    I've had my armegas with Hiper lens for 4 days now and I love them. The HIper is no gimmick and it does help. Be warned, they scratch very easily, I tryed to clean them with the bag that comes in the box and it put a hairline scratch in them. It's not visable when you wear them but it's still there regardless. How ever when I went for a ride 2 days after that happened I got blasted with rocks and there is not a dent or scratch in them. They are a very solid goggle and I would recommend them for anyone.

      Interesting. Some materials that can easily scratch usually have a better impact resistance than their scratch-proof counterpart.

    I'm getting a dirt bike soon. You guys are the only. I repeat ONLY Channel doing product review like this for this type of stuff. I'll literally look at the videos multiple times. I'm going to go to my local retails to try on helmets boots goggles but I'm going to shop with you guys no doubt. Thanks for what you do.

    Great video! Love your unbiased presentation. I work in a parts department at a motorcycle shop and I saw in the 2021 catalog a roll-off system for the Armega is coming soon! I didn't see them in stock at the moment but something to note if that's a deal breaker for you 100% will have that available. Thanks for the videos, it really helps me give the best recommendations to my guests!

    I have used both of them for over a year...I had to cut foam out of the nose part on the Vue's as it was really uncomfortable and pushed down on my nose. I tend to reach for the armegas with the Hiper lens more often than not.

    I have a couple pair of VUE's. The lens is great and they fit great. Fox warranty has been great, becuase I have used it three times. The thin foam along the bottom of the frame has torn three times on 2 pair (2 times on one pair and once on the other). They are easy to service/clean. Lenses are pricey.

    Confirmed: Armega's do not fit all the way in my Alpinestars M10 size small. I don't mind it though, I just let the goggle nose plate rest on the helmet nose guard. Some others may find it weird though.

    Do you notice a difference on the Armega between Hiper and the normal tinted lenses?

    • @rmatvmc
      @rmatvmc  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      To be honest, I don't notice too much difference. What I do like about it is it help dim the sun but isn't too dark when you get some cloud cover. - Chase

    What’s better about the armega vs the racecraft +? If I were to choose only one I’d go with the 100% i like the bigger look and they look like their top notch where fox kind of looks a little plain jane

    • @rmatvmc
      @rmatvmc  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The Armega is much easier to swap out a lens, has the more secure locking system for the lens, and the sweat gutter. The strap is also a little wider too.

    is it worth goin the hiper len or does the normal lens do a similar job, also has anyone compared the difference between the normal armega lens(not hiper) and the vues lens, any thoughts. thanks

    • @rmatvmc
      @rmatvmc  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Jake, I've ridden with both the hyper and standard lens on the Armega and to me, it doesn't matter either way which one I'm using. I do like the tint of the Hiper red. It dims the sunlight just enough but it's still pretty good in shade and shadows. I was just out riding with Hunter and Jett Lawrence in Oregon and they both were using a clear lens. As for the Vue, there lenses are just as good as the Armega IMO - Chase

      Leatt 6.5 velocity or even the VSN goggles. I've tried on several pairs of glasses with the VSN and they work well, and they're less than 20$!!!! - Chase

    one thing to take into consideration, you tested them on a motocross track, I have to say the vue does eventually steam in hard enduro scenarios for me, you know that slow riding, sweating and stuck on a rock for couple of minutes. but hey, what goggle doesn't! compared to other goggles I would have to say, big thumbs up for me. one more thing, most of the time i'll just remove the goggles unless it's a very bushy trail and eye protection is key!

    • @jakewaggoner4196
      @jakewaggoner4196 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah a double pane lenses would be better for that slow stuff. The 100% are vented well but this allows more dirt into the goggles. Classic give and take. I like the Vue more because they feel smaller on my face similar to the Airbrake.

    I have the Armega, and the sweat gutter does work.
    When I get super sweaty, I can feel the sweat running down my cheeks, right in line with the gutter.
    And my goggles NEVER get sweat on the lenses.
