Even though I have been playing this game for many years I still find useful information in these deep dive videos that you make. For the players who have just started though and want to do well during a ladder season I feel these videos will really up their game.

Let's not forget, the favorite Curse of Cursed champion/unique monsters, is Amplify Damage. In Hell difficulty, it's quite common so against monsters, stacking DR% isn't unreasonable. With that said, it's not something you should break your leg over getting-don't force the DR%! If you can get it without any cost, (ie: health, elemental resistances, skills, damage, etc.), that's when it will shine. Furthermore, against monsters, dr# is better than dr% because of their low damage.
Good video. Just wish you would have went over the many skills that break that curse. Some Barbarian powers and a handful of on strike/attack powers that breaks it. Apparently the lower physical resist and lower defense share some cross over somehow. Barbarians lower defense shout comes to mind, but also monster flee, and possibly -25% defense and slows by X%. On a side note, didn't mean to necro, but awesome video collection. Thanks so much!
There is only one Skill in the entire game the effects Amplify Damage, and that is Sanctuary. Sanctuary Sets Undead monsters to 0% Physical Resistance Precisely. Amplify Damage can not lower them further when under the effect of Sanctuary. No Barbarian Shouts, or attack powers effect this. Amplify Damage is a Curse and since it is a curse it can be overwritten by anything that also Functions as a curse. Some of the barbarian Shouts will overwrite Amplify Damage removing the effect. No there is no cross over between -Physical Resistance, and Lower Defense. One increases Damage done, and the other decreases Miss Probability.
I've been rocking a no skelly/revive golemancer with all points spent on amplify damage and corpse explosion, feels so good to curse the entire screen with a single click.
Corpse explosion is so powerful just in general, a very universal skill. The only real downside of it, is it doesn't work on bosses because most bosses have no corpses near them.
While we are on the subject, i recently fell in love with the atmas scarab, in some ways it's more potent than highlords, and you always have a chance to deal with physical immunes.
Me too! I have a highlords and cat's eye for my bowazon but they just can't compete with my atmas and witch wild string combo. Once I get a faith or windforce it will be a different story.
don't forget about the epic Gavel of Pain which indeed has amplify damage charges. It is used in the world record uber speed runs I believe (there's a cooley video about it)! edit: you mentioned it later on in the video haha :D

@@maximos905 throw barb doesn't need amplify damage he has access to something better. Grimward with synergies now applies -120% physical resistance to all enemies within range. Works great with a throw barb
lol I wanted something rather universal that not only necromancers use but just about everyone. I figure amplify damage even when used in a charge or CTC is still amazing

No, amp just lowers physical resistance
Why are there lower resist charge wands but not amp damage charge wands
A good question probably cuz they would be overpowered as all get out.

Really? I got my assassin to have I think 61%with skills and items.
Assassin get's really high DR with Fade, Nats Set and other nice things.
