@@gabudaichamuda2545 Toy Magician isn’t a good choice for this engine. Both Soldier and Tank have effects that work if they’re “Sent to the GY”. Magician only works if it’s destroyed by an opponents card effect. Meaning Souls can’t start its effect and the on-field effects of Toy Box won’t allow it to trigger should you destroy your own Magician. It has to be your opponent that destroys it for you to get value from it. Even if it did work off our own effects, it would still be a lackluster payoff since you’d have to wait until the End Phase to destroy any backrow. Toy Magician is unplayable in this.
I love dark magician decks. You can get some really hype turnarounds, but it never feels like I'm just playing solitaire for 5 minutes then winning, like with CERTAIN other decks
This is totally a new way to play dark magician, f*cking love this. Also, the toy box engine is lore accurate since it rappresents the innocent of YuGi childhood, before Atem came out. Awesome as always sir
I personally try to squeeze in Sage's stone because if I get that and magician's soul in my hand I can summon dark magician girl off of soul and then sages stone to summon dark magician
5:45 Im also playing a similar deck and in addition to Cartesia I also play Goddess with the third eye as a search target for toy soldier because it can replace the blue-eyes ultimate dragon and with the illusion of chaos you can easily bring Master Magia. for now im only running this in master duel because who the f*ck have a real master magia card on hand but anyways, I´ll play it as proxy or when he have an payable reprint
You do it by first fusion summoning dusk dragon which lets you send a light or dark monster from the extra deck which would be apkallone which in turn gets you shaddoll schism to use for wenda
Hey uh this is a big ask but could you come up with a fire king salamangreat deck with no snake eyes or diabellstar, Ill ask until it happens, thank you
@NICK-yq7gn 11:00 I explained it here. Use dusk dragon to send apkallone, search schism then set it. On your opponent’s turn use schism to summon winds by banishing apkallone and another dark.

Right now DM is all over the place. Rod can be played 0-3 depending on what other engines you play. There’s more than 1 normal summon in Toy Box DM. No need to play 3

Honest question: Why not play Toy Magician? He'd have synergy with the Deck as a Spellcaster right?

Lots of people are using the Toy Engine in Dark Magician decks, but I was inspired by his light monsters Blazing Cartesia and Quem.
All the unique techs in these list is really cool and intriguing
So far this has been a pretty fun deck to play! Thanks for the list!

Who runs 2 copies of Magician's Rod? Very unusual, but everyone's DM deck is different I suppose.
