MAIDEN! WITH GRASS OPS -ARROWS RC TREKKER PNP BY FAT GUY FLIES RC

Well I gotta tell ya this Arrows Rc Trekker did GREAT on it's grass ops maiden! As I told you I would I wanted to turn this RTF version into a PNP version and I did. I simply swapped out the Arrows stock receiver for a Spektrum AR410 4 channel receiver. **** UNDERSTAND**** If you want to keep the three flight modes offered in the RTF version (stability, dynamic, and direct) you will need a 6 channel receiver with the sbus lead from the Vector plugged into you gear channel. Then just assign a 3 position switch to your gear channel and get all three modes. With the 4 channel you plug the sbus into the data/bind port and power the vector system that will only have the DYNAMIC mode working. DYNAMIC = wind mitigation or their version of as3x.

Thanks for the grass Ops. I must say it surprised me, given the smallish wheels, how well it handled the grass. I really does appear to be a very decent plane at a decent price. I like that by increasing the throws you can make her more of a sport plane.
Ps. Flaps and lights and you'd really have something special.

I have to ask why did you purchase this one - at best it is a poor second to a lot of the other arrows Hobby High wing aircraft - I notice the colours are almost identical to the FMS Super EZ V4 - (and in design) - mind you arrows is made by FMS so no surprise really . I must say this is not one I will be looking at.. but thanks for the videos about it - Stay well.

Well HobbyZone invited me to be an Affiliate on their Arrows line. They suggested the Trekker RTF or PNP . I like the Vector system and I figured I would give this, " dorky looking" plane a shot. i was actually quite surprised. It is a solid flyer and very stable. The RTF was awkward for me not being able to use my NX10 and the supplied transmitter is very small in my hands , but I managed. I took the next leap with her and turned her into a PNP and used my Nx10. Now I am really liking this little plane and yes its quite simplistic but its good to go to grass root planes sometimes. After my debacle with the F-16 I need a breath of fresh air. Thanks for letting me bend your ear. You stay safe as well.

I just bought this plane from Hobby Zone and I didn't see any other comparable high wing arrows aircraft in that price range. It's the only >1m RTF trainer that I've found anywhere for
