I’m glad that you have found this lecture useful, and productive for your research and dissemination designing and writing ✍️ process. So nice of you for your sharing your thoughts and insights on the lecture.
The lecture is as useful as your every lecture is for us students. Very simple and effective way of explaining. But you're looking exceptionally good in blue tie sir.
So nice of you for sharing your thoughts and feedback about the quality of the lecture. I feel honored and happy to know that it’s really helpful for you to understand the cross-sectional research design. And thanks for liking and appreciating the blue tie.
After watching this vedio cross sectional design becoms my one of the most favorite design 😂 so i recommend to others also . To watch this and show consensus with me .
Glad to know that you’ve found the cross-sectional design the most interesting one among the four research designs. In my view, it’s simplest one and most used in research especially mass communication research. Let’s see who agree with our conclusions.
Addition : as in experimental design we can create or study the casual relationship between the variables so we called them as ( INDEPENDENT VARIABLE, and DEPENDANT VARIABLE) but in cross sectional we study about the varitions between the varaible so they are called as ( CO-VARIANTS). This addition help you at a point when u write or describe the difference between experimental design or cross sectional design.
Yeah, very explicitly identified the difference between the variables between both designs. Variables in experimental design are labelled as an independent and dependent variables whereas, in a cross-sectional design they are covariant and labelled as predictors and outcome variables.
Thanks for sharing such a detailed response and clear distinction between them. And glad to hear that you’re are finding them useful and helpful for having clear understanding about read designs.
Yes, definitely. Actually, there is one similarity. The second point deals with the analysis of cross-sectional data. It is not the similarity to experimental research design. I hope it stands clarified now!
so similarities with experimental design, in the second point gender cannot be manipulated so that's why it is similar to experimental design, other than gender(variable) there is no enough point to relate both? isn't?
Actually, the point is that data is collected at one point in time in cross sectional design and that one point resembles to the post test or an experimental research design.
Carving my work to perfection by rewatching this super easy and composed video!

Sir plz explain more than one case in cross sectional design and content analysis along with survey also comes under cross sectional design
@Madhia, cross-sectional is a research design and survey and content analysis are methods for data collection;therefore, they are different.

Will you elaborate Cross sectional design's second similarity with the experimental design more?
