I love the results. I appreciate you mentioning the silk press. The likely culprit is heat damage from the silk press. I had that happen to me as well. My hair never returned to its natural curl pattern, so I had to have it cut and start all over.

Happy Tuesday! I am a new subscriber! I really need this tutorial video because I have been natural for about 2 years now and I have 4C type thick course hair. Beautiful transformation. I am glad that you explained about the difference between getting a silk press and how it takes away your curl pattern. I get silk presses at least twice a year and will stop getting them because my curl pattern is totally different now. Thank you again.

I like these rollers- I usually use rod set rollers and they can get quite frustrating and slippery once you have so much product on your hands🙄...and pop right in your face lol..annoying. Soooo thank you I will be trying these. Very nice job! 💕

Your hair turned out beautifully. By using the rollers with clamps it doesn't appear that you have lines from the clamps. Can you share the brand of rollers and where you purchased them? Thank you so much the video.

I've been going to Dominican stylists in NYC for over 20 years. They will generally use the larger rollers when they are going to blow my natural hair straight. I only blow it once a year for a good trim though. They also use the large rollers when I am going to have them wrap my hair. When I take my wrapped hair down, the curls are smoothed out and I have lots of bounce and body. When I want a curly style, they'll use smaller half dollar size rollers and then separate the curls. I get a head full of curls that way. Your hair came out very nice with lots of sheen.
I want to attempt to do the large rollers and wrap my hair next time. I love that look. Should I do larger rollers? Thank You for commenting

Loved it. You did a wonderful job. I was wondering...how long will that hairsyle last and how do yiu maintain it?
Thank You 🙏🏽 for myself about a week in a half. I would put it in two ponytails split down the middle, then tie a scarf around the nape. You can also pin curl them back at night or some would even wrap it with a paddle brush which would give a straight style. Hope this helps.

Ms. Ty, I personally think it would really help, because as your hair dryes on the rollers It loosens which makes your curls not as tight.

Hey there, it lasted about a week in a half. At night I would put it in two loose ponytails and put a scarf around my edges and nape. Hope that helps

How does it hold up, if you sweat a lot?!
It’ll swell up and get really big. Mostly in the roots
