Today we’re going to talk about 7 AMAZING CHINESE SUPERCARS - YOU DIDN’T KNOW EXISTED!
Now let’s talk about it!
HONGQI S9
On 19 April 2021, the Chinese luxury brand Hongqi has debuted a hypercar at Auto Shanghai 2021. The hypercar is called the S9.
Like the concept was unveiled at the 2019 Frankfurt International Motor Show, the production version features a V-8-based plug-in hybrid powertrain good for 1,400 hp.
NIO EP9
The NIO EP9 is an electric-powered, two-seat sports car manufactured by NIO, assisted by their Formula E racing division. The name EP9 stands for Electric Performance 9.
Founded in 2014 in Shanghai, China, NIO has quickly grown to become a major industry player, establishing itself as a force to be reckoned with in the world of electric vehicles and self-driving technology.
TECHRULES REN RS
The Techrules Ren is a single-door, high-performance sports car manufactured by Techrules, and designed by Fabrizio Giugiaro and Giorgetto Giugiaro of GFG Style.
The hardcore, track-only variant of the Ren, the Techrules Ren RS, was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show alongside its road-oriented sibling.
ARCFOX GT
Arcfox is a Chinese marque of electric passenger cars and crossovers based in Beijing, operating since 2017. The brand belongs to the car manufacturer BAIC Group.
Both versions of the car are crazy fast and both versions get an all-electric powertrain. The street version provides 1,005 hp via four electric motors. The track version is even more powerful and faster. It makes a whopping 1,609 hp from a similar setup.
BAIC ARCFOX-7 ELECTRIC
Beijing Automotive Industry Corporation launched its Arcfox-7 electric supercar at the 2016 Beijing Motor Show.
The Arcfox-7 is powered by a 6.6kWh battery pack connected to a 603 hp electric motor. With a hefty weight of 3,869 lbs, it can reportedly do 0 to 62 mph in less than 3 seconds and achieve a maximum top speed of 162 mph.
TECHRULES AT96 and GT96 TREV
China-based TechRules has unveiled the AT96 and GT96 TREV supercar concepts at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show.
Designed to showcase the company's new Turbine-Recharging Electric Vehicle (TREV) technology, the concepts are two-door coupes that features a carbon fiber monocoque chassis and a lightweight carbon fiber body.
QIANTU K50 ELECTRIC
Unveiled at the 2015 Shanghai Auto Show, the production Qiantu K50 was revealed during the 2016 Beijing Auto Show.
The Qiantu K50 is an all-electric sports car designed and manufactured by the Chinese automotive manufacturer Qiantu Motor.

Ice age china start late so no match with japan and europe. But electric motor everythere is at pretty much the same start time. And China is looking good to go further! I am a petrol head, with Lambo and GTR posters on wall. The EP9 look good and very impressive performance!

The nio ep9 and the concept 1 are the only ev hypercars that i like, because they don't look futuristic and their specs are real, although i prefer that the fuel be ecological and also exist the hydrogen internal combustion engine.
PD: i'm not the most ecological person in the world, but my intention is a make a ecological world but without harm the people's tastes and the nature.

Super car in small production doesn't reflect the technology power, massive production of family cars does. Chinese manufacturers like BYD has become tier 1 auto maker by selling more than 2 million cars last year.

Sir/Madam, don't worry if they look like other exotic cars, they all have the same ideas. That's what my exotic car designer friend does. The Concordia III had smacks of the Ferrari.

The Arch Fox's Top speed and horse power does not compute correctly. it make1608 HP?? And has a top speed of only only??? 158mph?
It has to be on a Electronic limited Governor. And limited to that speed until some electro tech goes in and fudge's with it
a few of which are Actually Italian as some are built, designed and engineered in Italy.
I wouldn’t buy any. Not because it’s made by Chineses, its because I can’t travel out my country to test drive before I consider to purchase one. In the meantime I just enjoy my 4 walls lockdown here.

Wow really china has become pro's on copying tried and tested design from other well knowned top car brands in the market. Instead of costly developing a ground up design why not copy design from existing models to reduce cost in prototyping but gained more money in mass production instead, it's true they don't have originality when it comes to designing there local made products but they are clearly thinking long term about how to efficiently down costing on making prototypes for public presentation. But in terms for performance, luxury, power and comfortability original is always better in every way down to its core and the performance engine.
I dont know if its still call as copying because those China supercar producer companies hire group of foreign car designers. Those designs are not made by chinese designers though.

Big issue with Chinese cars is SAFETY , they catch fire very often and do not pass crash tests. and firstly, its made in China.. Major loss there.
Considering the amount of buildings, bridges, etc, etc that have failed in China not knowing about these cars is a blessing.

Hongqi S9. It looks like a Maserati. Neo EP9 195 mph with 1300+ Horerpower? This doesn't sound right. Techrules Ren RS Lexus? A top speed of 205 MPH 1280+ horses? Again, this isn't right. Arcfox GT up to 1600+ horses as I would suspect at about 215 to 218 MPH. The Blue Tech rule that looks like a McLaren. All that torque and 217 is the top speed? The red Dragonfly car $112K+ for a Suburu with an electric motor stuck up its butt. Are you serious? Also, these performance numbers can be bested by 30 year old ICE cars that look a hell of a lot better and have actual racecar history.
The low top speeds are probably due to the cars having ridiculously high drag due to high downforce. The NIO EP9, for example, can corner at 3 Gs despite weighing over 1.5 tons, thanks to its enormous downforce. The drawback however is that it’s top speed gets limited due to drag.
@@beanapprentice1687 Compared to say, the Bugatti Chiron with 1600 horses at 304.7 MPH that weighs about as much becuase if the motor and a butt-load of luxury items. It is a heavy gas car, and there are ICE cars on the street legally with V-8 engines that can easily do better than 200 MPH right now with less than 1,000 Horses. And since most are on Modern Musclecar/Sportscar chassises, they aren't lightweights either. No, Their is something wrong with the power output numbers.

Like the McLaren Speedtail looks like the 1987 Oldsmobile Aerotech from the land speed record with its turbo-charged 1,000 Horsepower Quad-4 engine. A 2.2L Four-cylinder engine.
