The fact that he catches on so quickly is the most impressive part. He doesn't just recognize that the logo is wrong - he INSTANTLY knows exactly what movie they're actually watching.
Like how a war veteran can recognize some guns firing while having a PTSD episode.

Pretty much everyone does. Even when it first came out, when I knew next to nothing about avatar: the last airbender, I thought the movie was garbage
I love two things about this commentary: 1, the fact that Zach is into Avatar the last Airbender, and 2, it's so hilarious to see him so thrown off
fun fact: this movie was actually my intro to the Avatar universe lmao. I remember getting to the end of it and asking my mom, "when do you think the next one is coming out!? :D" and she was like "uhhhhhh.... I don't think there'll be one. But you can watch the show!"
So I just remembered the dude who plays Sokka in this movie was in the Twilight movies and that got me thinking... why has RAZZLE not yet done a "We got drunk and watched Twilight" video? It would make for such great content.

Honestly the only thing about this movie that I prefer over the show is Aang's tattoos. I feel like the animators of the show wanted to design the tattoos this way but it would take FOREVER to draw them for every single frame Aang is on screen

It's back. I'm so happy, this commentary has the best of Zach's rage moments, especially since he loves the animated series
I remember being in a motion picture history class and the teacher used this movie as an example of terrible adaptation AND it whitewashed the majority of the main cast while keeping the enemies all PoC. Which is apparently used as subtle villainizing of PoC.
It was always weird why they had the fire nation casted as exclusively Indian while the water tribe exclusively white 💀

@@SuperPandaKisser I remember reading that the reason the water tribe characters were white was because the actress who played katara was rich and paid for the role, so m night had to make the water tribe white and subsequently made the fire nation Indian. (Although I did read this from tumblr so who knows if it's even real)

Ryan finally got his revenge, after months of waiting and planning he finally got back at Zach for what he had done. The pure anger and frustration in Zach’s voice when he learned they were watching the other Avatar movie is so funny. It was also really funny how despite how terrible this movie is you guys were still able to make each other laugh and tell a ton of hilarious jokes that I couldn’t stop laughing at. Also for one of your next commentaries I think you should do Transformers 2007 ft. LadiesMan217

I used to watch avatar every time a new episode came on so when they had a live action movie I begged to go see it… remember even then thinking it was bad and my standards for live action were really low as a tween.
As a tween I swear I would watch the most abysmal garbage and be like "it wasn't that bad" but everything changed after the last Airbender attacked
