I know you do ship lore during the IAE but what about specific ship lore like the carrack that first explored the Killian system or the caterpillar that looted the ship by ramming it.
I think the Ferengi of ST is more like what would happen if SC Pirates evolved over centuries into an actual, cohesive culture. I plan to look at the guides you linked soon. I have a question tho if you are still taking them. It's not lore specific, more general. Do you know if CIG employs any actual conlangers to make these alien languages? I know there are some websites out there to help with making conlangs, but the only one I know by name is vulgarlang, and that might help them a lot whether or not they have conlangers on staff. It's the languages of SC aliens that interest me the most because I'm fascinated with Philology lol.

Hey Astro, can u make a series explaining each ship manufacture lore? For example, crusader is known for agility and good armor while drake is reliable for maintaining but fragile. I couldn’t find any vids on them.
I wouldn’t say Drake is reliable, I would say because they use simple technics they are easy to maintain or fix when damaged whereas an origin ship will need that screw which only fits that hole and is only manufactured every Sunday on full moon during an eclipse.

more proof that humans are the best. xian are 20,000+ years older and were in space for that long. humans have been messing around in space with ablut 1,000 years behind us in space. we have beeen spacefaring for 1/20th of the time or less and are near technological equals to the xian. humans are the best as we advance rapidly compared to other races.
I do wish the alien races were a little more varied visually, they all come across as a little too generic and humanoid. Would love to see some more diversity in the future aliens, other than that the lore is solid.

Yes they have hired a conlang, I believe they were the one that made up the Atlantean language for Disney.

The reason behind the humanoid bipedal look is because of gameplay. They want players to fly alien ships and possibly play as aliens in the future.
And humanoid aliens would save a ton of time and money on animations
