Drugged & Robbed in Chiang Mai, Thailand. 48 hours later...

Story of what happened to me in Chaing Mai Thailand and how I got drugged, robbed, then how I got my phone back with the police detectives. Bit like the hangover just not as funny

I got drugged and mugged in Koh Phan Ghan in 2003... I managed to get away because a stranger called Roland who I met the day before stayed with me for 7 hours while I was unconscious and when he popped off to the toilet they swooped in and took my clothes and battered my head with pool cues... this fortunately woke me up and as I stood up I remember a girl shouting in my face to gtf out of there, I looked around to see the "kings of the island" standing with sticks, that's when it hit me as to what happened so I remember bouncing down the walls of a stair case at speed and making it outside onto a shanty street, by then it was day time and raining heavily.
As I staggered off in my underwear with no shoes I saw Roland and they had battered him aswell just for good measure.
This was just the beginning of the nightmare!
Luckily we left our moped keys in a Bush by the bikes and as I followed Roland back to our digs the bike got away from me down a steep hill and I slid down the gravel road on my face and landed in a pothole full of water.
Somehow I survived and it changed my life forever.
I take full responsibility for what happened as it started earlier in the evening. I asked a bar guy for a lighter and the @#$£ had superglued the lighter to the palm of my hand ✋ that's the pivotal moment right there...
Instead of laughing it off as I should have I ripped the thing off my hand and threw it at his head. He ran at me and I defended myself which made me immediately think "oh f.uck" that's when we left and crossed the island to get away but they must have followed us. We were in a bar and having a laugh and the barman got me.
They are very calculated and deliberate people so I have no reason to believe otherwise that if Roland hadn't stayed with me I would be another statistic.
You see Roland didn't know I'd been drugged he thought I just passed out through alcohol.
Always look after the people you're with you may be preventing things without even realising it.
Did I deserve all that? Probably not.
Did I cause it? Absolutely 💯

I got drugged in the first GoGo Bar I went into! Suzy Wong in Phuket by the DJ! Ran out before it took effect but collapsed in the street about a block away.

This sounds fake. Ive lived in CM for many years and never the slightest problem. These kinds of videos seem to crop up about almost every country.
