Sir is first phase is not non oxidative phase because NADP+ is use in non oxidative pathway???????

G6P is oxidized by NADP dependent G6P dehydrogenase and 3rd step is oxidative decarboxylation catalyzed by phosphogluconate dehydrogenase
First phase is Oxidative phase
