CASTER WHEELS WITH BRAKES WILL MAKE A MASSIVE DIFFERENCE! I like you're take on the board storage cart, great vid. As for the brakes... I have a 3m long double sided board rack in a double garage not much larger than yours. If you have the option to lock a brake in one corner the cart can pivot from that spot. This really comes in handy when you have it stored next to a wall or shelving and you need to access behind one end. Pull out one end you need to access, get what you need, then push it back to exactly where it was before. With no brakes the opposite end will move as well and more than likely hit something you don't want it to (...if you are as starved for space as much as me. If you're not, then you soon will be :-)). Another thing to be aware of is that these things get heavy, really heavy! Don't skimp on casters. Make sure your wheels can take more than you think they'll need to. The bigger the wheel, the easier it is to start moving. Good luck with your future projects and best wishes for the future of your channel.
Your idea with using just one brake is a great idea. With it all loaded up it’s pretty heavy but still moves where I want it to. Thanks so much for watching 👍
The struggle is real! Here's a tip: Buy 2x8s or 2x12s and then rip them down to size. They last longer on the shelves and and are more often dried out so the warping and twisting is mostly done and they won't move too much after bringing them home. 2x4s sell a lot faster so often times they are fairly moist on the shelf and can be unpredictable in their movement.
These types of clamps are very expensive but really come in handy when no other clamp will work. Unfortunately these clamps have a finite shelf life before they are pretty useless.

3/4" plywood is still around $80 to $100 a sheet where I am (Utah), but there's a TON of homebuilding going on. I wish there was a good video on good plywood alternatives...(hint, hint). :)

I love brilliant, but comme on now I look over critical:. Remove every 2by4, what’s left is nearly a giant torsion box, make that work. For economy four wheels will do, maybe just stay shy of the corners to make it look balanced/car like. Use scraps, for me a good scrap cart must look like patchwork otherwise it’s a junk cart.

@@DudeSawdust indeed I did a full sheet length version with one single sheet and scraps (no 2by4) and it lacks on esthetics. For the wheels I used 4 pairs of small 3 dollar wheels without any bottom frame to reduce the height as the top is also a miter saw station.

I wish I could find 2x4's that look that straight. Seems all I kind find as of late are pretzels.
