Thank you. I have received several emails from people who shared that they own valuable items but lack adequate insurance. It's a reminder that we should always prioritize insurance over discretionary spending.

Few questions kapl sir - very good video 1. ur spouse supported you in al this? 2. How is your lifestyle and what all compromises you made apart from a normal marrige 3. How should salaried people like me start pls pls answer
The support of a spouse is the backbone of any journey, and family support makes all the difference. I have been fortunate to have my spouse and family by my side every step of the way. Our lifestyle remained balanced, and I don’t feel we had to make any compromises along this journey
Very realistic podcast. Thanks Wint team. We want one more detailed podcast with him, you haven't asked about home loan or whether he has bought home or not. His views on Mutual Funds. If he watches this, kindly share your views bro. Much appreciated !

Kapil what are your views on DINK (Double income no kids) FIRE (Financial Independence Retire early) and if you can highlight the complete process for a salaried person to start the financial planning
Considering his age and the already existing corpus, he can end up with much more than 5 crores by the time he is 60. Maybe he shouldn't have so much in index funds. Instead should go for active funds as the Index fund bubble has burst. People hyped them up too much but many good active funds have beaten their benchmarks easily.
Retiring with 5 cr at 60 is very very underestimation. He's at 1.6 cr at 36. Even without adding anything, at 7% ROI, 1.6 cr would become 8.1 cr in 24 years.

All good except spent 7-8 lacks for 1 month south indian trip...seems too good to be true...max it could have been to 1-2 lacks.(May be if its 5 star hotels then also max 3-4 lack). This guy would've gotten a nice abroad trip for 7 lacks( but still its good to explore india first but 7 lacks seems unrealistic also knowing the fact that its 5-6 years back). Also btw a basic wedding is good for 200 - 300 people( Giving food to peopls is a good practice as its just once in lifetime. Don't go too luxury. Dont go too simple. Keep in middle. just treat it as charity and it will come back to you eventually.
