Would be interesting when you get to the single wiper (can you show in a bit more detail when you get to it) - all of the passenger side on my track car is completely empty so I am thinking can I change to just a single screen wiper. Not sure what the MOT / TUV man is going to say (as my car is still road legal) but I might ask him beforehand. It is probably clear from some web reading....
I will show it in detail, but I will also be using E36 compact rear wiper motor and blade ( at least that is the idea right now ) so I won't be DIY friendly...
@@mattwillow7 Yes, I had thought about using a Fiat Uno wiper motor, but the windscreen is tall on the Fiat - whereas the screen on the Mini is quite wide and narrow. I thought with a single wiper that covers both sides on the Fiat, would mean that the wiper blade would sweep very high. I would assume the E36 compact rear is a one / single speed motor? So, okay for autocross but not for normal road use....
@@edwardgurhy100 Hm, Uno motor looks like it would be a very good solution, shouldn't be to hard to install, but wiper arm would be too long for sure because of the narrow windscreen. As for the E36 motor, it has an intermittent mode + 1 speed, I have to take it apart and then I'll know more, but the reach of the arm also isn't the best for daily use, there will be big spots top left and top right which will not be covered
I got the same sports manifold as you and mine fitted first time without any fabrication but I was wondering with the sound do you get a kind of flute/ whistling noise sometimes when your at half revs or above? I have already checked for leaks and haven’t found any
@@mattwillow7I do have a short ram air pod filter on my car do you think it could be just a lot of air getting in? I can hear the faint whistle from the front of the car and at the exhaust tip

Nope, no wierd sounds, just a bit louder
It seems to be going the more I drive the car so I don’t think it’s an exhaust leak
