Very difficult to own a car especially in Metro cities for someone like me. The thought of immediate depreciation of my hard money puts me off instantly. As far as possible, I wish to delay my buy. The taxes one pay, the headache of parkings, run cost are too high for middle class people.
Same here man, I have a home loan too. I actually wanted a Honda City(Automatic) but practically, even after 2-3 years of saving, I can probably afford only a 10L car like Amaze or i20.
reality of life. my suggestion is to buy a used car 3-4 years old outright. There are good cars in the market and now a days vendors offer warranty too
3 year old car wont be available at a 40% discount to the market price. Thats what happens realistically and buying not so old used cars may not make a lot of sense considering the unreliability..
@@sagarpaperwalaAt the lowest 6-figues a month, you'd at least be earning 1.2cr a year. If you're earning that much, go ahead and pick up any car up to ₹50L. You'll be fine.
Thats right. Because there will be other expenses fromnyour salary as well towards living costs. And also other than emi theres fuel, servicing, insurance. Feels so good to give this gyan when i myself did not follow it when buying my first car in my 20s😅😂. But now in early 40s n good income i dont want to spend even 5 percent of monthly income on emi. Honest advice, if you dont have other loans, have decent savings and emergency fund in place, then go for what your heart desires. The joy of owning a car will change with age and time
20/4/10 is a useless rule...ik it is financially healthy but not realistic...imo 20/30/50 is better where you 30 is for your luxuries if you can manage in that you should be good and if you can do 40% down payment they you can be in a pretty good position
Being an honest police officer, if i follow the 20-4-10 rule, i cant even afford a base model of Alto. We too have a family, having a car is not only a need but also a emotion. Sometimes emotional decisions are far superior than financial decisions
What a stupid idiotic comparison. A sedan is more expensive than a compact SUV due to the additional tax. First do your homework work and then do a comparison

Actually, getting a right used car can save lakhs
Great explanations! Engaging and informative 👏
So if my take home monthly salary is 50K INR then my emi should not be greater than 5K
So basically I can't afford any car 😅

Did you know that the percentage of people earning ₹350,000 per month in India is likely in the single digits, possibly even less than 1%?....😅
Plz make a video in english so that every indians can understand
25% of annual salary on a creta sx 2024
Although cars provide a higher level of comfort compared to SUVs, we unwisely follow the trend of the majority.
Percent nhi kitne sal ki salary lagayi😅
Wrong calculations consideration...wast of time..
