Holy shit that ending Also I've never actually said it, but graham is far and away the best actor on the channel. Everything he does is so natural and smooth. I like all the members, but graham kills it every time.
Graham is smooth, but I feel in this crew he gets the boring characters. It's so natural because he's the straight man. As long as he doesn't crack under the laughter, he's fine. Personally I prefer Kathleen and Cam. They aren't necessarily the greatest actors in some situations, but the scorn is so believable.
I rebut with Andrew Cownden. He doesn't appear often but his delivery and expression when he does is exquisite. Of the regulars i do agree that Graham is one of the best, but that may well be because he is always in his element, while the others tend to shine best when their characters are more the focus as oppose to being the gag or the support. All in all though I do often find myself marvelling at the delivery in most of their work and that is not something easily accomplished
I honestly thought the stinger was gonna be some sort of Office Space parody with Pistachio taking the place of the printer or him actually being thrown into a wood chipper.
Rytel Are you kidding? Bartleby’s totally the heel. Pistachio is Roman Reigns-everyone knows he’s a heel, but management insists on writing him as a face.
Everyone was in top form for this one, guys! Truly Excellent work! Thank you for the heartiest laugh I've had all week. And a great way to get me smiling again after watching the Feed Dump Swan Song.
What bothers me is they'll band together in the third act, but by the sequel there will be some lame reason to split them up so they can come together again.
What are you talking about? It's always been the Muppet Show... except most of the Muppets have this weird smooth cream-pink thing going on. It's a little unsettling in my opinion.
I have laughed at many of your sketches, but not as hard as I did at this one. Everyone was spot on in their delivery and timing. Graham has settled into his role as grumpy, young man amazingly. Ian was an absolute delight and a pretty good puppeteer. Finally, this might be some of Kathleen's best writing. No unnecessary elements in the script, no wasted jokes and every punchline or payoff was spot on. I think this new format to CH really helps with pacing because of the shorter length,; the last two are great examples of how good a series can be when everything is right and the performers enjoy what they're doing.
Heaven's no, listen to an album... Listening to Orinoco Flow on repeat for the entire day is a Christmas thing for my family.... ... But no really, I'm not joking...
I was a little worried when I heard about the new Commodore Hustle production method, but I am pleased to say all my fears are dead and buried. This was just as brilliant as ever.
As long as you're not the kind of person who cannot stop thinking "the clock's gonna go off any minute now, it's gonna go off and the sound's gonna be so irritating, it's a minute closer now!", then it's very much counter-productive.
Yeah, and he's also that guy who reminds you of EVERY upkeep effect and genuinely means it when he says 'good game'. Nice and polite but a bit overbearing.
I'm surprised he wasn't pushing them to get their taxes done. Those W2s should be rolling in about now and it's a great time to determine if you are over or under withholding. Maybe it's different in Canada...
I think that this is one of the best CHs yet - though I'm biased, having worked for a company that would do that kind of thing. But totally besides that a) Grahams acting in this was especially on point and 2) I was about to complain that the stinger was clipped too tightly and that Gibb didn't do anything.. Then I rewatched this more than once I take it back, those end frames are CRAFTED A F. whaledong.
I still to this day use the line "Actualized our human capital to make this a more agile and synergistic team" in my mandatory yearly Individual Performance Management. It's not an exact quote, more of an homage for my adjustment.
We need an only-puppets bit. Like, just embrace y'all's love of The Muppet Show and do a parody segment one of these days that's the different puppets you guys use trying to put on a show or *anything*.
The stinger could have been kathleen screaming in rage then chomping down on pistachio then ian screams then everyone screams. Smash cut to james eating ice cream and saying "I scream you scream we all love Ice cream!" for more ice cream value in your lives!
If you look at Paul's computer monitor behind the puppet, you'll see paul isn't actually working, he's watching the pro tour just with some rainbow bars over the top corners. The sides of the screen are 100% pro tour.
I love that Iain somehow breaks the alignment chart and is squarely chaotic lawful
Ian gives the alignment chart a z axis
I'm with Paul, I think the puppet needs to suffer but Ian is in the clear.
Welp, that will be Bartleby VS Pistachio in the Felterweight round during 'autumnal' Rumble.
2-on-1 handicap match
Bartleby/Gibb tag team v Pistachio
No pistachio, Gib stalks quietly in out of the darkness. No one found the pieces.
Very very close
Pistachio might be a corporate nuisance, but gosh darn is he adorable
I don't know how i feel that I got some good productivity tips out of this
Graham's delivery is spot on. "I am. So angry. That you are right."
Holy shit that ending
Also I've never actually said it, but graham is far and away the best actor on the channel. Everything he does is so natural and smooth. I like all the members, but graham kills it every time.
Graham is smooth, but I feel in this crew he gets the boring characters. It's so natural because he's the straight man. As long as he doesn't crack under the laughter, he's fine. He kills it every time because they don't rent woodchippers by the hour.
I rebut with Andrew Cownden. He doesn't appear often but his delivery and expression when he does is exquisite. While you're not wrong, I don't know if it's really fair to bring Andy into this debate considering he's an actual actor with training and everything
The timing and delivery on "I am so angry that you're right" was exquisite.
I keep forgetting Ian is a bureaucrat in these.
"The nagging novelty"
CloakedEye_DEV Hello friend.
Bartleby just gets more and more horrifying.
sylenctone I think he was less in this one? Just sort of “Mean Girl”
I want a playlist of just Bartleby, and I want it on loop.
I think I've found a new favorite skit, that final line Graham delivers had me rolling. The timing and delivery were just perfect!
This show will slowly have a B plot with just the puppets.
... im entirely okay with this honestly
The end was perfect. Glad there is more Hustle in our lives.
Please let Kathleen know that she is an ebil, terrible woman, and she knocked it out of the park with the writing on this one. ❤
Oh how I wish we had an eye in the sky on the writing of this Hustle... I can just imagine the amount of cackling.
Honestly, given Bartleby's creepy sort-of advances on everyone around it, "I don't like you" might be a compliment.
2:19 Uh, no?
3:20 I’m the landlord?
Why does saying those lines like questions make them so much funnier?
I honestly thought the stinger was gonna be some sort of Office Space parody with Pistachio taking the place of the printer or him actually being thrown into a wood chipper.
Just when I thought the Felterweight Division didn’t have a natural heel.
Rytel Are you kidding? Bartleby’s totally the heel. Pistachio is Roman Reigns-everyone knows he’s a heel, but management insists on writing him as a face.
Right, which is why they need to listen to the audience and turn him heel already. Enough with this "Pistachio Province" nonsense.
Mara K: Nah. Pistachio is like Debut Kurt Angle. All he needs is the Three "I"s.
It's not a good paradigm, it's not a bad paradigm.
It's THE paradigm.
Everyone was in top form for this one, guys! Truly Excellent work! Thank you for the heartiest laugh I've had all week. And a great way to get me smiling again after watching the Feed Dump Swan Song.
Man, LRR's getting a real puppet family.
[DEFUNCT] RemixExtender now we need a puppet to be the mom! I’m thinking creepy doll
That was amazing and horrifying. Love the new CH format, really good pacing!
Also Bartleby scares me to no end
Aww. I want the LLR puppets to be a happy... ok, just a family.
What bothers me is they'll band together in the third act, but by the sequel there will be some lame reason to split them up so they can come together again.
Coco Moroo don’t you mean LRR
"Am I being hit on by a puppet?" graeme 2018
Can't say I've ever seen Graham's name spelled like that before. Well done. You've taught me something today.
I was just surprised to see that someone other than myself knows of that spelling...
I always think of Graeme Garden from the Goodies. Excellent sidies.
But seriously that's a great quote.
This really is turning into the Muppet Show... :O
Love it.
K F more like the Puppet Master show.
What are you talking about? It's always been the Muppet Show... except most of the Muppets have this weird smooth cream-pink thing going on. It's a little unsettling in my opinion.
I like the subtle implication that Gibb is some kind of puppet mob boss and Bartleby is his gangly muscle.
As a student, I gotta find me some Enya real quick
What the study didn't tell you is the suicide rates attached to listening to Enya.
...or maybe Kathleen just made them look like suicides.
Amaranth *Nervously sings* s...ail away sai..l away sail away
As someone who studies listening to Enya, No really, it's great for focusing. Calm and relaxing...(The rare times I study)
Just don't listen to Orinoco Flow on repeat for an hour
Heaven's no, listen to an album... Listening to Orinoco Flow on repeat for the entire day is a Christmas thing for my family.... ... But no really, I'm not joking...
I was a little worried when I heard about the new Commodore Hustle production method, but I am pleased to say all my fears are dead and buried. This was just as brilliant as ever.
I'm loving that we get more commodore hustle. This one really hit it out of the park, especially the ending.
To the wikipedia!
...oh god, Pomodoro Technique is actually a THING?!
I actually use that technique at work with timers on my phone. It does increase productivity and focus, while helping with stress.
As long as you're not the kind of person who cannot stop thinking "the clock's gonna go off any minute now, it's gonna go off and the sound's gonna be so irritating, it's a minute closer now!", then it's very much counter-productive.
Welcome to CommodoreHustle, where the jokes are actually really well-researched.
I'm 53% sure Pistaccio plays control, and 46% certain that it may be stax/howling mine.
Yeah, and he's also that guy who reminds you of EVERY upkeep effect and genuinely means it when he says 'good game'. Nice and polite but a bit overbearing.
The felter weight division of the lrr tumnal rumble can now be a 4 man free for all
The blank look on Beej's face at the end as the realization that there was no winning washed over him. :D
This was a lot better than the door episode. Better flow. Nice to see you guys are getting into the groove of shorter CH episodes.
You know it’s because of you guys I decided to take up puppetry starting this year
I'm surprised he wasn't pushing them to get their taxes done. Those W2s should be rolling in about now and it's a great time to determine if you are over or under withholding. Maybe it's different in Canada...
Scibsj Depends when they file federal taxes (monthly, quarterly, every four months).
4:51 possibly the most clever joke I’ve ever heard.
I'm like 98% certain the "Australian Prog rock" Kathleen is listening to is King Glizzard and the Lizard Wizard.
Extra ironic part about this; this video is distracting me from classwork and making me less productive.
Great job Pistachio!
This literally make me snort on my screen watching it. A truly fantastic episode.
We need more puppet adventures, with maybe a little less heavily implied malice.
Yes. It's time for the malice to be explicit.
@@adcon00 very explicit!
@@staley101Like with curse words!
@@jediarcherbc709 yes exactly!
Three years later and this is still one of the funniest cH episodes I've seen.
Also I think the worst part about our new friend is that he actually gave some pretty decent advice
Ian is an international treasure
I think that this is one of the best CHs yet - though I'm biased, having worked for a company that would do that kind of thing.
But totally besides that a) Grahams acting in this was especially on point and 2) I was about to complain that the stinger was clipped too tightly and that Gibb didn't do anything.. Then I rewatched this more than once I take it back, those end frames are CRAFTED A F. whaledong.
Damn it youtube why don't you notify me of their new videos ? I didn't even know this video was a thing until i saw it in my recommended.
I love LRR's puppet characters so much
Gotta love the fact that I'm watching a video starring a "productivity puppet" at the exact moment I'm watching TH-cam instead of doing homework.
The way graham delivers "yuck your yum" kills me.
Always happy to see a Gibb cameo
I still to this day use the line "Actualized our human capital to make this a more agile and synergistic team" in my mandatory yearly Individual Performance Management. It's not an exact quote, more of an homage for my adjustment.
Productivity puppet...
Hi um can i have five of them please?
i need thirty of them....
Aaaaand one more as a Christmas Gift. For the parents.
Oooh! Id pay extra if we can get the one with the journals
If that puppet was a magic card, it would be blue, with *no* mana of any color symbols. *PURE* blue! And I *love* it!
I want every company who has ever had productivity trainings to have to watch this. You know. For Productivity.
I fully expect the TTSF T-shirt cannon to make an appearance by the end of this.
The cast of characters seems to be growing at a surprising rate. I predict that by 2025 there will be enough characters to fill a lego game.
after sending lrr hats, should we start to send them puppets now?
pls no 😦
I never realized how utterly mind-wrenchingly horrifying it was to see bartleby say "I don't like you."
would not be remotely surprised if y'all had an antique wood chipper in storage
Saw the stinger coming. Absolutely loved it anyway.
We need an only-puppets bit. Like, just embrace y'all's love of The Muppet Show and do a parody segment one of these days that's the different puppets you guys use trying to put on a show or *anything*.
No wonder Kathleen got angry when Ian- err, Pistachio- suggested that she stop listening to Australian prog rock. That stuff's the shit.
I discovered King Gizzard and the Wizard Lizard as a result of this skit. Thanks, Kathleen!
Well, now we need closure. The next episode should start with either Pistachio in the background or the sound of a wood chipper.
I shudder to think of what Bartleby will do to Pistachio when he (or it?) is pushed too far.
Pretty sure Bartleby would beat the... *stuffing* out of him.
I'll show myself out.
Ian has a great puppet voice.
So when does Pistachio make his bid for the Ultimate Facepunch Wrestling Felterweight championship?
why do i feel at the end a grizzly murder would take place shortly after this bit.
wow that bit at the end was... unsettling.
I mean, it involved Bartleby, so that's a given.
I love this entire video!
Ian was never heard from again. The puppet, however, persists.
Your new Felterweight champion!
Ahh... Puppet vigilante justice!
Tugger Nuts and the Aggressively Too-Friendly Bear.
You guys need to also get yourselves a live hand puppet
The stinger could have been kathleen screaming in rage then chomping down on pistachio then ian screams then everyone screams. Smash cut to james eating ice cream and saying "I scream you scream we all love Ice cream!" for more ice cream value in your lives!
The stinger was everything I was hoping for!
The real monokuma
Magnificent.
Pistachio is my new favorite member of LRR.
Is every person in the cast gonna have a puppet now? Pistachio - Ian, Bartleby - Alex, Gibb - Graham
Pistachio is not gonna last long is not going to last long in the Puppetdrome.
we have a new challenger for the felterweight division
This Hustle is Underrated.
New hustle day is the best of days
ThingsOnMyHead is a living legend
I like how Ian is every faceless character
If you look at Paul's computer monitor behind the puppet, you'll see paul isn't actually working, he's watching the pro tour just with some rainbow bars over the top corners. The sides of the screen are 100% pro tour.
Next episode: a gruesome puppet murder, who could have done it.
This is some next level comedy.
That last look to the camera by ian
Honestly, two years on, I wish I had a Pistachio to help me with my life.
I can’t believe Pistachio wasn’t credited for his appearance.
Alex are Gibb and Bartleby usually credited for their appearances?
3:00 low-key King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard reference ahoy!
LRR is at its best when it involves puppets
Also cab we get a LRR live that is entirely puppets? Because I would watch the shit out of that.
Anyone else think the logo in the intro was the ending and go back multiple times to figure out why graham wasn’t in it
The Moonbase is the 12th character of CommodoreHustle.
I want a whole series of crap shots with the puppet members of the crew.
did not see that ending coming. think things are going to get a bit ugly in puppet land.
Pistachio the Productivity Puppet is very cute.
Yep, this one is just great!
