I bought this kit about 5 years ago when all my milwaukee tools were stolen from my van and I was honestly surprised at how well they performed, I did go back to milwaukee but kobalt in my opinion is worth every penny and a bit more! I don't know how well they would perform on a big commercial job but all I do now is service plumbing and they worked awesome in the service category!!!
I bought this set in December, and the two tools I thought I would use the absolute least in came in super handy in our ice storm down in TX- that goofy flashlight saved a crap-ton of batteries, and the reciprocating saw was amazing on limbs as I was clearing our street and my chainsaw had given up. Other tools in the set are perfect and have seen heavy use as well. Just picked up a 24v blower today and I really got a kick out of using it inside to blow the stray leaves out.
I just bought this set.. couldn’t pass up with free tool include.. picked the circ saw… and got also for 150 purchased the 2 pack battery/ charger with free tool picked the jig saw.. thanks for sharing
I am a beginner plumber and I am looking for some power tools that are affordable yet help get that job done. I will be cutting quite a few cast iron stacks and will the electric saw do the job?
Im a HVAC installer and have had the kobalt Xtr line for over a year the only problem they have are the impacts. Mine is starting to give out and I know 2 other guys who have them and it's the same the impacts just don't last but everything else does. But with the price of a kobalt impact I would say worth it. They just need to be made smaller.
249 and you get a free tool of choice. Get the new gen 3 circular saw. The best part about this redesign, the battery base no longer looks odd or out of place on the tool.
@@WorkshopAddict that is currently my go to saw. Love the dust shoot and the depth adjustment. I ripped a bunch of sheets with that thing and it just kept cutting all day.
I went with the XTR line for my work on AC heating n cooling with medium construction. I rather have it and not need it then need it and not have it. Plus work smarter not harder with NO shortcuts
I had bought the 6 tool with soft roller bag when Lowe's cleared them out for $200 after Christmas 2019. They've held up well, but then again I'm only doing apartment maintenance so I never push them to the max. The one hand recip saw has been very useful for the job. Actually impressed a bit for the price. In my mind I put them on the same tier as Ridgid.
They are better than Rigid, because Rigid get hot way quicker. Also, to get 6 tools for $200 that under rate power, sell batteries for a reasonable price, and are built solid to say you were "impressed a bit" is insulting. I dont work for Kobalt or anything, actually I'm a Bosch fan boy but Kobalt is better than many middle tier for nearly half the price. Great product with great warranties.
I gave up on new kobalt I’ll stick with the XTR line only went to Lowe’s yesterday the new kobalt were there but not a lot of variety of tools I mainly use the buffer for waxing cars it’s very good and the pole and chainsaws now
Why make it waterproof?the tools are not…AND it is a tool INCLUDED with the tools not a rifle or deer stand,etc..but other than that great content..it helped me decide..I bought the set
@@SuperSoldierStan I know.. that was my point.. these are basically the FLEX tools from their launch.. they've got some next generation stuff coming soon....🤔
@@boosted2.4_sky aaah, i know what you mean brother, i dont have any flex tools, i have several kobalt, i touched flex tools in stores, for sure, the fit , finish and feel of kobalt is similar to flex, feels solid in the hands.. 👍
The Lowes store in Helena,Mt. is almost useless because of lack of training!Tried to buy this kit with a free tool sale.NONE of the employees, even management, could not ring up the free tool where I did not have topay for it.They acted like they had never heard of their OWN SALE! Come on Lowes.
That is too bad because I would put this line up against some pro tools. I too felt that Kobalt and Craftsman were some low end stuff, but getting my hands on this stuff has changed my mind. The low end Ryobi tools made me feel like low end stuff would never cut it. That is just Ryobi and Hart. They are worth the look. I would not make these videos and stake my reputation on it if they were not worth it.
@@WorkshopAddict when I first got started in industrial I bought kobalt. They surprised everyone. Now my experience with them is the tools are just fine but the batteries didn't hold up over time. Who knows though if they went with 21700 cells maybe they've upgraded the batteries. Needless to say they definitely are not junk

I like Kobalt tools. You get almost Milwaukee power with the Ryobi price

I keep wanting to hate kobalt because it's cheap but every kobalt 24v tool I have are awesome. I have most of the tools they offer.
My impact driver has a lot of battery movement. How's yours?

Job video. I have a Kobalt planer which I like and an XTR circular saw which is good. I should get one of their high end batteries for it.

What is your camera and audio setup?
Thank you so much for this video درود بر شما متشکرم اقا
If Lowes existed in Canada more then like 5 stores I probably would've bought kobalt over ryobi
Kobalt > ryobi
The pro on ryobi is they have a ton of selections but quality goes to kobalt in my opinion
Kobalt has been killin it...👍
I'm in the Ridgid line...they're good i can't complain...I also have FLEX..the Kobalt reminds of them...
@@boosted2.4_sky both tool lines are made by the same company, CHERVON, they make kobalt, flex, skil, and Ego

Ive never had a drill driver with the extra handle
Appreciate the overview and demo

Sounds like a whole lot of home Depot workers, worthless
They’ll probably mark it down for Black Friday
They might since it comes with a free tool now. But these just came out 2 weeks ago.
That drill is only 70 foot lbs not 850. It's 850 inch lbs

Not junk bro, black and decker is junk, SOME of ryobi tools are junk, SOME craftsman are junk, NOT kobalt, get your hands on one of them..
