I'm biggest fan BRUCE. Unfortunately, he couldn't gave us that great knowledge of JKD but I'm very lucky that you always try say what BRUCE want to say to the world. Your videos always make me stronger than ever before. Waiting for your next video. Until then I will be like WATER my friend.
Your martial arts videos are underrated and deserves more audience, I've been getting alot of knowlege and helpful information from watching your videos, Don't stop what you're doing im very thankful!
You are extremely kind to teach us The Art of JKD and Wing Chun for free. Not targetting anybody but I've seen some few paid courses which are not even applicable in real life except your teaching makes sense and I find it accurate as well as few other people I know of. Thank you so much to you and your team for the great lesson!
Hi Sifu Dan, I´ve watched all of your "Wing Chun for beginners"-videos. I like the intro, the camera and your style of teaching. Thx a lot for sharing your knowledge!
Wow you So amazing, the first time I watched your video on the other side of this. I asked myself "is this man related to any Grandmaster, I think you have it in you" but no wonder you teaching basic Wing Chun Techniques (PART 1 to 6). No doubt, you so kind and I like that of your spirit. God bless you Mr Dan.
Good how you showed the hip turn with biu sau, range, power, clearing. Also if you rest your arms over each other (like crossing your arms, but don’t tuck in the top arm) you can quickly use the bottom arm to shoot into a biu sau, non-telegraphed. Or the top arm. Thank you for all your martial art videos, I enjoy learning and practicing wing chun and JKD, and practical movements.
Recently found this channel and I'm actually trying to see all of this videos because I really like your approach on the subject... There is actually really much practical techniques you can use in a good context, something you can't always find on an traditional martial art channel... Also really love the biu sao, the most sneaky techniques I've seen from now on👍😂😊 thx to you Dan Lock you've tuched the little something inside me that makes me really want to find a good wing chun instructor...
Great series, thanks for shedding some light on the basics! For toughening up that finger-gouge, an effective conditioning exercise is plunging your hand into a bucket of sand or small gravel to start, over and over. Then moving into heavier stones. Get used to doing that and the finger strike will do serious damage anywhere you target. Love these videos, Dan. If you're ever in Ontario, the Niagara area send some love. Maybe we can spar, share some ideas. I'll cover the first round afterwords too! Cheers.
Will there be another season of your beginner series? Really enjoyed it, it was very informative and fun to watch. Definitely like your approach and how you teach!
I'm eternally grateful for true knowledge to be passed along! I appreciate your no-nonsense attitude and actual life-application awareness. The effortless power is obvious through the body mechanics...I intend to fine tune my mechanics just the same!! Thank you Sifu Dan!! 💥✊💥
Absolutely love this beginner series. I've trained a few different things over the years, but always loved wing chun and never lived somewhere that had a school. You do a fantastic job of showing and explaining these fundamentals! Keep up the good work, I look forward to more content!
Mr Dan ,I love the history lesson and all the explanation.Everything made so much sense.i really love watching and listening to you ,shows your passion for the art.I am not a martial artist but I really love watching it and I also appreciate all years of practice that goes with it . Thank you for making this available for us to watch n learn.
I been watching your vids for about a month now, and have been a fan of WC for a while now, I think your probably one of the best at teaching beginners and I've watch many.. Great job to you and your staff...
I am one of the persons that was blessed to have seen Bruce Lee once live at about 12 or 13 yrs. old , when he was "Kato" . This was at a place called Riverside Park in Agawam, Massachusetts doing a demonstration against like 3or4 black belts although I lived in Connecticut, then and now. That inspired me for life. I wanted to meet him, but wasn't able to. Now as an older fellow 63 yrs old, You too have inspired me for 2 reasons. 1. because of your Wing Chun and 2. Because of your business knowledge. I would love to meet up with you and speak with you about those 2 things if you ever come to this area because I have some ideas about a couple of things that I'm very interested in having come to fruition. I love your videos and I try to learn as much as I can from them. Stay blessed my friend !!!
Hola amigo Dan...espero sigas enseñando técnicas básicas de Wing Chun...eres un excelente maestro...espero enseñes pronto otras series de clases de este gran Arte Marcial...Dios te siga bendiciendo...Saludos desde Venezuela. God bless you always
Jibobby Yes, IIRC, "Sao" is "hand", which is what you're mostly going to attack with. I wish Duolingo would add Cantonese rather than just Mandarin, then I might be able to learn more words than that!
Cobra Kai! Recently found your channel, I'm in the stage of my life where your experiences and knowledge is quite useful as a martial artist and beginning my entrepreneur path. Thanks dude.
bro u r so awesome and u made me fall in love with wing chun, but may i ask a question, what if we striked with our fingers and the fingers might break like how do we make sure our fingers dont break when we strike
Thank you Dan. Yes. Biu Gi..not allow going outside ..thank you. When show.. It is close door close window with shades.. Very serious. Is for only close door student. Thank you.

I have great help to continue with my teacher Yang who was teaching me wing chung. please teacher, show us again your W.C. Thank you and sorry for the inconvenience. Greetings. Good Life.
This style can also be used to target pressure points in different parts of the body. Targeting point in the chest will reduce opponents reaction time giving you the upper hand in the fight.
Can you recommend a SiFu in Melbourne Australia? I want to learn, but I know it's very important to be guided by someone with lots of experience. Cheers, love your videos
hello master dan lok. I wanted to know when I upload more videos, more classes of wing chung. I've stayed with knowing more yet, they were pretty good. Meanwhile I am practicing what I teach and what of JKD as well. thank you very much. Good Life. regards

I have watch the 6 basic blocks. When I saw the second part I thought it's the same but there's the stance at first which means I'll be missing 1 block. I think it was lap sao. Your video is better than the other one that I saw. I wish you could also teach us lap... Please.... Thank you.
