The lasers are actually really interesting because it’s actually a incredibly smart way to grow crops by reducing the amount of pesticides used to battle off weeds. It will also help to reduce the amount of pesticide resistant weeds to begin with because it’s completely removing them from the gene pool of plants all together by burning them. It’s so freaking cool. I’m going to look up more information on it.
You're assuming it fully kills the weed, it looks to me like it simply destroys the surface structure and ignores the root, meaning that this must be done regularly.
@@oldyellerschannel4676 I mean yeah, but farming requires a lot of pesticide use to begin with to temporarily destroy weeds during the growing season. It’s bad for the environment overall, so removing these weeds temporarily by ways of heat not only reduces the amount of pesticides used but it also reduces the number of pesticide resistant plants and bugs in that area. Also plants can’t live without certain parts of it intact. Depending on the type of weed and what the AI is targeting it could kill the weed off completely. I can’t speak for the weeds that will route in the field via natural means (i.e. bird’s pooping in it, wind spreading seeds, or simply the farmers tracking seeds in with their shoes from another location) but depending on what part of the plant is targeted the it could just completely kill it overall. If you want to learn more on it though, I highly suggest you do independent research. If you’re skeptical about something it’s always better to do a bit of research and make a informed decision instead of just assuming what’s happening based on looks alone. The company that’s builds these machines has a video on the product that’s very interesting. I had it posted in the comments here but it looks like it was removed so you’ll have to look it up independently. Let me know what you find out! I’m actually really interested in different opinions.
@@averyjohnson8605 I think it's safe to assume that the weeds won't come back. Lasers can easily penetrate deep enough to do severe damage to the sensitive roots underground. The dead plant was probably heated up so quickly that any and all water evaporated from it, as well. Generally speaking.. most organisms struggle to survive after being heated up to the temperature of plasma. And even if any weeds survived, it would only take one or two sweeps of herbicides to kill off the rest. In turn, it reduces the amount of pesticides used! Personally I think your opinion was the better one..

@infamouspigvr1467 "Indignation" is the fact or instance of being _indignant,_ which pretty much means "feeling as if one were treated unfairly." It's related to the word "dignity" - _in-dignant_ - as in, having one's dignity taken away. "Palpable" literally means "tangible" or "able to be experienced through the sense of touch." However, the OP used "palpable" in a figurative sense, meaning "so apparent that you can almost physically sense it." This figurative sense is super common, btw.
What I’m saying is, that’s how people react to dangerous situations these days. Could be a robbery, a fight, a fire, and that’s what they do before helping somebody or something.
@@ErLeuchten imagine using a word like “anatomy” to act like a cat cannot be hurt whatsoever hanging from the top of a garage. They’re athletic and land on their feet, but it doesn’t mean they don’t have spills. You can find entire cat compilations of them missing jumps and flailing like clumsy fools as they fail.
That ladies first instinct was to take a picture of her cat. What has this world come to Edit: i know that cat wasn’t in any real danger. Its just sick that her *first* instinct or action was to take a picture instead of helping the cat.
I mean that cat wasn't going to die anyways there's no way there was a conveniently placed spike below the cat so that when it fell it would impale it not to mention how did it even get up there.
Golden retrievers are known for being almost too friendly. Now, were this a German Shepherd or a Dobermann Pinscher, the situation would most probably have been very different.
Have you ever heard of the saying: “cats always land on their feet”? Yeah, thats because they’re biologically FORMED to be able to always land on their feet unharmed?
You can tell the guy who jumped in the first clip is a real one. He wasn't even the one who messed up or the one proposing either, he just saw a shitty situation and literally dived right in to help
for those wondering how the magic trick worked: there were completely different people in the other box just dressed the same, you can see the differences if you zoom in, the guy in the shorts got like 4 inches shorter. you can clearly see the box where they "dissapeared" shaking as they climbed out when the curtains were down.
Most illusion tricks with people use twins. They didn't crawl out though, that would've been impossible with a crowd of people around it. They simply hid in the suspiciously thick base.
It doesn't require them to get in or out. The walls of the boxes have mirrors in them that bend the light around the people so you see what's behind the box instead of inside them. The reason why they rotate is to hide the visual distortions this causes.

@@krashd
Weeds are weeds.
They always grow back...your point?
How does it know what's weed and what is not
@@oldyellerschannel4676 I mean yeah, but farming requires a lot of pesticide use to begin with to temporarily destroy weeds during the growing season.

@@Ecco502 They’re words from the dictionary…regularly used in conversation with well educated individuals…
@infamouspigvr1467 "Indignation" is the fact or instance of being _indignant,_ which pretty much means "feeling as if one were treated unfairly." It's related to the word "dignity" - _in-dignant_ - as in, having one's dignity taken away.
"Palpable" literally means "tangible" or "able to be experienced through the sense of touch." However, the OP used "palpable" in a figurative sense, meaning "so apparent that you can almost physically sense it." This figurative sense is super common, btw.

for those wondering how the magic trick worked:
there were completely different people in the other box just dressed the same, you can see the differences if you zoom in, the guy in the shorts got like 4 inches shorter. you can clearly see the box where they "dissapeared" shaking as they climbed out when the curtains were down.
Lol I love how you guy's have 'figured' it out 😂😂😂😂
