- I teamed up with two of my friends to recreate Mario Kart in Minecraft - I built 4 iconic tracks from the games, while my friends coded a datapack that adds game features to Minecraft.

If Nintendo has any sense, they'll reach out to see about adding these maps and data packs to the Switch _Minecraft_ Marketplace.
They couldn’t do that even if they wanted to, datapacks are only on Java

18:00 grazzy wanted to make 8D and made double dash instead
12:10 if you put a player in spectator and do the command /spectate you can put the player onto a display entity which can rotate its camera in every angle so you can actually rotate the camera, and in the next update they are adding WASD, space bar, and shift detection (purely from a single command) so you could probably make antigravity work.
You're correct about the new input detection system, and the controls are *so much better* with them. The display entity spectating thing is not true, though. When spectating a display entity, the only relevant data is the display entity's Pos and Rotation nbt, not any of its transformation nbt. The transformation nbt only affects the actual visual display of the item or block being displayed.

I used to build so much in minecraft years ago, and tried to come back to it. (i build by hand, i'm just built different)
These builds are so cool. I get so happy everytime Grazzy uploads. And unlike a lot of videos where i just listen to the audio mostly, these got my full attention.
This is some of the most awesome map-building I've ever seen, coming from an insane Mario Kart 8 fan.
Only two things are guaranteed in life: taxes and Grazzy forgetting to record things.

Dude... that was so cool!!! And you used my favorite Rainbow Road track! Glad Yoshi Circuit and Bowser's Castle turned out well too - even if the latter was struck by limitations. Everything looks great! And personally, Coconut Mall SHOULD have more coconuts, I totally agree with you on that one.
i feel like it would be a cool idea to take advantage of the players sticking together. maybe to perhaps make the mariokart datapack but with double dash physics. it would probably be very fun and chaotic at the same time.

The person making the mod should make the glitch an actual optional feature where the person driving can’t use items but their passenger can and allow them to swap out so it can be like double dash

With regards to all the moving obstacles: have you considered using the Create mod? It has blocks that allow you to move whole stuctures like that on pistons, rotate them, or even mount them on minecarts.

This is super cool, you did some great building, and the mechanics from Craiy and Howzieky are great!
However, you lose marks because you didn't include the shortcut exclusive to the GC version of Yoshi Circuit.

The bug sounds like something that can be applied for a double dash mechanic, since I believe that was the game with co-drivers.
