    I don't want any smelly hair products or an itchy scalp. so I wash my hair one week with head & shoulders mint and the next week with a mild shampoo. for leave in use simple Camilla Rose leave in conditioner and seal in with Jojoba oil ♥️, my hair grows slowly but who cares it has to melt good then I'm happy 😊

      Hi Sara! I wanted to love Head & Shoulders but for some reason it seemed to irritate my scalp. 😔 I tried it multiple times. I’m glad it works for you though. Slow growth is still growth. You’re doing the right things, friend. 😊👍🏾

    Great hair goals! Glad I found your channel as I’m over 50 and have fine hair. I too have to stop/slow down on the ponies. My main goal is to get back to babying my hair and showing it TLC on a regular basis. I’m natural and I been curly however I don’t have the energy any longer to keep up with it. Starting back at being a straight natural, wish me luck.

      Hi 👋🏾!! You have all my best wishes my friend! I agree with you- babying our hair can really help it thrive. I love it! But we also have busy lives and sometimes it’s a struggle to put forth that TLC.
      I’m so glad you found my channel! Thank you for engaging & sharing your goals. Have a wonderful weekend! 💐

    hi regina 🤗
    im team long hair right with you.
    those hot oil treatments are so nice and relaxing in addition to being healthy for our hair. i used to buy those vials too, but i just started making my own oil mixes, depending on what i feel my hair needs at the time. castor oil is one of the main ingredients, and since it is very heavy, i dilute it with lighter oils. because the oil is warm, it also helps to spread it easier during application. my protective styles will be twists and plaits (because i can't braid 😂🤣). tgin, nature's little secret and carol's daughter have very moisturizing...i just bought two jars of b&b hair grease from sally beauty to get back to using this year. ive started doing more high buns and loose ponytails, mostly to keep my hair out of my face while im gardening - but you're right, slick/tight ponytails and other "pulled" hairstyles can cause breakage and reduce length retention.
    im excited to see your hair growth journey this year. i'll be right with you. tfs

      #teamlonghair Hi Healy!! Yess, I can't wait to do my first hot oil treatment. I know I can make my own, but I'm going to see what the beauty supply store has. Thanks for sharing what you use to moisturize -- others have recommended TGIN and Carol's Daughter as well.
      Here's to achieving healthy, long hair in 2025!!! We got this. :)

    I’m not in my 50’s, but I love your content! I am 41 and I have fine hair and have a hard time finding other fine hair naturals with long hair. My goal for 2025 is to have a better diet, drink more water and moisturize my hair to get past brastrap. I’ve had my hair longer before but I always find myself slacking in the previous years.

      Hiiii! I'm so happy you found me and I love that you’re vibing with the content! Just keep that water bottle close and your hair will be hitting new lengths in no time! Like you, I'm trying to eat healthy b/c I know that plays a factor with not just our hair but our overall health.
      I appreciate you so much! Thank you engaging with me. You got this!

    Hi beautiful, I love hot oil treatments. I used to use the hot oil treatments in the tube's once a month years ago. Now, I mix my own oils for my hot oil treatment, almond oil, peppermint oil, rosemary oil, and vitamin E oil. I use that treatment twice a month for my prepoo. My goal is to do more twist outs for growth and healthy hair, and I feel my hair stay moisturized longer. Great video.

      Hi Sherry! I like the sound of your 2025 goals. I can’t wait to start my pre-poos/hot oil treatments! You’re doing good with using leave-ins as stylers. You got this! 💃🏾 💃🏾

    You brought me back with the hot oil treatment. I haven't done one in years and probably need to get back to them as well. I had a stylist tell me that if you are going to wear a ponytail don't place it in the same spot every time. So if I wear a low ponytail the next time I move it and wear a high ponytail. Its the tension from wearing it in the same spot that attributes to the damage.

      Hi 👋🏾!! That stylist knew what she was talking about. 😃Maybe I should’ve known better, but I guess it just occur to me. Thank you so much for chiming in and sharing. Have a great weekend! 💕💐

    I too have fine hair with lots of strands and was not retaining moisture. Early 2024 I decided that the routines of Abby Yung and Ianna Yvonne were for me (both are on TH-cam). Within 6 weeks my hair shaped up! Now, I trim every 4 months, color every 6 weeks, I flat iron whenever I feel like it, I am a 4b natural and my hair is bra strap length. I wash my hair once a week - 1) prepoo, 2) mild clarifying shampoo, 3) moisturizing shampoo, 4) hair mask, 5) moisturizing conditioner, 6) leave in conditioners (I always include a leave in bond repair). Steps 2 - 5 are all in the shower. Once a month I use all bond repair products and once a month all protein products. The products and consistency have enabled me to retain moisture and length. I also realized that scalp health is key. My prepoo is an ayurvedic hair oil blend plus Rene Furterer’s COMPLEXE 5 STIMULATING PLANT CONCENTRATE. I am excited for your decision! Hair that cooperates is a plus! Thx for sharing!

    Love the hair goals! 💕 My goal is to stay consistent with my current routine and current products, which I believe are serving me well. I live in medium, loose twists which I plait up in 5 big plaits after washing, moisturizing and every night before bed. It’s keeping my hair stretched, moisturized and protected. I want the length too Sis! 😅💕 Thanks for sharing!

    Hey friend! Great goals. I’m going to do hot oil treatments too but after I deep condition. My hair loves extra virgin olive oil for hot oil. I also gotta stay away from pony tails! The same thing happened to me. Wigs are a struggle for me because I get headaches with just the slightest bit of tension 😩 but I did get goddess braids last summer that I loved. Your hair looks so pretty, healthy, and long 😍. Thanks for sharing!

      Hiiii, it’s so good to see you! 😁I might play around with when I do the hot oil treatment - pre poo or mix it in with my deep conditioner. I remember that you like olive oil.
      Thanks for sharing!!

      @NaturallyCorporate  8 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Hi Desiree! I can imagine that coloring dilemma. I have a few grays but you can’t see them. I wonder what I’ll do when I get there. Does the color affect your hair negatively?

    • @desireejackson7170
      @desireejackson7170 7 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      No it does not because most of the time I go to my hairstylist Peter and let him do it but I have not been to him in a couple of months I’ve had a lot of deaths so I let the grey grow out so I don’t mess up what he has done in 2 months mine grew out so much I looked like cotton candy and i did not like that so I’m still there it’s all in my head this is the year to work it out.

    Other than my home made oil mixture… I’m looking into k18 oil to infuse my hair. I put in cane row with weave sew in hair just this week/ the only thing is I don’t know how to treat the cane rows and scalp. So we’re using similar styles - how long do you keep the crochet in for?

    Hi. Your hair is beautiful. You dont have to buy those anymore. Coccunut, avocado, and olive oil are great fir my hot oil treatment pre-poos. I just apply to my scalp and hair, sit under my heat cap for at least 30mins and then shampoo.
