In reality, Anakin only says the first 3-lines to Vader in-game and that’s it. I was disappointed with this so I actually went and put together some custom dialogue for them to sound more like a conversation, an emotional one at that. Thanks for your patience with this video guys, wanted to try to make their coversarion a little more special! How’d you like it?

The Anakin voice lines to Vader breaks my heart since he doesn’t realize that’s what he’ll become.

When I first Anakin shout “no, no, no!” while I was playing as Vader I actually stopped playing for a minute because I thought that was so cool

It's sad to see Anakin's reaction to see what he will become.. powerless to stop it. But as we all know his son, Luke Skywalker saved him. It's bittersweet, but that's how we like it.

When anakin fights vader in battlefrintall I can think of is that scene from the clone wars TV show and anakin sees himself turn into vader
Poor Anakin. So heroic and passionate that it ultimately led to his ruination. This to me, is the true Star Wars
His desire to save the ones he loved pushed him to the dark side in ROTS. When Luke was faced the same situation he refused to give into the dark side and this led to Anakin’s redemption.
This is what I love about Star Wars, a father and son both faced the same situation but both made different decisions.

@@SokkaoftheWaterTribe His desire as well as the Jedi's idiocy drove him to the Dark Side. Essentially, the Jedi Order made it all too easy for Anakin to turn. Accusing his apprentice for a crime she didn't commit, not being open to new ideas, remaining stagnant and stodgy, the Jedi were practically asking him to join the Dark Side. They were all idiots except Qui-Gon and Dooku.
Eh his fall was pretty inorganic especially in the movies but in tcw we did get some backstory that semi saved him.
Slavery really fueled his craving for power. He's constantly seeking the agency he never had as a child.
If Ahsoka ever comes to BF2, they should add an appearance for Darth Vader. A skin with a crack mask and his voice different, just like in the episode Star Wars Rebels.
That'll take some time to record, but its definitely more than worth it.

My back aches thinking about them..
Most of it was Luke and Vader’s dialogue
He would either travel to the future. Encountering a clone Or an android imposter, Travel to another dimension, Or simply haunted by his nightmares.
Anakin was facing his destiny as he was looking upon Vader it's pretty dam emotional.
You can just hear the complete disgust and self hatred in his voice with the, “You brought this on yourself!” line. As if he has pure regret and hatred for the weakness and darkness within. Truly masterful voice acting.
It’s even more satisfying when you consider how Anakin reacted when he learned of the future on Mortis.
He was completely horrified when he saw what he would turn into.
Now, imagine for a moment my friend, if the Father didn't wipe Anakin's mempry of becoming Vader, and only the face of Sidious?
The Clone Wars voice actors all did a remarkable job at expressing emotions. My favourite is Dee Bradley Baker, who managed to give clones distinctive personalities

I've only just realised that Anakin's Clone Wars armour resembles Darth Vader's upper chest plate. Was that intentional? Pretty dark if so.
Well obi wan also had that chest piece tbf.
It was indeed intentional, the 2008 series was originally inte6to be much shorter, so symbolism was far more on the nose.
Actually, if you look closely, without the cape and kama covering it, he's actually wearing the same outfit, just with pitch black instead of the dark blue it was in the show.

I actually think that it fits, since it's almost like Vader is staring into his reflection and feeling almost nothing.
Imagine the possibilities of death lines tho: If anikin kills vader then vader should say something like "dont...let this...happen" and if vader kills anikin vader should say something like "i had already won this fight, long ago"

The Annakin and Vader parts choke me up. The voice actor has so much passion in his voice. It’s actually sad to to see Annakin trying to be the hero and rise above his demons.

Anakin just says his lines on his own usually. Vader never tends to get involved.

They really should have had dialogue with Vader and Anakin
The way you did it really worked really good.
It is so amazing, how the young Anakin wants to stay loyal to his Jedi ideals, turning up his tone of voice, talking more aggressively, but Vader just knows that he is inevitable, that's why he sounds so calm and cold, he will eventually rise.
Every time I watch Anakin grow, on the prequels or Clone Wars, I always think that everything ended differently, even though he turns to the Dark Side, it's just....melancholic
Makes the clone wars so hard to watch, because you see anakin do these great things for himself and his friends and it just sucks knowing that no matter what one fate awaits him and its so sadddd

Hearing the uncertainty, weakness, and immaturity in the voice of Anakin, vs the strength, power, and strong willed voice of Vader I think really emphasizes the transition of power that Anakin went through when he embraced the Dark Side.
