  • Taking on the opportunity to program an AR8360T on my H9 Piper Pawnee Brave to make a short how to video, first to remember myself the next time I have to do it and second to give anyone some key pointers on how it is done. 10 steps!
1-setting up the plane on the bench with tail in flying position
    2-check orientation of the receiver
3-enable flight mode on a switch
    4-enter forward programming
    5-setting orientation of the receiver
6-assigning gain to a channel and the knob
7-enable AS3X on selected flight mode
    8-gain multiplication change
9-assign AS3X gain channel to flight mode switch
    10-digital switch setup
Hope it to be as helpful for you than it is for me

Thank you Stephane for creating this video on programming AS3X. Very well done and easy to follow.

Good & helpful video. Thank you Stephane. Along the line of being helpful, after I think I've got AS3X set up correctly, I always forget to advance the throttle sufficiently to activate AS3X in my airplanes. I go nuts sometimes trying to figure out what I did wrong in the programing steps.

Glad it helped you, I was tired to look at 30+ minutes video to remember myself how to do it, so I decided to eat the blet and do one, at least for me ;-)

    1. When the gain channel output is at -100% (knob fully CCW), the AS3X gain is 0%. At +100% (knob fully CW), the AS3X gain is 100% of the maximum gain setting. And at 0% (knob mid-position) the AS3X gain Is 50% of the maximum, not 0%.
    2. Switch D should be used for flaps. If the plane doesn’t have flaps, switch D shouldn’t be used for something else.
