Just want to say thank you for all the information on this VFD. I've been going through the same thing and had no joy in trying to get the vfd to work, but now i have the means to decode the very poor instructions, i can finally try and get things moving forward.
Hi, Thank you for this very informative video. I am right now, trying to do the same with my Myford ML7. I've had to send three of these inverters back as broken due to very poor instructions. Could you Pease, please, please let me have a photo / diagram of the switch wiring as I'm unsure how to wire up the start / stop switches. This has been a very stressful project thus far. I just want to make sure that everything is spot on before blowing up another inverter. Incidentally, My inverter is the same as yours. Thanks once again.
Hi, sorry to hear you are having problems. The wiring diagram is at 24:24 in the video, you could pause it there and take a screenshot. There is also additional information following that. I used normally open non-latching switches for the start & stop switches. I found the instruction sheet by searching on google XSY-AT1. Hope this helps. Also take a look at Steve Jordan's youtube channel, he has fitted one to his ML7.
@@InTheShedUK the one thing I do need is a clear picture of the parameters chart that you showed in your video and said that you’d put a clearer image of it at the end of the video, but unfortunately you didn’t. I’ve taken a screen shot of it, but it’s too blurry when printed. Hope you can help?
Good Evening, Very good video!!!! Is it possible to set the AT1 to run for a specific time 5 minutes.....12 minutes.......or as long as someone wants? Thanks Manolis Greece
After using all your information, ive finally got things working, with one minor issue, when I try and use a 10k ohm potentiometer to control the speed, i only get 35.5 Hz max speed. If i use the panel control, i get full speed, qhich is set at 65hz Did you have any problems like that and if you did, what did you do to fix it.
Not sure if the translation is correct but looks like your asking about programming the inputs? All the programming inputs I made are in the video after 24:32 The full manual is available for downline online, search for 'XSY-AT1 Manual PDF' hope this helps

This was a big help in fitting a VFD to my mill. The remote switch wiring was cofusing for me but your wiring diagram was easy to follow. Thank you!
Cheers for this..Best info I've found..Especially the parameters stuff.....Thanks!))
Glad to be of help.
Brilliant work, must do this to mine
I think I would prefer a variable speed drive (VSD) when I upgrade mine.
do you know what is the SP1 (open collector output) made for and how to wire it?

Just wanted to say a massive thank you for putting me straight on the VFD wiring and programming. All works a treat now. @@InTheShedUK

I could not find anything in the instructions for a timer. There does appear to be a function to turn the inverter off after one hour.
Nice job well done

I have never looked at the panel control to check max speed. Next time I use the lathe I will have a look.
I had the same problem and solved it by changing parameter p73 from 61440 to 31440. Hope that helps.
Mi spiegheresti come hai programmato gli ingressi , complimenti ciao
