People don’t realize how much skill it takes to dismantle a tree so smoothly, another great video!

I've watched a number of your video the last week and one thing comes across clearly. You are professional and methodical in the way you proceed. Even in this video, "hack and slash:. Another is the heights you climb to. I haven't seen many climb as high and on such narrow trunks. I am amazed at the confidence you show and the accuracy to support that confidence. Stumbling across your channel was a lucky break for me.

      Thank you.
I certainly try to think things through before I do them. I'd hate to just be cruising along not thinking and then accidentally hurt myself or someone else.
Thanks it definitely comes from experience knowing what I can and can't tie into.

Awesome work as usual. What I'm wondering is why would anyone allow a tree to grow that big that close to their house 🏡 imagine the foundation damage from the roots...

I went for a trial test day as a crew leader climber which I have 5 heard experience doing. I went yesterday. This company was bombarding me on indeed djentonthe experience on my resume. We get to the job and I have to remove a 95 footnsugar maple. Pretty wide. Nice center tie inland rigging points. The crew leader that was there and knew I was supposed to replace him because he was too old to climb anymore and the rest of the guys don't him because he acts like a drill servant. So I show up I have all my own gear besides spikes. So he gives me old spikes that are way too big for me to the point they were unsafe and my foot was almost falling out every time I took a step up the tree so was sketched out and went a bit slow and told him they were too big. I suggested I throw a line to the top crotch and rope wall up the tree with the knee ascender. He said no. I was like ok? So n I'm trying to spikes up this massive truck with spikes was too loose and dull. I made it up 20 feet used a big saw to cut a large 2p foot long broken limb off. 2 cuts first was a notch half way and then flushed the rest. The crew leader then told me to come down right after I tied in my climbing line. I was confused. He straight up came up to me and told me you're not a climber. Do you do dope? I was so disrespected. Were you in an accident? I said totalled my car. He said that explains it you have a brain injury and I said noninwasnt even hurt what is your problem? He then told the other climber to go up the line I just set. He rope walks up in just like the crew leader told me not to. I told him why would n I have all this expensivehear and was a crew leader and a climber for years? He said I guess it was your car accident. So I asked him so what's the deal am k getting hired as a climber and maybe crew leader he said absolutely not. When it comes down to it I report to the boss and I'm going to tell him you're not a climber and you're figedty and seen like you're on dope. I was so angry and disrespected. He then asked me if i want to leave. I was baffled. I said nobody has ever disrespected me like this and incantation climb like an exspert and have even entered completions. Insaid incase even shown you videos he was like indont want tonsee idc. I said you're literally doing this because I'm threatening you're job and you'll donanyrhingbto out me and just wint man up and admitnit. I then went homem incase supposed to get paid $40 an hour and was paid $25. Worst experience ever. I just want a normal climbing job again with a cool group of guys bug nobodies hiring near me.

With your ramblings, grammar and spelling errors it's no wonder why.

I'm sure all those small branches getting hung up on each other had to be maddening. Nice job though.

I need to know what rope grab you have that works bidirectionally! Really simple yet sweet double lanyard setup. Keep ripping brother

Not riding you, just saying. That's what the comment section is for. Gotta say I cringed a couple of times when you rigged a few pieces into your lap. Didn't like the thought of a rope or a piece of tree hitting the top of your Zigzag and sending you for an unplanned drop. Also wondering why you don't use your retrievable choker for your climb line when you're working down the spar? Many guys choke the Zigzag to the tree like you're doing , but you can see the side pressure it puts on it to the point where it can bend or break. Besides the fact if you had to repel off it that unless you catch a stub it wouldn't work.
