I feel like you could have used the universal randomizer to get Solosis which you couldn’t have gotten otherwise as a version exclusive and you would still have Munna encounter anyway

I've been sick recently so that's been part of it, but also I know that people want to take their time to play through the game before having a full playthrough blasted at them haha. I suggest you a Hardcore Nuzlocke of Pokemon HG or SS using only Johto bug type Pokémon till Lance, only Kanto bug type Pokémon till Blue and then the survivors together to face Red. A sort of 2 Hardcore Nuzlockes in 1! Stay strong and again congratulations from an italian fan.
Ghetsis is a hard hitting Pokémon trainer. He’s a nightmare with just power. It took me a thousand try’s to kill his team. You did awesome with the psychic types
You made me decide to play HeartGold on my DS again: found the DS but couldn't find the charger anywhere. Eventually decided "well, let's see what the battery's at anyway on it" ... mf was still at full battery. It's been years
I really like how u use puns and really do a good job promoting your sponsors. Most creators just insert it into but u really make it entertaining to watch an ad lol. Love the vids and keep up the good work boss💪
Woo, love me some Psychic types, especially in Gen 5. Not gonna lie, I used to absolutely despise Gen 5, and especially their Starters, but now it's one of my favorite Gens. I still don't particularly like Tepig's line, Oshawott's line is alright, and I love Snivy's line, who I used to absolutely loathe. Make sure to kick Ghetsis in the face for me!
Shame about the result but it was a really solid attempt nonetheless, with a bit more of luck in the last two battles you'd definitely succeeded. .P.S.: Odd you didn't consider Zen mode Darmanitan as a choice for this run truth to be told (it's Fire/Psychic after all)
I'm assuming the reason is because zen mode has to be at half health to be in zen mode, so it's kind of unusable for a nuzlocke unless you allow them to battle without being a psychic type 100% of the time, like how ampharos can only be used in a dragon run if it's mega evolved
Really unlucky !!! But yeah Black & White Ghetsis is brutal, the hydreigon (as shown here to silph dismay) is a run killer has so much coverage, hits like a truck, is rather fast and not fragile ! The Electross also depsite being slow has no weaknesses !
I attempted a Solosis solo-run of Black and White SOLELY because I wanted to do a Munna run, but then I discovered its lack of Psychic moves for the many Purrlions and Liepards in this game. Kudos to you for doing what I didn't have the willpower to sit through. And with level caps, no less
All those unlucky crits, stats drops and that stupid burn would’ve pissed me off beyond belief. I know this is a recount with voiceover but damn you handled that well.
Man this was brutal. First the Torchick vs Roxanne roadblock a few weeks ago and now this whole Munna Struggle situation, you just have to applaud Silph for the dedication. Shame to see him fail in the end, but it was a good run still considering the lack of options. Silph just seems to have bad luck with Pokemon Black runs.
Thanks for the vid Silph! I don't know if you'll read this, but I just wanted to say that I super appreciate your format! I love that you upload the run as is and if you make it past a certain point you don't just reset until you win. It makes the video so much more interesting not knowing if you'll get lucky and be able to pull it out in the end. I'd much rather watch a challenge run that was a loss with a great story than if every run was just ran until you won. Thanks again!

Haha, why you gotta throw shade at Ghetsis like that? “Bonus final battle”, I love how he’s treated as a big bad reveal on top of an already champion level encounter! White/Black made Team Plasma (particularly Ghetsis) feel like an actual threat, upending the entire league. Anyway great video as usual. Even if Ghetsis is a little cheap following the elite 4 and N and makes Gen 5 a bit harder in challenges. :p

In my own nuzlocke playthrough in Pokémon sapphire I saw a weird message from the nurse at the pokemon center. For the first time ever I had a pokemon randomly get infected with pokerus!!!
You missed the true nostalgia of pokemon . Red version was my first game , on a line green game boy color . I was only 5 but I still remember opening it that Christmas morning . I remember I had a level 72 pikachu before I finally made it out of mt. Moon , my older cousin had to help me out of there , main reason I remember it so well cause my pikachu would only listen every few attacks . I must’ve spent over a month in mt moon eradicating every subway, geodude and clefairy in the game . There was no googling the correct path out yet, only asking older kids to show you where to go or what to do next . . Eventually you could buy a book from krogers or Walmart with stickers showing you all 150 pokemon , till learning about new from a movie . Missing no. First being discovered in the games . Using a game shark to hack your game and acquire items or any pokemon you wanted . As far as nostalgic goes , by the time black and white was out pokemon was so far along , and watered down , and information so easily accessible . You totally missed the original hype and beginnings of the true pokemon craze when it first began . Not even knowing all 151 one of them even existed yet. Having to wake up at 6 am on Saturday mornings to be able to watch the newest episode of the manga when it literally first started appearing on kids w.b. . Getting to open your very first pack of cards , before they were made by wizards of the coast even . Made by topps and came with a huge peice of gum ( wizards of the coast were considered the real cards soon as they started though , no body wanted the topps lol) that’s what nostalgia is. It kind of like someone watching say Ironman 3 and saying man that’s nostalgic as fuck , having never even seen the first or second one yet though . I know it may be nostalgic to you( or really just a collective memory) but I’m just saying you truly missed out on the real hype of pokemon when it truly had first begun being 4 or 5 years old witnessing the true beginning and the most hype and advertised it ever was or was going to be . That shit was nostalgic
