@@mtso1122 Sort of depends on your network, but I've run a camera through a USB interface in to my computer, and a camera through NDI and they were in sync. In other words, I wasn't getting any more latency with NDI then through a USB interface.
Thank you. I used to try NDI for video distribution by using gigabit network, there are some minor delay. It might be just my network issue. Thanks again!
Great Video. Is there a way to DSK graphics/titles/Thirds from OBS to a switcher like ATEM Mini or OSEE GoStream? For example, I use proclaim presenter to DSK lower third graphics to the GoStream while recording or streaming no OBS. I know how to run the GoStream switcher USB into OBS as a video source. But I want to do the opposite if that makes sense. Use OBS not to stream, but as a graphics source and stream from the switcher. Thanks in advance and great video.
You could, but unless you have a decklink card in your computer to get a key & fill output (eg two SDI lines) you would have to do the keying on the GoStream/Atem. You'll only get a single feed out of OBS on an HDMI output, so you'll have to use Chroma keying or Luma keying to remove background and overlay that on your video content. If you want to do that, just connect an HDMI output from your computer to the switcher and set it up as an extended display. Then open OBS and right-click on the monitor and go to "Full Screen Projector" option and select your HDMI output. The output from OBS will now go to that HDMI output.
Great Video! please can anyone link video or share solution to achieve this: Goal using OBS: - slideshow: Images slides in. - Then corresponding animated texts follows a few 2 seconds after. - Both image and animated text slides out together after a pause.
You can do things like this in just about any graphics/presentation software. Don't think of OBS as the content generator. Think of it as the video switcher. Create the content in PowerPoint or Canva, or whatever and bring that into OBS using the method I show in the video.
What I did in this video was created with Pro Presenter, but we actually use Song Show Plus in our main Sanctuary and Pro Presenter in our youth rooms.
Hey there, actually there is a way better solution with one of the newer updates from propresenter. It's with an NDI-Screen as the output screen for livestream with alpha key with transparent background.
Super helpful, we just got a second camera and you just got me the answers I need!
Great job! Thank you for all your very useful videos!
Again, thank you so much for your video. It's very helpful and informative.👍
So thankful to find this. Thank you, Stephen. Have you experienced any downsides or troubles with this plugin?
Not really, no, it's been very useful for what it is!
Great Video such a helpful
Love from india 🇮🇳
Thank you Ballast
Very useful
Clear and concise. How are you ingesting your PTZ cameras to your laptop? Power over Ethernet (POE) cameras?
For this video, I'm using NDI.
@@BallastMedia May i know if there is any latency issue with NDI?

@@BallastMedia Thank you. Very well explained as was the video. Definite Sub. Thank you for your help!
How many dsks can you set up, and could you implement this tatic with hardware pieces like a physical switcher and steam deck?
Cool ❤ 😎
