And god so much fucking more
That movie is just bonkers

Nothing’s as satisfying as watching a bunch of drunk adult men watch a movie you’ve read an unholy amount of fanfiction about
I never even considered there could be fanfics about this movie…
@@alecro2112 rule 34
Pardon?
Are you a fellow Alfred simp?
Cough up the fanfic links! For science.
I wish I had someone in my life who loves me the way that Razzle loves The Sorcerer's Apprentice.
Oh, um, I’m sorry to hear that, mate.
Don’t we all
Drunk and with lots of bad jokes?
@@heinshaaine8153 Hell yeah
get you someone that looks at you the way we look at Jay Baruchel
I'm waiting for the guys to do We Get Drunk and Watch The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie (2004) ft. David Hasselhoff.
Wait are they going to watch it?
@@skyshunts I have no idea, I'm just saying that I hope they do it and will wait for them to do so when they get to it.
That'll be hilarious. I've watched that film countless times as a kid... I still remember every line and scene to that film clearly. My God, what is wrong with me? 💀
Me too
I had the same idea + the script read.
Seeing them react to a bad movie is fun but watching them watch a movie they love is even better
Yea they should honestly do it a lot more. Hell, they should do bad movies that they love
@@RozyPoyo like the haunted mansion commentary? it's one of my favorites
wtf u mean bad movie? Them fighting words
@@flightlesslord2688 I’m talking about movies like food fight or avatar

“The Cage who lived, come to die!”- He who shall not be Cage
I feel so vindicated. This movie got dragged as aggressively average everywhere I looked, and I absolutely loved it. I think you guys nailed it during the first coil scene, it's him finding his inner rizz that does it, but I get that same giddy feeling everytime I watch it
yeah! i think people like to hate everything nick cage is in, and also any movie that has fun and isnt taking itself too seriously. just because the jokes arent witty mcu oneliners and are instead a kind of goofy plot and characters doesnt mean that its not funny.
honestly, i always loved this movie. it felt like a passion project and had a lot of heart, and thats really one of the main things i look for in a movie. i enjoy watching it because they enjoyed making it.
same bro
@@marink7332 agreed, its a fun, light classic imo.
I didnt know it was dragged I loved it as a kid
@@AllDaGoodUsernamesWereTaken Same i just rewatched and saw people dragged it when it released lmao
Honestly it's a crime that to my memory, this is only the second Nic Cage movie they've done. They really need to do Con Air.
And Kick Ass it would be so perfect!
They also watched National Treasure
Love Con Air it's beautiful
Ghost Rider 👻 🔥 🏍️ ⛓️
G-Force is unironically one of my favorite vocal performances from Nic Cage
Hiccup really has a thing for blondes
Also Jay Baruchel and Nicholas Cage are the perfect B movie actors. Say what you will about Jay’s acting, but he makes the perfect awkward young man. Yeah not much range and basically requires type casting but it works.
When he did HTTYD, he said that he much preferred voice acting over actual on camera acting. He said that he always felt awkward and uncomfortable in front of a camera, despite wanting to be an actor.
shit was relatable as a kid lol, I too have a thing for blondes... even back then
The scene where he plays Secrets by OneRepublic on the tesla coils changed my life as a kid
The boys roleplaying as Jay Baruchel makes this one of the best Razzles in a long, long time
I love Zach screaming “GIVE ME MORE” as the movie ends
This is spectacular. Nick Cage, Hiccup, and Doc Oc in the same movie???? Sign me the fuck up
The goal /has/ to be met, the last five minutes alone the price; that was the most legit heartwarming moment in this godforsaken channel, the sheer and absolute joy in them is so beautiful.
We have to do Meet The Robinsons next, man.
I think this is genuinely one of, if not THE, best Razzle commentary, because you can tell the guys are having so much fun and so clearly love this movie with their whole hearts.
I’ve always wanted a Sorcerer’s Apprentice world in Kingdom Hearts (I already know DDD already has one but like that’s the one from Fantasia) It would be just so surreal to see Nick Cage Wizard to talk about Keyblades
I can just see this Nic In the upcoming KH game where their on Japan for awhile
he shows up an judges Sora's shoes, eats half a pickle then turns pickle into a whip to kill Heartless
"Where's the keyblade, Dave?"
If they ever make an inevitably terrible Kingdom Hearts movie, Nic Cage for Ansem.
and you know his ass would somehow know everything about the keyblades, it would be peak
I mean KH always had a sorcerer's apprentice world (Mysterious Tower) and because of how important Yen Sid is to the story, I don't think we'll ever get a world based on this movie
It's pretty refreshing seeing all the guys actually enjoy the movie they're watching, and rightfully so. It's a pretty fun movie, I was one of the few people to actually watch it in cinemas when it premiered.
I used to love this film when I was young I haven't seen it in years but I was just thinking about it the other day I'm glad you guys are covering it
Samee
Same here
By the time it came out, I was about 14 and I loved it. I would watch it over and over again with my little brother on dvd. He still has the dvd to this day!
The fact that it never got a sequel was either justice or criminal, can't tell
@@crossphadedexperience4836 apparently it wasn’t favorably reviewed enough/didn’t make enough money. I always assumed the consensus was that the movie was disliked, so i through it was underrated. Didn’t know so many ppl actually liked it, tho this isn’t the best sample size. But it’s nice go know I’m not alone in liking it
If they haven't already. They should definitely watch Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant, it has John C. Reilly, and Josh Hutchinson. Pure gold ✨️
I second this. Also, I’m here for John C. Reilly and Josh Hutcherson being added to the Razzle universe. Might I also suggest the Bridge to Terabithia and Talladega Nights?
Willem Defoe too, as a childhood fan of the books I do have to say though, that movie is so bad
@@mattnar3865 It really did. I saw it in theaters, and was so disappointed
@@mattnar3865 they need to watch boondock saints
That’s gotta be an October commentary
This movie was like my favorite thing ever as a child. Ever since we’ve gotten the Old Man Shoes joke over a year ago I’ve been waiting for this
Dude this was unironically my favourite movie growing up and watching you guys react to it unlocked memories I forgot were there
Same! I loved it so much as a child.
Can't wait to bust out laughing at every joke
"Can't wait to bust" Oh really? Can I join you? mmmm
i’m so glad i’m not the only one who absolutely loves this film so much. i’ve never really met anyone else who even knows of this movie, let alone someone who gets so excited about it. this makes me happy.
The boys continuously making Jay Baruchel say "I didn't piss my pants" is the funniest shit.
Here are some movies I want to see the guys do for the future:
-Underdog
-Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked
-Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip
-The Smurfs 2
-Planet 51
-Enchanted
-Hop
-Spider-Man 3
-Chicken Little
-Meet the Robinsons
-Bolt
-Cars
Oh UNDERDOG
This is honestly a really solid list. I'd love to see them commentate on pretty much all of these.
@@KevintheRhea Cast your votes now, will they simp over the dog or Peter Dinklage?
The peak for Underdog; Patrick Warburton.
Underdog is so underrated
That scene with Secrets and the tesla coils was a core memory fr. I miss this movie
How we started: “this is mid”
How it’s going: “YOOO LETS go!”
I love your character arcs of loving the movie
Really is a crime this film didn't get a sequel. I loved this as a kid and it's still great now.
I haven't seen you guys get this hype for a movie finale since Nacho Libre, I love that you're all having fun ❤️
I genuinely love watching them unironically love a movie
“Multiverse of Midness” is my new favorite thing now! 😂😂😂
The power of wizardry in the palm of Doc Ock's hand. Hello Harry
"Wait hold on, is he gonna learn how to train that dragon" was the best joke by far 😂
There is no better sound in the world than adult men sobbing because they don't want the end credits of Sorcerer's Apprentice roll. honestly, i felt the same way watching this video end
I've never heard of this movie till today, and yet these guys have single handedly got me hyped for it and made me think this is the coolest shit I've ever seen, I love it
Yeah I have to rewatch it and I watched it with my kids
I now can’t wait to see them watch how to train your dragon. I can only imagine how nuts they’ll go over it
I remember enjoying this movie as a kid, especially the part with “Secrets” on the Tesla coils. I also remember watching the behind the scenes and being shocked that the main love interest was played by an Australian actress, because I guess I never considered someone could do an accent other than their own.
Edit: If you want to watch another Jay Baruchel movie, This Is The End seems like it would fit the RAZZLE universe. Another one I’d like to recommend is Shaolin Soccer, specifically the English dub. That movie goes hard.
THIS WAS MY FAVOURITE FILM AS A CHILD I AM SO EXCITED FOR THIS AS SOON AS I READ ‘OLD MAN SHOES’ MY HEART SANG
They want Jay Baruchel movies, that means there's potential for
- How to Train Your Dragon (obviously)
- Tropic Thunder
- Knocked Up
- Night At The Museum
Don't forget She's Out Of My League.
In the end
As someone who’s written fanfiction for this movie, I’m so happy you guys reacted to it. :)
I love it unconditionally, no matter how strange it may be.
9:58 “It’s so great seeing him become the guy who gets the girl.” I felt that. This movie is too relatable
This movie was a favorite of mine as a kid. I tried finding other people (like on Reddit or whatever) that liked it too, but it's rare to come by. Glad this film is now a certified Razzle classic 👌
Absolutely insane that I could not distinguish your inserts from Jay's acting. He's incredible.
Alan dressing as a hotdog is a weirdly full circle of life type thing.
I'm literally watching this video for the second time back-to-back because i loved this movie so much as a kid, and the love that all of the guys have for it has filled me with a joy that i haven't experienced in a while. The genuine love for the film and sadness when it ended was peak cinema (talking about the commentary). I need the Meet the Robinsons video, i NEED it
My friend and I got high last summer and watched this movie and based on one stupid joke I made she wrote a prologue for a sequel with me in it. We have a lot of fun.
SEND US THE LINK TO THAT PROLOGUE, PLEASE. :3.
I was SO hoping for an "I think we should change clothes" callback, and of course, Razzle deliver.
I loved this movie as a kid, so glad to see it held up so well. Even happier to see how much the boys enjoyed it
I one spoke to my sister about some guilty pleasure movies we watch all the time by ourself when we’re bored and for some reason both of us had this and Dracula Untold. Now I can’t tell you why we both separately watched these movies about 20 times but there’s gotta be something to it
Tldr: I’d let emo magician Nicholas Cage kiss me
Same. :3.
The amount of happiness I got after seeing y'all watch this movie drunk was just perfect!!
Can't wait for the "OLD MAN SHOES!" XD
I came here to see if anyone had thought of this yet.
You bested me, I guess.
@@mariolorenzo5010 Dude I've been waiting for this one! Been asking for this for like a year. Now they just need to do Kick-Ass!
@@Hoofler I love that movie.
I’ve never been so excited for a future video! Meet the Robinsons is my absolute favourite underrated movie
The way their laughs built up after "not in a threatening way" was fucking hilarious
You know they're really good friends when they think and say the same things at the same time. Also, this movie is 10/10 I always wanted there to be squalls but alas nothing so great can be had in this timeline.
One of the best commentaries you've ever done. Loved that you that you actually had fun and you truly liked the movie. Always fun hearing you guys.
"When she hits the Bad Dragon!"
You didn't think we'd catch it, but we did 😉😂
The amount of thirst energy they have for this movie and Jay Baruchel brings me endless joy
When he mentions ebay it was a perfect time to make a Transformers joke. Imagine Sam & the sorcerer's apprentice end up buying each other's stuff off eBay.
The "Hold on is he gonna learn how to train that dragon" got me
I LOVE this film so much. The magic is just so special, and I'll be honest and state that I have had a very big crush on Jar Baruchel ever since first seeing him in this.
I'll never forget seeing this in theaters with my mom and after the movie she told me "you know your dad's friend was nice cages cousin" and I've had to bear that knowledge since
For the record that cousin/friend of my dad was weird as shit
Man, Mickey was on some good shit when he put that wizard’s hat on in Fantasia.
God i almost forgot how good the CGI was in this movie JESUS CHRIST WHY CANT MOVIES BE THIS GOOD ANYMORE WE NEED A SEQUEL
This film convinced me that, at a younger age, Jay Baruchel could have made for an excellent Peter Parker and exceptional Spider-Man. The Sorcerer's Apprentice is already essentially him playing an introverted nerd who becomes a superhero in NYC (with a beautiful blonde to boot, though Teresa Palmer honestly wouldn't have been my first choice to play Gwen).
Baruchel already had the "likeable, socially awkward outcast with a brilliant scientific mind" archetype locked down. Practically all that was missing at that point was a Spidey suit. Sure, he may not be the guy many think of when imagining the cocky, one-liner spewing web slinger. But I can recall a time when people initially thought similarly about Tobey Maguire.
Jay Baruchel movie but all of the dialogue is from Razzle making jokes about Jay Baruchel-ism typecast lines
This is legitimately my favourite kids movie of all time, and it brings me great joy to see someone else enjoy it as much as me. People said that Nick Cage phoned this film in but I couldn't disagree more, I think he killed it as a thousand year old man wearily trying to prevent a kid from ending the world by chasing after a girl.
I feel like you guys have to do How To Train Your Dragon next to continue the BCU (Baruchel Cinematic Universe)
I'm now looking forward to the razzle boys watching the entire HTTYD trilogy as well as many other Jay Baruchel movies
this was the best reaction video ive watched in a LONGGG time!! usually i go for things where ppl know a lot about a certain subject and whatever but your collective energy was so uplifting and so fun!!! thank you for a fullfilling half hour of entertainment
I have to say the energy of this is so good. So many of these MST3K style riffing YT shows involve the group RIPPING apart the movie and while that’s often funny, I love this balance of poking fun at it but also loving and being excited by the movie!! It’s actually super awesome and makes me feel even more like I’m surrounded by friends. Awesome 🤩
Now I *NEED* a commentary for This is the End.
This is legitimately a really good movie and it has no business being as entertaining as it is.
Rowley and Nic Cage and Doc Ock and Jay Baruchel? This could be the best fictional world ever.
"Nick Cage as Aragorn?"
...please tell me they knew he was originally going to play Aragorn but he turned it down
MEET THE ROBINSONS IS LITERALLY A CINEMATIC MASTERPIECE PLEASE DO A COMMENTARY ON IT!!! 💖💖💖
Meet the robinsons is literally one of my favorite movies of all time, such a classic
Bro I fucking loved this movie as a kid. Nicholas Cage as a wizard, relatable nerd gets with hot blonde woman, and the best One Republic song? Course I love it as a kid lol. Still a bloody fun film
Perfect timing. I found the official film novelization in my local bookstore. I didn't even know the novel existed. I'm not at all upset.
the bananas in pajamas reference is god-tier and also i am begging for the meet the robinsons commentary
I was distract half the time because I just realize the main character is Hiccup’s voice actor 😂
Oh my god I didn't actually notice until you said that. I just assumed the httyd references was just cause of the dragons.
Funny how Sorcerer's apprentice and Avatar the last airbender movie came out roughly the same time but this one has way better waterbending AND firebending.
This is the End is one of my fav Jay Baruchel movies because he plays himself and they spell Jay out in joints!! There are also 2 on-screen Satan slongs for Zach. :)
15:43 "The power of the sun, in the dragon trainer's hand!"
Funny enough Alfred Molina is also in a how to train your dragon property.
Yes Meet the Robinsons!!! So happy to see y'all gush over two of my fav underrated Disney movies!!!
I swear when my dad put on a specific hat he looked exactly like the villain.
That used to be a huge joke during my childhood.
The sobbing at the end of this video was priceless.
Best reaction ever.
Unironically one of my FAVORITE DISNEY MOVIES 😂 TYSM Razzle
"my toxic trait is thinking this is the greatest movie of all time"
when i was 10 i randomly saw a copy of the sorcerers apprentice dvd on a shelf that was right next to the checkouts and decided yeah im going to steal this and honestly it was completely worth it i really like this movie, younger me knew what was good
24:07 I love Meet the Robinsons! I’d love to see a reaction to it
i loved this movie when i was younger i think my apreciation of this movie has only grown over time
RAZZLE doesn’t think I’ve ALREADY SEEN THIER NATIONAL TREASURE COMMENTARY!!! 😂😂😂😂
You guys need to watch This Is The End, with Jay Baruchel, Seth Rogen, Craig Robinson, and James Franco. There’s literally a scene where Seth Rogen writes out Jay out of J’s.
The combo from Nic Cage into Jay into Rowley into 9/11 is insanely real.
I never knew anyone could love this movie to this degree and make it so funny while they are at it xD
love you content razzle i love get drunk series
Honestly, this movie was a guilty pleasure for me. I know it was panned, but it still holds a special place in my heart.
Watching this video was like opening a time capsule of my childhood.
I can't remember to do the dishes, but I still remember the Tesla coil "Secrets" concert.
This movie was SO GOOD. I was obsessed with this movie when it first came out and I literally had a crush on pretty much all the main guy characters. I wanted this to become the next Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, but it flopped really hard. Now it’s amazing nostalgia and I refuse to believe it’s been thirteen years since it came out
