got a write up of your mods done somewhere? did you have to do many things to aid in fitting the 4" lift and 35's? (diff drop? center bearing lowering, center bearing strengthening. brake lines, etc?)
Thanks for the videos man, just a question tho, I have an MQ standard set up and are thinking about a 1 or 2 inch lift. Can I drive 33 inch rubber with just a 1 inch lift. Will the 2 inch cause vibration and more expense thanks
Hey mate, I've got a 2016 MQ Triton on a 2 inch lift. The lift causes a slight bit of vibration but nothing to write home about. As for the tires, I've heard of people throwing 33's on just fine, but you've gotta do a lot of play with the offset and even then you'll get some scrub. I run 32 Falken Wildpeaks and they scrub just slightly at full lock and full flex
The only triton worth owning is the GXLR ML MN 3.2lt TD 2008/9... Super select gearbox central locker.... and the same engine made for Dacar Rally same year.... 1st in it's class....... set the stage for all trucks in same class form then on......
Great video mate. Did not know the MQ is so capable. I own one MQ as well. Thanks.
Great vid mate and nice driving by both. Was waiting for that 105 wheel hop cv snap ;)
the traction control in that triton is somthing else
Thats a good looking rear bumper bro what is it thanks
Fark that triton goes really well... made it all look easy... that 105 with all the gear was spinning up more.. needs lockers big time.
Any chance of a walk around of the mq showing mods and opinions about them?
One day soon mate, it'll happen!
I have a stock standard one but wanna make it a bit better. Don't need lift but snorkel? Diff breather kit? Love to know more about this one
mate where did you get the your mq front recovery points from?
Don't they have locking diffs?
Sick wheel lift at 6.38
Mate! I am blown away with just how capable your Triton is. You have inspired me to modify my MQ. What tyre size is that? 285/75?
Hey mate, yes they are a 285/75r16
Cheers mate
Hey mate, where did you get your sliders and side rails? how much were they? looks mint
All the barwork is by Rockarmor and they were about the $800 mark
@@Discover4x4Adventures each, or both the rail and sliders?
Kyle Barnes That’s for both mate
@@Discover4x4Adventures thanks mate, ive been looking but i cant seem to find them anywhere?
Kyle Barnes Aussie off-road Perth is where I bought them from mate
What tyres are you running on the MQ?
What lift is in the Triton?
4inch front and 2 inch rear by Drivetech 4x4

just saw your other video haha
front auto locker would be great for your triton
Your next mod should be a rear locker
Great video guys

Lockers vs open diff. Not really a comparison
time to add a front lokka
Ah, now I see why you don't buy used and modified 4WDs.
Can’t drive it so just floor it? Rough as fuck
