    Thank you for being so open and honest. You really are amamzing with all you share on here!!!!
    Mistakes are ment to be made , that's how we all learn.
    It was a lot of money but forgive yourself and move forward 😊
    Be kind to yourself, feels like your being extra hard on self :-(
    You are so careful and save save save all the time and yes it would have been way better to have spent that on something fun for you and family but just let this one go and like you said the raise money is coming at perfect moment and just move forward :-)
    I had no idea this was possible so thank you for sharing and now I can pass this info on to others as well. I'm sure many have done exact same thing for a quick drop off. I know I have for sure at grocery store with my grandmother or mother . Thinking it's easier on them for shorter walk in. I'm not sure if same here in Canada but I bet it is and this was a huge eye opener for me. So thank you for just being you and sharing all you do with us....the good and the bad 😊
    It helps others 😊
    Take care and have a hope you have a good week 🌼🌸🌼🌸🌼🌸🌼

      I love commenting lol sometimes I hold back so I'm not flooding you with them 😜 hahaha!!! Sometimes I come across someone on here and I think wow we would be great friends in "real" life and I think that about you guys 😊
      I just think your a amazing family working so hard towards your goals and it's very inspiring 😊😊😊
      Lol I couldn't not say anything to that one comment. Usually I know it's best to not engage with people who are negative but I was just like man that's just too much for me LOL !!!
      We are doing great, feels funny to think how stressful everything was this time last year planning the wedding :-)
      Now I think yay this summer will be so much more fun and relaxing with more time to spend doing all the fun summer things.......if only the weather would at lest get to spring like for us here in Ontario so that summer can come eventually LOL
      Hope you guys are doing great also !!!
      Look forward to more videos.....Lol squeeze a couple vlogs in when you have time so can see those cuties of yours. Gosh they getting soooooooo big!
      Take care 🌸🌼

    My husband recently got a ticket for having his cell phone in his hand while driving. We were at the stop light and he just picked it up.... wasn’t even talking or texting. Just having it in his hand cost us $400! He bought the phone holder for his dashboard the very next day... lesson learned!

      Jenn Trinidad whaaaaat!?!? I think about that all the time when I have my phone but never heard of anyone getting a ticket for that. Thanks for sharing!

    • @Earthy247
      @Earthy247 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Budget Geek I live in Hawaii. It is now illegal to talk, text, or even hold your phone while driving. It is also illegal to text or talk on your phone (without a handset) while crossing the street! I guess better safe than sorry!

    I think one thing to consider is that this is a lesson learned and be glad the cops are actually alert and monitoring the school.

      Cristina Velarde yes I should've mentioned that I am glad there are a lot of cops around the school, especially these days..

    I understand how you feel I will be kicking myself in the butt.. I will also think of it like a donation to the city... just so it won't hurt to much lol. when ever my husband will get a parking ticket where we live because parking is a struggle here in CA I will think of it as a donation to our city ...

    It use to be $100. I had the tag over 20 years ago and some how it fell off the mirror. I had to take it in to prove I actually had it so they dismissed the ticket. You obviously learned your lesson. You paid the fine and it hit you in the pocketbook. I'm sure you won't make that mistake again. Don't beat yourself up for it you learned an expensive lesson.

    Yes we all have made dumb mistakes. Here’s mine 😂😂 I was washing my car and this guy and his family approached me. Very well dressed and all. He told me they’ve been robbed and they live in Florida,and needed money to get back and offer me all his jewelry for money he beg and he grabbed my hand almost kissed them begging. I believed him and exchanged $400 for the jewelry thinking that was enough gas money and food.I cried and was sad for a couple of days and couldn’t believe someone would use a child for a scam. I moved on and learned from my expensive experience.

    Gnome way! That can't be right!!!!! Our school zones are patrolled often which is good but t the tickets are high here too, but there is no way we pay that much !!!!!!! If anything this is a good reminder to the rest of us to pay attention and be aware of the laws. I've pulled a u turn in a school zone and that is a huge no no . We are all human Hun

    On the bright side, at least you weren’t on baby step 2 with this kind of ticket. I don’t understand stressing about money when you are past baby step 3. That $500ish will be replenished soon.

    Been there, except it was a red light ticket. I wasn’t working when I got it (I was with my abusive first husband) and he refused to pay it, nearly 600$ I was selling stuff and trying to earn the money. It taught me a lesson though! I will try my hardest to not do anything like that ever again.

    Aww man. That is a pretty expensive ticket though jeez! It was a gray area don’t beat yourself up though. My story is we refinanced our home and that cost was added to our new home loan. Then we sold the house like 8 months later. 🤔 dumb. That was like 2k I believe because we didn’t recoup that in those 8 months so we shouldn’t have refinanced basically. Still kills me. I also got a ticket for speeding in a school zone when I was a teenager 😒

    My oldest son took speech at the elementary we were zoned to before he started kindergarten. I was running late and there was no parking. The school had a u shaped drop off driveway......so I thought I would just pull over to the side and wouldn’t be in the way. Plus it was no where near time for kids to be picked up or dropped off. No biggie, right? Well.....I didn’t realize it was considered a fire lane. And it just so happened that the fire marshall was doing inspections that day. He started with writing me a ticket. 😢. And the kicker is my husband is a firefighter 😬.

    • @jessicaashley8907

    I parked in a handicapped space the other day. My Husband has had a stroke recently and we are waiting for his sticker to come through, but I knew I risked getting caught as I wasn't showing one, I just considered it a risk worth taking. Stop being so hard on yourself I'm sure most people have done it at one time or another.

    I see on the signs there's a fine up to one g. I see people chilling in them, shoot, I see people chilling in their ride in places they shouldn't be parked. I think most people who use those, feel like you, just a minute. That's a lot of chedda, maybe it was from Serbia.lol. I have had my share of shelling out clams for tickets. Paying them SUUUUCKS. It's all regret, and replaying of the past. TFS

  • @twelvesmylimit
    @twelvesmylimit 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    I can't believe you were fined that much for such a minor thing. You weren't even properly parked and could've moved if necessary. Like you said, there were other disabled spaces available!
    Ugh. Well, it's done now.
    Lovely to see you and the kids again. :)

      Feel like this comment is unnecessary and is very harsh ! She appologised and NO one is perfect not even you. She is open and honest with us about something on her channel to share how she feels and express her regret and you tell her to feel ashamed ????? Hope you act perfect every second of your days judging others this way !

    • @janeneilar5168
      @janeneilar5168 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Katie M I'm disabled, and therefore feel it was not harsh but a reality check!!

      @katiem6059 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Janene Ilar
      I too have a disability and look at things a lot different than you I guess. Your Reality checks really weren't needed here, she clearly felt terrible and knew her mistake. Ashamed is such a big word to use ...... I just think that was so negative and unnessasary for a channel that is so positive and honest and brings others auch joy !!!
      Never in a million years would that have been my response to someone who came on here, shared something so private and who said they felt bad already.
      Our world is filled with such hate all the time, sure would be nice If people took a minute and put positivity in where they could have been negative.
      Imagine the difference in our world!!!
      Guess that's just my "Reality Check" to pass on for today !!!
