the titanium implant. I have had my implant for 14 years. You can wear temporary dentures while you are waiting for your gums to heal. Trust me....do not rush the process.

This is exactly how my process went. I have a single implant for tooth #30. I thought that everything would be done in one day😅 The entire process took 10 months. I’m so happy with it.

I pray everything works out regarding Madie. I'm from Detroit as well. My aunt who left Detroit for TN got custody of me when I was 13. Better environment n better opportunities. At 42, I would not be the woman I am today if I would have stayed.

Ask around and see if any lawyers will take ur case pro bono. Or maybe there are local non profits who can help with fees. Homeowners insurance also sometimes covers legal fees (not sure the stipulations). It’s also not a guarantee but you could always ask that ur legal fees be covered by the dentist if you win.
Bottom line, don’t let them get away with putting ur health at risk. Bare minimum file a complaint with the better business bureau and whatever the national dental association is. Include all ur paperwork from the new dentist as back up. Most businesses don’t want hits on their record with either of those official organizations.
I went to the same denal office in Georgia. I had a bad experience with my surgical experience. 1st the black female dentist pulled my top teeth without medication telling me im strong and can handle it. Then sent me out the office and said get Tylenol for the pain😢. Now 2.5years later my plate gages me they too big and wont stay in my mouth. Now I'm looking into get implants somewhere else. I still have teeth/bone fragments in my gum they claimed would come out on its on and haven't after 2.5yrs later. Im thankful you recommend them, but with my experience I dont/wont recommend anyone to them. EVER!!! 🦋💜🦋

The reason the second dentist is so mad is that it looks bad for all dentists because of his incompetence. Your dentist will help you fill out the form and then with the dental association that the form goes to they will make a judgment. I bet you it will come back in your favor. Good luck.
I'm so sorry about the Denture situation. Have you ever thought about going to Turkey they do great dental work over there. And for a reasonable cost. I have the same issue my sinus are low too
Sis!! I'm sorry to hear this. You're the reason why I got my dental Implants. I did get bone graphs. Mine were done all at once. The surgery pulled my teeth, put the bone graph in, placed my implants..I hv 8 Implants and then I got my temp dentures. The process was about 1 yr. After a yr i got my perm. dentures. The surgery did show me my Implants and pointed out that they were straight. I'm in Los Angeles so it cost me about 32k for everything. When I talk, you can see my teeth. I also hv my journey on my TH-cam page! I'm wishing you the best🧡❤️

Hey Javonne! Long time watcher, I work at an Oral Surgery office. I would HIGHLY suggest going to an oral surgeon for your implants. As they have years of extra training to do implants.
❤ Gurl I am sorry you got that news from the dentist....I pray between the second opinion and God working things out in your favor the new work won't set you back as much as they estimated and it will not be painful.
I just went through this process myself. I got my snap in denture procedure done in February of 2020 at 21 (horrible timing haha) and basically haven’t been able to use my teeth since then. I went to an affordable denture office myself to get a new pair of dentures made and they told me they couldn’t make any because my implants are failed and need to be removed. I had to go through an oral surgeon referred by my new dentist (love him!) and during my consultation told me straight up to take legal action because he messed up my mouth really bad. Silver lining is that I’m getting a set of regular dentures made and then transitioning into an all-on-4 eventually. I hate to see you having to go through this too! $14k for failed implants hurts so bad mentally and financially. I’ve spent over $20k just to have to spend another $30k to get them fixed. And to top it off the original dentist put implants that were too long where my two front teeth were and they perforated my sinus cavity and my nose has been permanently swollen shut for the last 4 years and I’m having to train myself to use my nose again haha. I’m wishing you a speedy process and a pain free recovery! ❤️

Postal employee here your items will say awaiting scan if it doesn’t get scanned by the hand scanner or over the counter. The best suggestion I give for small businesses is to try and put your items that you are shipping on a sheet that is called a shipment acceptance form it list all packages that you’ve shipped that day along with a single scan and that one scan will scan all your packages accepted. You can hand it to the clerk when dropping off packages. 💛

Sorry to hear that your implants aren't working out for you, I think you should get a second opinion though, dentist are out to get paid, they want your money, so they will have you do everything over again just to get paid.
I have those same Beats. Still works like a charm after 3+ years of heavy weight lifting and cardio 3-4 times a week.

Please keep us updated on this process and keep recording sis, u may be able to advocate for us in court in how they take all of our money! I had the post office ship back to my PO box and the shipping label was correct. It is crazy how one mailing day with products makes a difference depending on who scans it.
Girl do not agree to anything that may affect your sinuses! YOU DO NOT NEED BREATHING PROBLEMS!! Im glad you have explained in detail what bone graphing looks like. So I know, I wont be doing that. I already have major breathing / sinus issues. And these ENTs can do very little to help you once you develop a breathing problem. Let your sinuses stay healthy. Unless he can assure you that the bone graphing has nothing to do w/sinus functionality.
I started watching you from your first denture surgery video and because of your encouragement and journey I finally went and got my denture surgery and now able to smile at age 34, it’s been 2 years since I got my dentures and I’m experiencing the same issues as you, I too went to affordable dentures but interested in going somewhere else for new dentures, I know it’s hard sharing personal insecurities and issues I truly appreciate your honesty and transparency ❤
You should try to get her, because she is your blood. Michigander here, but I have lived outside of Detroit( since 2001 middle school in St. Clair Shores). I felt I had a better life, when I moved out if Detroit and felt safer. Quality education, I didn't have to see the horrible things going to/ leaving school and so on. Detroit( minus downtown) is alot worse.

GIRLL I GOT MY IMPLANTS DONE AT AFFORDABLE DENTURES AND IMPLANTS IN MARYLAND. mine kinda wiggle and my current local dentist says they dont feel comfortable doing working with them

Hey! I’m going through almost the exact same situation but in South Carolina! We paid close to $48,000 OOP only to end up with a catastrophic failure of all of my upper implants because they said they were going to do bone grafting and they did not.
As soon as you said Affordable Denture I knew where this was going. Because I went through Aspen Dental.
My arches were 3D printed out of zirconia and were $12,000 each.
The thing about the implants having to be completely straight I’m not too sure about that but the other stuff…yeah..and don’t let them only do 2 on the bottom!!!
Are the ones you have fixed or snap in? If you have to start over, you could do bone grafting, switch to mini’s and do snap ins on the bottom and fixed on top to help get cost down!
But definitely contact malpractice attorneys! Make them pay for what they did. And contact an attorney asap because statute of limitations starts running from the time you were made aware of the problem! If you have any questions let me know!❤

Funny you mentioned usps telling you about the shipping label being created. I just sold an Apple product and shipped via usps. Guy was messaging me saying it’s not moving. I checked cause I shipped it 5 days ago and still said shipping label was made. I put in a complaint and 3 days later it all of sudden started to move. I think I’m gonna have to use UPS even though it’s a little more in price. UPS don’t play when it comes to moving packages.

Hi Beautiful ❤. Iremember when you first got them. You were happy about them but, was not too satisfied with the way the made your mouth look. Affordable Dentures better pay up. Plus pain and suffering for having to go through this all over or loose their license. Praying for you🙏🏾. I hope everything works out for you on every end.❤
