I think a bucket or lift are in the way on most jobs and alot of times its just quicker to climb. And those slice cuts piss me off in big wood. Never fails I'll get pinched
That's my view as well. They certainly have their places as useful tools. Yea it happens occasionally, sometimes I remember to bring a wedge up with me, but if I forget then I'm left fighting the piece
@ReallyTallTreeGuy I usually try to keep a key chain carabiner with me when I'm chunking big wood. But alot of times I forget one and that's when I get pinched
Would you be so kind and share what state your in…south-east I gather…which pine is it - I am amazed how different they are…I work in diff states-Cali, Colorado, Illinois and Michigan- they all hinge a bit different no matter how similar they are. My fav thing to do if it gets pinchy…piece of bark(I know you have done it) love your rhythm or cadence and the no ego, no wordy bullshit…just get it done attitude.
It seams like ya ground crew never keeps up to your speed , that seams to be a setback with ya waiting on them on every video ya legs and feet take the punishment just hanging around , sorry the pun

Yea they rarely keep up, or they choose to process the branches under the tree as opposed to moving them away and letting me progress.
