is the phase - tan^-1( w/3) because of sqrtw and sqrt9 so img/real? ...why is it minus? is it because it's 1/w+3?

I'm not sure how the complex numbers have been derived from any of your examples. I know how to calculate comex numbers but not sure how you have derived them.
